yes her weight is 6.4 at 4months.

her weight is within normal for her age. she shld weigh 6.5kg±2@4months. Just ensure ur baby feeds well.And adding formula after 4months isnt wrong @ all

i think its normal. as ur womb, contracts and goes bk to its pre preggy state, u may b having lil drops and even some vague pain in ur tummy.U cld still talk to ur dr tho to rule out any problems

MojAyo are you not the nurse lady? ORS is administered with zinc. Just buy a big eva water and a sachet of ORS then pour in the water n give to your baby. Betterstill talk to ur pead pls.

its actually 1 satchet of ORS to 1litre of water. 1 big eva is 1.5litres, so u ll need to reduce d water to abt d upper label on d bottle.

@7wks, i was still sleeping facedown o.lol. bt u cld start practicing sleeping on ur side sha.abt d vomit, d color cld b as a result of ur nt eating(cos bile didnt c wot to mix wt, hence d greenish color).try eating a little at a tym bt mire frequently. wotever ur body tolerates, u cld tk moreoften.eat plenty fruits and veggies too, tk a lot of water and of course ur prenatals. wish u d best dear.

Hello mamas,please I was told malaria in pregnancy can give the baby jaundice.I'm currently in my 2nd trimester but I've not done any malaria test. Is dre need to do the test and take treatment? Just to be on d safe side or should I jst forget it since i'm not getting any symptoms.

if u dont hv symptons, u most likely do not hv malaria.almost every1 in d tropics ll usu have a little trace of malaria parasite wen tested bt its nt significant.However, pregnant women re usually given med to prevent malaria because of its adverse effect on d foetus(nt necessarily jaundice).Hv u registered for anc?No need to do malaria test if u re nt showing symptoms, rather ask ur dr to gv u prevebtive drug. wish u a smooth ride

Am so hapi to be here, I discoverd dis site last night and I decided to join the happy family. I got married some month ago and to God be the glory am pre now even in my 38weeks but can't wait to see my baby as have been told that someone can have the baby anytime frm 38 weeks.I use to check my pant every seconds to see if there will be any stain or water coming out...lol even if I feel any slite pains , I wil look towards my hospital bag,am 100% ready for the arrival of my baby despite the fact that I use to be very scared wen I tink about the pains someone will go true during labour but I still want to have my baby any moment from now, can't wait to come back here and shear my sweet testimony to you all.

pregnacare contains d required amt of folic acid, u may tk d ferrous cos smtyms d amt in pregnacare may nt b optimal. also add calcium.

The first was vaginal with weight 3.7(female), the second , cs , weight 4.1(male) reason for cs was baby too big and no contraction at 42weeks. I want to know if I am a candidate of VBAC as space between last cs and conception is exactly 12months. Thanks

ur interpregnancy interval
wasnt adequate (shld hv bn 18months). It cld go either way, VBAC or CS.Just register as soon as u can and follo d advice of ur gynae. wish u d best

I've been feeling pain in my nipples as usual since last week and sometimes pain on my lower abdomen but yesterday, i discovered that my pant has been soaked thinkin it was menstration but when i checked my pant, it was fluid(something of yellowish colour). Pls, what do you think is happening?

Read this story and I was laughing and crying at the same time. Thank God for you and congratulations.
Been married and ttc for a year and a half and I'm so frustrated right now. Myself and hubby av been diagnosed so far as ok. Just pray this delay will be over soon. When family members who haven't seen me in a long time see me the first place they look at is my tummy and then they put on this puzzled expression. A few weeks back, one old woman even went as far as asking me what my hubby and I are still waiting for. As if we choose to be without child till now.
Anyway, I will be back soonest to share our testimony in Jesus' name.

my back and one leg is failing me already. im beginning to get home ridden. at this rate by the time im 8 months ill be completely home ridden. sometimes it aches so much that i cry really hard. its hard for me to walk around the house and sometimes when i decide to take small strolls i whimper when walking and people will be wondering if im due already nd just walking round to gear up for labour. but its all good. the lord that gave me this good gift will make it a lot easier for me *wipes tear*

Hello Mamas, i have a question. I'm 8 wks pregnant and had to go to the hospital today because i was having fever and cough. The doctor prescribed fansidar for malaria (though no test was carried out) and benylin with codeine for the cough. Though i rejected the fansidar, he insisted.

Please who has had to treat malaria in the first trimester? what drug did you use? the little research v done on Google says fansidar is not safe during pregnancy.

pls test for malaria first b4 taking any antimalaria.i had fever and cough too arnd 6wks, wen i tested for malaria, it was nt significant. i took d benyllin plus paracetamol. i sugest u try natural methods for d cough first. mamas hv talked abt using honey and lime. tk paracetamol in d meantym till u do a malaria test first. wish u speedy recovery
