MojAyo: yes,I think so,different foods like what and what,I just started my baby on pap today,with d way I'm looking at things,I think he is gonna be taking pap with formula cos cerelac re quite expensive,pls tell me which food and which food can I give my baby at 8month,I feel u about baby taking one food(cerelac),I think maybe he is tired of it

there re a variety of things to try out. u can blend fruits, mix wt formular and gv him. u can also buy a diff type of cereal dan cerelac(there re a lot) then gv him adult food too.Just so dat he ll hv different tastes

wen u put d milk, mix it thoroughly so it dissolves well.Dont mk d pap too light, just smwhr btwn light and thick

FINA4804: I am using Enfagrow now 1 sachet is about 426g it has two making 852g in total my baby do not drink milk so I only add to cereal, if your baby is drinking milk you will definitely use more. When I was using Enfamil it also lasts us for one month. How old is your baby

He s 7months and doesnt tk milk too.Smtyms i wonder if i m putting too much in his pap and cereal.Bt since he doesnt tk milk, i just feel dats the way thru wch he wld get d milk.just dont kno

When I switched to Enfamil, it was about 5days...

Aptamil was 900grams; Enfamil was 625g

FINA4804: From experience I make sure it gets to one month because the milk I am using is quit expensive. Like I said if you want to follow instructions it will last for one month.

Try giving him smthg else. He may nt like d cerelac. I noticed my baby does dat too, bt nt wt all foods, so i try to gv more of wot he likes.Babies shld taste different foods, nt just one.

FINA4804: On all milk the instructions is discard after 4weeks, some will say 31days so no matter the milk you must finish it before 1month.
@mumchristbel, so sorry please watch her closely you can take her to the hospital there's nothing bad about that.

I wld like to know ur personal experience.How long does a tin last for u.

Pls go to a gd hsptl and c a dr. wot u re having may just b a symptom of an underlying illness.Encephabol may nt really do much. Wish u d best.

Its nt in our power to say who will live long and who wont. SS is nt a death sentence.She can save herself d pain of childbirth by opting for elective CS.

Go to any pharmacy and ask for 'pregnacare plus'. Add calcium too as someone has said. U can go ahead to register for ANC nw. Its nt too early.At least so dat ur baseline investigations cld b done.

Mama wey ask abt lying baby facedown, d truth s dat medically, it isnt advisable esp for d very younger babies.u can google 'SIDS'. Bt our mothers kp saying nothing dey happen as they also did same to us.

stone07: Hello doctors and mothers in d house.My son of two months plus have been having sleepless nite. During d nite d baby always stretches,push and grunt with deep sound that comes from his throat. He does this in every 5 minutes and this discomfort don't allow my son to sleep in d night. He also does this during d day.
We have seen doctors but all what they said is it is normal that d baby is ok. He does not have temperature but we know he is having discomfort.
Please doctors and mother in the house assist me on this because my wife also can not sleep.

@mama wey gv list of things to buy, u try well well.. even giving prices for diff brands. kudos to u.My contribution to d list- I think its better to buy d smaller cotton wool, cos apart frm using it to clean d navel, i dont think u ll need it again.
I think its better to buy d set of baby bath dat comes wt buckets, bowl, bath, soap dish and poe.
Some of d hangers come wt pegs, mine did.
U can also add milton tablets for sterilizing, its abt 450 for a pack of 28tablets.
I got my baby brush for abt 200naira
Also add nursing bra, disposable pants, breast pads, nursing bags, nite gown

cutiemum: Good morning mummies, i had strong contractions coming thrice in 10 mins with very painful back pain last night. I went to the hospital and i was told that i am 2cm dilated and sent home . The nurses said they admit at 4cm dilation. All night and throughout today i still have the back pain but with mild contractions. I am a first time mum and i am so confused. I don't want to go to the hospital and be sent home again. Pls advice me on what to do. Today is my edd.

y wait till monday.She s already 14 days past her EDD. Most centres ll start d induction after 10days.Dearlier d better.As for d pain, i think she shld focus on d wellbeing of her baby and endure, its all for good.
