Bcg used to b given in d forearm. Dats whr I hv my own scar, its nt entirely strange but its bn stopped a long tym ago. Don't kno ur reason, BT d vaccine shld b given within 2wks of birth. Abt d plastibel tk him bk to d Dr. U don't need to wait till 3rd week. U ve waited long enuf already. Mamas, let's always ask questions wen we go to d hsptl. Most centres will tell u to cm bk if d ring doesn't fall off within 7days.

After d surgery, I was in pains 4 3 days, n d ICU said d baby is nt yet fit 2 b taken outside yet, I only get 2 c him tru d window. Bt thank God 4 2day, I was called n handed ova my lo 2 bf, Wich I did joyously.

Yes EDD was 27th September....He mentioned induction during my last ANC so I tot that was what he would carry out today but after checking me via a scan and also after trying to do a membrane sweep which he couldn't do coz according to him my cervix is tightly closed, he said chances are that the induction would fail so he wouldn't advise it further.

If u trust this Dr, pls go wt wot he s telling u. It s actually d case in sm women. And wen they insist on vaginal delivery, they usu hv prolonged labor and finally hv d said cs. So pls, think it thru, seek good counsel, pray and do what s ryt. Tym s of essence.

Na so my own tk start. Saw show by d following day, then gv birth same day I saw d show. u re most likely going to notice show if it does come cos its smthg u look out for. However, some women see neither show nor water breaking. So, my dear if d pain continues, carry ur bag jejely go hsptl. God ll mk it easy for u.

So today was my ANC and I got news from my Doc that didn't go down well with me. He said baby's head is yet to engage and that my pelvis is too small and also considering my height (Am average height, close to short) hence the baby hasn't engaged coz its a big baby.....I did a scan and baby weighed 4.4kg.....Doc said my best bet is an Elective CS to avoid stories that touch....I wish above all things to have a vaginal birth.

Did I mention my EDD was 27th September??

EDD was 27th? Pls work closely wt ur Dr. U can seek a 2nd opinion tho abt d elective cs, no harm in dat. BT tym s of essence since u re close to 2wks past ur EDD.Did ur Dr mention induction at any point?

u ll just hv to keep putting it in his mouth. Don't gv up. let him watch u eat, then wen u re eating, u playfully put some in his mouth. Over tym, he ll start taking.

Morn mamas in d house, nid clarification pls. For those who gv dia kids food to creche @ what months or age did u start putting food for ur kids to be fed in creche.
Call me paranoid(yea I'll gladly acept cos d fear of choking is real) bt I jst can't put food lik say rice yam etc for dem to feed her @ creche, I'll rather feed her myslf @ home wen I gt bk frm work. So for now we just take cereals, ogi, egg etc to creche.

The nannies at my son's creche re good. I kinda trust dem wt feeding my lo. He didn't actually start adult food on tym. BT wen I was sure he was accepting it at home, I starting packing for him for schl. I cook his food to b soft. softer than ours. I started packing it for him wen he was abt 1yr 6months

The truth is dat just 1 negative mp does not rule out malaria. Ideally, u shld test for malaria up to 3x, wt each abt 8hrs apart. So its actually possible to have negative mp but still have malaria.
That said, how old is ur baby? If u re not comfortable wt wot ur Dr prescribed, u can go to anoda hospital. Since fbc was normal, u may not need d antibiotics. how s s stooling now? Were u given oral zinc and ors?

its nt compulsory. Very normal. some pple don't see until they stop breastfeeding. mine returned after abt 5months

Humm, I don't taste baby's food. It's always irritating to me. For the egg and pap, I learnt it from my aunty.
I mix the raw egg when cooking the pap and also add formula when feeding him.

He takes fish and meat. He doesn't allow me to feed him (rice, indomie and spaghetti.) he turns the plate upside down and start picking them.

If I dare put any other food in his mouth, he will spoil his face and start shaking like someone that wants to have convulsion. .

Babies require a lot of patience. Its OK to allow him play wt food. u cld put little food in a plate and allow him to pick from it. Just mk sure d area s clean. Don't worry abt him getting messy and all dat.It even helps good hand coordination.D fact dat he can pick food and put in his mouth. let it b fun to him. I m sure wt tym he ll eat. Its good to taste baby food o, esp wen they reject it. d pap +crayfish combo probably wasn't tasty to him.

were u able to eat d pap wt crayfish? I m hearing egg wt pap for d first tym, raw egg? Y nt use regular milk? Just pap n milk. For d adult food, just introduce it small small. Wen u eat, put a little in his mouth. if he likes let him squeeze face,lol. Give him fish etc. With tym he ll start taking more

Pls and pls just eat healthy in ur pregnancy(nt for 2). Forget all these extra measures to reduce baby's weight. Stop gluttony eating.

Thank God she no longer has fever. U can gv vit c for d cattarh, and keep her warm. For d fussyness, u can use all these teething toys.It ll help soothe her gums. Mk sure u sterilize well o, and ensure it isn't leaking b4 giving him

My own Tori don change o! Bible say ask and ye shall be giving! I went for scan today my baby weighs 2.42kg and 36cm! Meaning that me weh they thing say i be 34 weeks pregnant this week is now officially 36+3 weeks ! Ozycy jejely put my name for team October! Because my baby don take him hand port already ! I wanna start pineapple feast and tip stimulation, and kpekusing and trekking by Monday next week!
