Just recently NBC acquired premiership rights in the USA for 250 million dollars and i tink Nigeria gets d rights for 10m dols so judging by ur own reasoning why is USA not paying the same amount as Nigeria. mak una open una brain tink.

Hw dare u use USA charges in comparison wit Nigeria 4 d NBC 2 judge dis matter. Do u tink its all about population? Wat benefit or sense is there when u over charge a larger population wit low per capital earning? USA paid more in dis case nt jst because of her population bt her per capital earning and perhaps other factors. So if u must use this in dis argument, use it wisely

Why they no go blow anyhow against Nigeria, wen una no fall 4 d plot 2 sponsor the tournament tru ambiguous broadcasting rights. The plot seems pre-determined. No referee selected from Nigeria, so where u refuse 2 pay the lump sum 4 d broadcasting rights, d referees will make it difficult 2 win d competition which only carry a paltry sum of over 2m euros. God dey!!
PoliticsRe: Only Lagos Can Survive Without Oil – Fashola by tayejay(m): 1:26pm On Jan 18, 2013

I don't believe the coming together of those parties will deliver Nigeria. It could only jst b a shift of colonialism from one party to another. More like cabal 2 cabal, which more will b like 4 their own selfish interests. What I will consider a real positive merger will b if credible individuals from those parties come together 2 form a big chunk of credible party, then Nigeria will get the change it clamours for

oily+Yoruba:

That's very untrue! Each side will jst only succeed in having corrupt individuals heading each fraction, and mind u the corrupt heads of each fraction will still come 2geda 4 common goals. I think in as much as everyone has a role 2 play, corrupt persons caught shud b made scapegoats, severely punished, perhaps death sentence 2 serve as example 2 others prospective culprits. Additionally, leaders, highly placed individuals should show good examples. Nigerians are good followers

ACN power hungery southerners are supporting them because it only where their stomach lies they think off. That was why Awo betrayed the Igbos, now the Yorubas are ready to betray the south-south by ganging up with useless North that adds no value to this country.

CareerRe: Are Technicians Better Than Engineers In Nigeria? by tayejay(m): 1:45pm On Jan 09, 2013
jechona: Guys please I want you to help me analyse my observations and tell me if technicians are better than engineers in Nigeria.

I have observed that theses days, majority of the contracts and small jobs are being given to technicians and rather than engineers. Some people come up with arguements that engineers are expensive, or are not experts, etc. Even in the ministries of works you will find less than a handfull of engineers, the rest are technicains and OND holders occupying positions that are meant for engineers, and as a result of this, most times when we have problems.

Engineers needs to come out and fight for their rights, we can't find any because we don't have the correct people on those seats. This has given birth to engineers suffering from lack of jobs and even those with jobs are being maltreated and underpaid.

Guys, do you know the sucking part of it all?

This evil is being done by older engineers who do not want to upgrade their knowledge and are afraid of loosing their positions to young and vibrant engineers. It now makes the situation look as if we don't have engineers in Nigeria or they are not capable.

Thank you.

U are on point. Technicians and Engineers hav their clear lines of responsibilities. Normally, technicians are supervised by engineers who possess the general knowledge of d pursued goals or objectives of a task. An un supervised technician may hav d wrk done but incur other damages that may b more costly. I agree with u on the opinion of the older generation of engineers killing the profession, otherwise 2day engineers should hold their solid un-compromised ground in the structural dev. Of d country.

Is it her slurring or her inappropriate use of words you wan talk?
I get television for house sir!
The last I heard live was when she returned from Germany and reporters were asking her questions and her comment..
"My husband love me I am.Some people think i have terminal disease..raider(as pronounced),I am hale and hearty"grin
You'll shake your head hearing her speak.smiley

U have 2 also put in2 consideration that when in front of a crowd, u are more than half intelligent, especially 4 a lot of us who hav stage fright and poor in public speaking. This doesn't usually reveal ones true level of intelligence and articulation.

And the southwest have not been able to deliver 4 PDP in its zones
EducationRe: Nairaland Mathematics Clinic by tayejay(m): 10:41am On Jan 03, 2013
Richiez: nice try bro, although you made some some mistakes especially at the point where you took log of both sides. e.g it ought to be log(x+y)= log5 and not logx + logy = log5. but i must admit, you did a very good job.

here's another approach;

x + y = 5.......(1)
x^x + y^y =31.......(2)

from eqn(1), x=5-y, hence we substitute this value for x in eqn(2).
(5-y)^(5-y) + y^y = 31.......(3)
now, we have reduced the problem to what value of y that must be inserted in eqn (3) to obtain 31.

a thorough look at eqns (1) & (2) shows that the values of x & y must be positive integers within the range 0<x<5 and 0<y<5
clearly, y=3
i.e (5-3)^(5-3) + 3^3
2^2 + 27
4+27=31
now that we have established that y=3, we shall substitute the value of y in eqn(1) to get x
recall that x+y=5
therefore; x+3=5 or x=5-3=2
hence, x=2 when y=3

This solution is more appropriate. Log(x + y) nt = logx + logy, as earlier observed.
The first solution gave same answers with later but applying d approach in another question can b fatal

take dat: I am less concern if he has personal issues with GEJ but all he said was the truth. He has refused to be in bondage so that Truth won't be in prison unlike some hungry self serving groups who only seek relevance to have their stomach filled while those whom they claim to represent continue to live in perpetual bondage!

Really, the presidency should consider his allegations and make amends. He has spoken the truth notwithstanding his personal beef.
