@fearless07, pls steer clear of herbs during pregnancy biko. Induction/cs aren't bad. They re advances dat God made possible in medicine to help women. All these our mothers and mothers in law that say they carried us for 11months abi 1yr, let dem tell us their LMP mk we confirm jare. Thank God u gv smtym b4 this pregnancy. Hopefully, if d reason for d cs isn't a recurrent one u ll hv a successful vbac.

My experience mamas abeg make ona follow me touch light this Mata. My dr has booked me for cs tomorrow 13th being my edd reason being that am not dilated and my baby is not yet engaged note that I don't have any problem what so ever I am a ftm baby position is okay my pelvic is okay no BP no protein or gestational diabetes ohhhh and my baby is not in distress.i am so confused n down right now advice pls

CS on ur eddd without any complications? I don't agree o. We usually gv grace of say 10-12 days to see if u ll fall into labor, then induce first b4 thinking of cs. Maybe u seek a second opinion, mbok.

@Aim07, how s ur lo nw? pls note that teething does not cause watery stool. I think ur lo must hv picked it from d creche. Y not provide enuf bottles for them, instead of them rewashing and using?

Happy mothering Sunday to all mothers. Congrats to those that have put to bed and happy bumping to the pregnant ones. Please I have a question. I was treated for malaria at 17weeks with lumartem. I was supposed to take 1PT at 20weeks but my doctor said I should wait until my next appointment which is on the 12th of April ( would be 24weeks + 4days then). I want to know if its advisable or safe to take the IPT? Please mama should answer me. I have asked before but only cherrymum answered me. Thanks.

Yes, u can take d IPT as ur Dr said. As long as it b4 36wks, its safe. Of course, first dose shld usu b taken by d tym u feel kicks

Good evening Mama's, my DD has rashes on her face, does any1 have any idea how I can go about treating it, we've used baby tribotan with little or no improvement. She uses Seba med toiletries but the rashes still persist. If any1 can suggest something I can use, I'll be grateful . Cheers!

Depends on d nature of d rash. If its heat rashes, try rising raving powder. it works for me.

Wot was his weight at 6wks, and currently? I ll advice u focus on d breastmilk too. Those supplements may not b necessary. You, eat and rest well too.

The advice given to pregnant women usu, is to eat healthy, and not for 2. Its better to spread out ur meals. little portion per tym and eat more frequently than eat one basin full of food at once. Abt protein specifically causing increased weight gain in foetuses, I seriously doubt that.

Good to hear that. No 2 pregnancies are d same as u already know, so no one can say how soon labor sets in in 2nd pregnancy. It differs wt people as well as wt pregnancy. BT since u re up to 38 wks and having those cramps, I ll say its very close. U ll soon announce ur wonderful BS.

@tatacherie, wow na wa o. Sounds like ur DD was given a sedative or smthg. Heard some creche do dat so d babies won't disturb. hhmm, d diarrhoea issue is nt gud at all o. If they re nt competent there, pls change them o. Or better still if u hv d option of sm1 staying at home (maybe under supervision of ur parents or inlaws or trusted neighbour), or even sm1 dat ll follow u to work, that ll b better. That is if ur office ll permit that. I ll b resuming work on Monday, for nw I m lucky to hv my mil around sha. May God continue to watch over our los for us.Amen!

@Teegali, if u hv an infection it needs to b treated as it cld affect ur baby adversely. I suggest a swab culture and sensitivity shld b done and d appropriate and safest antibiotics prescribed. Don't b scared abt taking antibiotics in pregnancy. There re safe ones. Amoxicillin s safe BT I don't know if a culture was done b4 its prescription.

7 month old can tk glucose. BT first gv d cereal or pap with enuf milk, if ur lo takes it then I don't c any need for d glucose. U start deworming wen a child is 1yr old, then after that 4-6monthly
