Plz Advise Me

Have NOT being on EBF with Mofe, he takes Nan 1 + breast milk....He doesn't seem satisfied even though he consumes the Nan 1 baby food in 6days using the medium feeding bottle gauged at 125ml.

Mum and MIL are suggesting I introduce him to very light pap mixed with the Nan 1 now that he is exactly 2months but DH said pap doesn't seem nutritious enough and he doesn't even like the sound of the name "pap" He said I should ask which other nutritious food can we introduce Mofe to or if the pap is really good for children.

Here I am asking.....Make una tell me.

DONT GIVE PAP TO A 2MONTH OLD. U cld increase d qty and frequency of d nan he s taking plus BM too. At this age, since u re nt on EBF wot he needs nw s d nan, bm and water. No cereals, no pap.

There s something we call anterior fontanelle. in new borns, it shld b open(patent), and this makes room for d development of d brain. In fact, if its closed at birth, its a very big problem. It closes on its on btwn age 9-18months. It doesn't require all wot pple do to it, eg rubbing nzu etc.

A 6month old can eat adult food including EBA. He can digest it well. @ Mgeey, its OK to gv fufu and EBA. Just try to vary it wt oda meals as suggested here whilst still giving him formulae.

Rashes have nothing to do wt teething. Sure they re not heat rashes? Try rising raving powder.

No age restrictions for internship or residency.

@lovinam, I m nt a lawyer bt from wot I ve learnt abt dis matter, wen a man makes his wife next of kin for eg for his bank acc, it just means if there s any clarifications or so d bank wants to make, its d wife they ll contact. She can't withdraw shishi from d acc without authorization. If a man wants his wife to b able to access his acc, then he shld mk her signatory to his account. I m a signatory to my husbands accts and so can access dem anytime. For d issue of property, its not even enuf for d man to buy property wt d name 'Mr. and Mrs Abcd', for eg. Cos there may b plenty Mrs Abcd out there da cld lay claim on d property.It rather shld be 'Mr. Bello Abdcd and Mrs Bilikisu Abcd'. That way, it's more specific.

@prissyluv, being next of kin doesn't really mean much. It doesn't even mean d woman can lay claim to d land if d man isn't there.
If d man isn't ready to buy d properties in both their names, d woman shld put aside some money and mk some investments of her own.

Breach delivery for a first timer is really not so easy bt is possible. Some drs might allow u to attempt vag delivery first, then if u dont succeed, cs ll b d next option. While others ll ask u to opt for elective cs. Either way,d decision is urs to make. There s actually no room for baby to turn nw as u re already term(except of course by some miracle). Don't b scared of cs, d impt thing s for both u and baby to come out alive and well.

Hi everyone, I just came across this thread and I must say I really love everything that's going on here and the way u help each other with their diff issues... I am 37wks+4 days pregnant, my EDD is jan3 n at my last scan which was 3 days ago my baby's presentation was breech. My doctor is insisting on an elective CS nxt wk so as to avoid emergency CS because according to her, baby cannot turn again at dis stage..I am so confused and I've taken it to God in prayer... Please I need advice on what to do to get baby to turn.... I hope I am welcome here

BritneyStacy, febrile illness isn't good in pregnancy esp at its early stage. Pls go to d hospital. U can register for ANC after ur 2nd missed period.

Thanks ma. It ws d nurse at d clinic tht told me he's underweight. I introduced formula cos he cries a lot. I hardly sleep at night & my bp has been going up and down. I started with frisogold on Monday but was advised to switch to aptamil, so he's taking that now though I still breastfeed very well.
Pls is it normal for him to poo as soon as food gets into his stomach?

Yea, cld b normal. My lo also used to poo wt almost each feed bt it ll pass. Is d qty usu much? or just small? Pls sterilize his feeding utensils well o. Jisike

In other news today's scan said my baby is 33weeks instead of 36 weeks I can't believe this I've cried my eyes out reasons been dat I've been seriously counting down cos d pressure on vjay is getting out of hands.as if that's not enough EDD changed to 2nd February instead of 17th January.not only dat....baby is weighing just 2.2kg despite all d midnight chop chop.

Late scans are not reliable for dating pregnancy. D date calculated from ur LMP s more accurate. For d weight, just keep eating healthy. No need for midnight snacking.There s tym for baby to add a lil more abi u wan born 4.5kg ni?

Prenatal meds do nt stop coughing/spitting. They re meant to help wt ur body's increased demand for nutrients.
