@mitchyy, allow d guy joor. Some women come wt their dh na. Ur dh dey romantic to even want to accompany u sef. Most men ll just provide money and dats it. Bt urs is going d extra mile to gv u emotional support. At least he ll help u carry ur bag etc.

Follow ur DR's directive ma'am. if d baby can withstand induction fyn, if not it ll b cs. Usu wen d baby s in distress, cs may b d best option cos time s of essence. Discuss wt ur dr and kno wots best to b done. try to b calm.D most impt thing s to bring d baby out in d fastest safest means. May God grant u safe delivery.

Welcome on board. U can register for antenatal as soon as u can. The aversion for food is completely normal. its part of d package. Its quite early to hv a bump nw. Have u done a scan yet in this pregnancy? If not, I ll advice u do one. Wishing u happy bumping and safe delivery wen d tym comes.

Ma'am, do some form of family planning as soon as possible. Some pple tk in within 2-3months of giving birth. U can use condom or withdrawal method for d tym being until u decide on an alternative form.

@ rezzy, I think ur friend's problem s more of anxiety/psychological. I don't kno if she has seen an infertility specialist, if kno she shld see one. For how long has she bn trying to conceive? Does she live togeda wt her husband? She shld discard her friend's theory dat d hotness in her stomach is responsible for her inability to conceive. There re lots of questions to ask so she shld see a specialist. Above all, God s d giver of children. Her trust/faith in Him shld not waiver.

Yea, wt spoon. Bt he was fully awake b4 I gv d cereal. I don't wake him to feed. I gv him d cereal wen he s awake.

@tatacherie, sorry abt d heartburn. Stay away from things dat trigger it. Eat a lil at a tym and nt so late at nyt. D glass of milk sm1 suggested works too.
@beedam For weaning ur lo, try tapering it off. Reduce frequency of b.feeding during d day, then gradually stop daytym feeding. Wt tym , u stop nyt feeding. I gave cereals at nyt wen I was weaning and also tried to delay his last meal to just b4 he slept.Wt tym, he stopped waking at nyt.

@tatacherie, good to know u re fyn. For d mat leave, d ideal thing s actually 28days b4 ur EDD. Bt sm pple move theirs to very close to their EDD so they can stay longer after putting to birth. So find out wot d rule is at ur work place. And also consider how strong or nt u re.

@olubankemi, doo. I can imagine how u feel. Pls don't over stress urself. I m in almost same shoes wt u, no help, work plus a toddler, and I mean it wen I say it isn't easy. My dh has bn very wonderful tho esp wt cleaning etc while I do d cooking and odas. If ur dh s too busy to help, u might discuss d option of a nanny wt him U kno, sm1 dat ll come in d morning and go by evening. Also, during d weekends, try to cook in bulk and stock up. My dear, just tk it one day at a tym. Don't gv urself extra pressure jare.

38weeks is okay to give birth. I can bet you'll have your baby within a week or who knows, we should expect New Year Baby from you. All the same, wish you a same delivery and be vigilant.
You can start drinking Ewedu from now on. You know it draws so it helps baby to come out with ease. It's like wetting the ground and one sliding on it.

@pocahuntaz, wot were u given as per ur pcv? As oda mamas hv said apart from ur haematinics, incorporate fruits and veggies into ur diet. Eat boiled eggs too. Recheck after 1month. Ur Dr made it sound 'scary'. I m sure u had glucose in ur urine. Its not really much to worry abt esp if ur bld sugar is normal. Also having same in this preggy and my bld sugar is normal. OGTT normal so I m nt bothered.

U r such a drama queen. Its on d shoulder. I hav taken 3shot already n I'm just 14wks gone. D first too were nt painful bt d last one I took last wk Friday, mehn! It was really painful. Until now I can't bring bring myself 2 feel ok on dat arm. Mind u, I fear both injection n drug pass u but 2 d sake of my baby, I mature by force.

Some pple start putting their babies in their walker as soon as they achieve neck control. So I guess u can put ur baby. Wot do u need d rocker for? 'Affordable' is a relative term. What s ur budget so mamas can kno how to help.

There s a schedule whr u tk 5 doses and u hv life coverage from d DX. U to one, then after 1 month, after 6months, after 1yr, after 1yr. U cld go wt this schedule and b sure to complete it cos any missed dose nullifies d others. In d meantym, if u hv an exposure to d DX, u tk ATS, as soon as possible. Ur baby has started receiving hers if she has started d penta inj. In ur subsequent pregnancy, try close ur eye tk am.

@rofemugiwa, TT is given first dose, then anoda after one month, then after 6months or in d next pregnancy.
@maureensylvia,36% and above is ok. Tho its not dat strict, cld b individualized. A little deviation isn't always a cause for alarm .

Mama Annie, wetin u wan mk we ansa u na. U sef kno d ansa. As u didn't tk d inj, it means u don't hv immunity against tetatnus and u re at a higher risk to contact d dx than sm1 who s covered. U re also not able to pass any antibody to ur baby to protect her.

The value for fasting blood sugar that I have had recently has been fluctuating between 105 and 140. 105 is the lowest I have had.

140 s high. 105 is within normal. Diabetes in pregnancy cld hv some untoward effects on d foetus. U really need to c a Dr for proper control. Oral medications are nt even recommended. It shld b controlled wt insulin prescribed by a Dr. if there s any way we can help, pls do let us kno.

Can't afford to for now. Going through an unexpected very dry spell. The govt hospital here is on strike so has to be private. I have been taking pregnacare. I know my blood sugar is high, trying to manage it via diet. Bp is good. Dunno bout protein .

Pls if ur bld sugar s high, ie u hv diabetes in pregnancy diet alone s nt enuf. Wot was d value d last tym u checked it?
