okk dear. i undstd u. its nt wrong to double check, dats y God gv us dat instinct as mothers.if d diarrhoea s traced to d drug, den i guess stopping d drug shld help a lot. i pray ur lo gets better dear.Wish u d very best.

Its nt compulsory u use blood tonic wen giving antibiotics.U sound as if u dont hv confidence in ur son's dr. i ope woteva it is u read abt augunentin s frm a reliable site tho.

@vickilafab, if a paediatrician gave ur baby antibiotics for tonsilitis, then pls administer as prescribed.

If u hv d money, and decide to go for it, u cld buy d type dat baby can sleep in even wrn he s a toddler.

Did ur wife do EBF for 6 months? Cos I'm wondering if that could also be d issue.
D pooing thing, how do I handle it? He's gone twice already today. & d colour is darker dan his normal poo. He usually poos once btwn 2 to 5 days.

i dont think d pooing is abnormal? Is it watery? His pooing pattern changed because of d introduction of oda feeds. it ll normalize wt tym.

yea, dats true. i did EBF too and it wasnt easy initially, bt within a few weeks he started eating well. we were 8months ystdday.

@vickilafab, wot i do is to vary his food.If i feel i ve given too much friso, i tk a break for abt 1wk, mayb gv custard, then i resume again. i try nt to let him get used to a particular food.U may tk a break frm d cereal, gv pap and smthg else for some days, then cm bk to friso. there re a wide variety of baby food out there

U cld go for scan @abt 10wks, wen u ll b sure to see d sac anf foetal pole, tho some sonographers might pick it earlier.U can register for ur ANC as frm d 2nd month.Meanwhyl start taking ur prenatals, esp folic acid. All d best dear!

Am 12weeks old and did a scan just resently, realising that my baby's head is not pointing to the pelvic made me scared. The head is rather pointing to my left hand side and the leg to my right. Pls I want to know if it will later change position or remain like that.

I've been following the thread for a while and I've gained quite a lot from reading everyone's input. I'm at 30 weeks and was diagnosed with a low lying placenta or placenta previa. I was told that my option will be a scheduled CS if my placenta doesn't move up as I approach my due date. Has anyone been diagnosed with this before and what can I expect as I approach my due date

Its well wt u my dear.Placenta previa s one of d causes of bleeding in pregnancy.Ur dr s rite, depending on d exact position, u may deliver via v*aginal delivery or cs.Just follow ur dr's directive.D most impt thing s for both u and ur baby to b fine, and God ll grant u dat.Cheers dear.

moderately heaped is OK. My wife uses either tablespoon or my LO's feeding spoon. When she uses LO's spoon, instinct is the key as per d ratio of feed to water & your LO determines how much you prep for him & his preferred texture (thick/light). @8/9mths, my son wouldn't b satisfied till he gets about 14spoons per meal & prefers it moderately thick....so we didn't later stick with d prep table.

14 SPOONS PER MEAL, wow! ur LO dey chop o!Mayb i ll increase my babby's own too. lol

I work and do not know if i have to be on bed rest after the process until i put to bed stay. All these and lots more. Its a safe process, any good gynae consultant can do it.U ll justb on d bedrest imm after d procedure nt thruout d preggy. its usu done after d 1st trimester, when its 'relatively certain d pregnancy ll stay'. D price varies depends on d centre

all those drugs were given by a doc at the teaching hospital but i stoped using it cus it has not helped the catarrh. My baby is preterm but now 3months and i'v never given him water so far

okk.U didnt say how long he has had it for and if there s associated cough.When my baby had catarrh, i used home tgerapy and vitC, didnt gv antibiotics. U cld use mentholatum, rub on his sides and under his nose.Cover him well, bathe him wt water dat is somehw hot(nt too hot to burn him o).Suck out d catarrh , if u can. do this for 2days and tell us how he is.Gv vitC too.And of course, pray for him. its well dear. he ll b fyn

pls doctors in the house i need ur help on how to cure my baby's catarrh, i'v used vitamin c, cefuroxime and silver bird but the catarrh is stiil there. He even finds it diff to sleep at night.

u shldnt start treating catarh wt cefuroxime. hv u been to ur dr? How old s ur baby? how long has he had d catarrh for. any cough? is it catarrh or 'blocked nose'/ noisy breathing?
