Good morning guys. There is the girl that work around my office, that I walk up to physically, I collected her number because I like her, not to look desperate, I said I want to be friends with her. Only to start chatting with her, one word reply and then she will ghost me. I try chatting her two times.. I tell one of my friends too. Three months ago, I was in a Keke(Tricycle), while on the way, I was joined by a co-passenger, a young lady. We interacted for some time until I alighted the Keke. While i paid my transport fare, I also paid for her. Hers was #500. We exchanged contacts, & parted ways that day.
For two weeks, I didn't call, chat or messaged her. In fact, I didn't save her number, I forgot to do so that day. It was after 2wks that I remember I took a lady's number, then I began to search my call log, but I still couldn't figure out her number cos I had lots of strange numbers that had called within this period. I felt sad that I couldn't find it. However, it occurred to me that I should check my Truecaller app to see if I could find it, and thank God I was able to find it when I checked and saw her name on the Truecaller app.
I called, I introduced myself, we exchanged pleasantries. We chatted and we began to know each other. She said she's a single mother of two, and that she lost her husband last year. She's 26. Has an ND and helps her elder sister to sell at her provision shop. I began to show interest in her when she started giving me greenlight. I visited her, we hanged out and had a few drinks. She likes to drink all these hot drinks and spirits as well. She's short and dark. I paid for our outing and gave her some money before we parted that day.
She isn't a bad girl. But the situation of things around her is what is frightening me. First, she is the only one fending for herself and two kids. She pays the rent, pays the kids sch fees and everything, according to her o. I asked to know what her late husband's people are doing to help her situation, but to my surprise, she claimed nobody in her family or late husband's family is supporting her in any way. I asked of her own dad, she said she's disowned her dad because the man is irresponsible. I asked how, she said the man isn't responsible to her and her siblings. He married another woman and he only cares about the second wife. I asked again, "Was your dad not the one who trained you in sch"? She replied by saying, what's secondary sch education?. I told her that she should be grateful that she has a father who was able to see her through secondary sch. Telling me that she disowned her father just because of his inability to train her in tertiary institution is not really something I can accept, except there's another reason. But no matter the reason, you must reconcile with your dad. I told her.
Another troubling issue is that she's trying to push her children's responsibilities on me. Sch just resumed and she's stylishly telling me about the kid's sch fees. Who does that?. Whenever we are chatting, she will be asking me why I hardly ask about her kids. She moved into a new house just last month, in the new apartment, there's no light, the room hasn't being painted and so many facilities are not there. She's always complaining to me.
She visited me for the first time yesterday. We romanced and kissed, but this girl refused to let me sleep with her. I pleaded and pleaded but no way and I had to respect myself and bear the pains of my swollen scrotum. I couldn't even walk due to pains. I believe guys understand what I'm saying here. Managed to see her off to the road to get a bike, went to the POS and I gave her my ATM card to withdraw her transport back home. I showed her what I had in my Opay. I had just 3k there and this girl withdrew #2,600 when #500 can take her home. I was surprised but I hid my feelings from her.
Now she's telling me that I don't love her, I only want sex, that why should I be demanding sex on her first visit to my house?. In my mind, I was like, so I'm now the fool who has being giving you money all this while?
You keep collecting my money without thinking it's too early to get money from me, yet it is too early for you to give me sex?
I don't know if she's thinking I will Marry her or shoulder the responsibilities of her kids. What nonsense. I'm even suspecting that she didn't lose her husband. In fact, she never married. She was just whoring around till she became a mother of two.

Run from single mothers especially as a young man who's still trying to survive. The werey even get male bestie wey she save as Haruna-Love with love emojis.

I'm an introvert person not that social. The truth, I am not too good with women when comes to dating. For years I have been reading different topics on how to date, treat and not to be nice to women here on nairaland. At one time I followed the teachings. I was practically doing all what I was thought here. I saw some level of success with me, but later I stop doing those things. I'm not getting younger. I wanted to be free, be kind and nice to everyone. Ready to settle down with, the woman I can play with, a woman that will respect, not have fear for me. I want to be flexible with whomever i settled with. So went back to my former self.
The reasons am creating a topic today is because I have learnt life lessons with a female neighbor. There is this girl living close to me. I was too nice to this lady though I don't have any intention of dating her because I perceived she was into runs. But I was overly nice to her. I'm kind and sometime gift her money.I found out that im not of a value to her. She only comes around when she is stranded. Once she get the help she wanted she moved. She never care if all is well with me but she always comes to me when she needs help. There is a time I try reaching her through phone calls because it has been I week I saw her. I was shock when she was busing the call and she didn't return the call. From that day I knew the girl didn't rate me at all. I deleted her number and I also heard from someone ,that thesame gir was calling me a fool,mugu for spending for her. She said I don't have the guts to approach her. I didn't feel border for those things she said. After all, right from day one I did not have mind to date her. I only take her as someone that I can relate with. Even if she still comes around I didn't change my behavior towards her. I treat her well.
There is some thing i observed about this girl she has a boyfriend that is into Yahoo stuff. The guy does not send her at all. The guy treat her badly. But the girl loves the guy with her last breath. She will sacrifice for the guy I mean Bleep other men for money to fund this guy. The guy no send her papa. He treats her like animal. There is one day i came back from work in the evening. She knew I was around she came out and greeted me. She was shaking. I asked her what is wrong with her,she said she was not feeling fine. I had to give her money to buy drugs, bought food for her to eat. The boyfriend that has a car didn't show up to her. When the girl get well about 3 days later I heard her communicating with a guy on phone. The guy called her to give her money. She didn't have transport Fare, she came to me, saying i should borrow her 500 naira that when she comes back she will refund. I gave it to her. She went to meet the guy and came back with a pack of take away food. That's how my female neighbor called her boyfriend on phone asking him, if he has eating. The guy replied no, na so girl carry food go give boyfriend make he chop. Omo that night cold catch me. I felt sick. This was the guy that didn't come for, her when she was sick.
I experienced life teachings that day. luckily I got another job in another state relocated .since then this girl won't let me rest with calls.
