DeepSight:Good, I love your answer. Now wouldn't you laugh if you heard that Nigeria is fighting against corruption in let's say Togo? It makes no sense. You don't treat people from other countries like shit and then cry loudest because you claim that Israel is treating people from Palestine like shit. It does not matter if it's your policy or just your culture. You need to first take care of yourself before addressing others. Almost any other country would have been in a better position to address the Israel/Palestine conflict, not South Africa. |
DeepSight:I have addressed your last comments in my initial post but this is a follow-up. Before Trump became a politician, he was the darling of the blacks. His name was in rap songs, he appeared in their movies, and was a friend to the community. Then he joined politics and people like you branded him a racist. Very unfair
|
DeepSight:You call someone a Trumpist and you criticize Trump supporters and you call others racist. To me, you are the one with the problem here. You find it hard to accept those who don't share your opinions. You give them names and make them look bad for no reason. Now state policy is clearly dictated by culture. Now do you agree with the UN report that discrimination against foreign nationals in South Africa has been institutionalised both in government policy and broader South African society? https://www.ohchr.org/en/press-releases/2022/07/south-africa-un-experts-condemn-xenophobic-violence-and-racial |
Lionessza6:Now you see how foolish you are. But then more education for you. Did you know that more whites are killed by blacks than blacks killed by whites yearly in the US? Who do you know if not xenophobia ![]() |
DeepSight:First you are yet to show how the US is racist. I believe it's your opinion and you are entitled to it even though it's wrong. Again, as for Trump, please mention his act of racism. But before you do, here are some things the trump presidency did for blacks. President Trump signed the historic FIRST STEP ACT into law. 90 percent of those who have had their sentences reduced are Black Americans. FIRST STEP ACT shortens mandatory minimum sentence for nonviolent drug crimes. The law allows offenders sentenced under racially motivated mandatory minimums to petition for revaluation President Trump launched the "Ready to Work" Initiative, which helps released prisoners gain meaningful employment. President Trump has proposed the Second Step Act to partner with corporate America to create opportunities for former prisoners to rejoin society. Black Americans are seeing unprecedented levels of economic success with record low unemployment rates, more jobs, and higher incomes. Over 1.4 million more Black Americans have found a job between President Trump's election and February 2020. Black poverty reached a historic low in 2019. President Trump designated 8,760 Opportunity Zones that are projected to spur $100 billion in private investment in minority communities. The Trump administration established a fund to deploy $1 billion in capital funding for minority-owned businesses through the Commerce Department. President Trump called on Congress to pass school choice legislation to expand educational opportunities for all American children, especially those in our nation's inner cities. President Trump's FY 2020 budget called for $500 million in federal funding for school choice, and in 2018 he signed legislation increasing school choice funding by $42 million. The Trump Administration proposed the Education Freedom Scholarships and Opportunity Act. President Trump restored funding and increased investment for Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) by 14 percent. The Trump Administration provided more than $500 million in loans to HBCUs through the Capital Financing Program. President Trump worked with HBCUs to protect $80 million in Title III carryover funding. President Trump signed the FUTURE Act into law, which permanently funds HBCUs and simplifies the FAFSA application. In 2018, President Trump signed a budget deal which forgave more than $300 million in debt owed by four HBCUs impacted by natural disasters and provided $10 million in loan payment deferments for schools that face financial difficulties, including HBCUs. President Trump worked with Congress to lift the ban on Pell Grants on summer classes. Now xenophobia may not be south African policy but it's more dangerous, it's south African culture. |
Lionessza6:I see you are all over the place. Keep making a fool of yourself. But then one serious question for you. Can you google how many blacks have been killed or driven out of any Trump rally? |
Lionessza6:Xenophobia people |
DeepSight:The most respected king in south Africa supports xenophobia. A majority of it's people support xenophobia. Members of government have openly supported xenophobia and nothing happened to them Nigerians are safer in the US your so called capital of racism and in Italy the world's mafia headquarters than in South Africa. We evaluate our citizens in planes. So your comparisons don't cut it. A country known for treating others like shit should not be fighting for people it claims are being treated like shit. |
Lionessza6:I am sure you have noticed that I am taking every other person seriously except you. You are a joke. . |
Lionessza6:This one 8s in pains and following me everywhere. Mr xenophobia ![]() |
Lionessza6:As I said earlier Mr south Africa, allow me to talk with non xenophobic human beings. People like you should be ignored. There are 8 billion people on earth, why should I engage with a xenophobic animal? |
DeepSight:First, the USA is one of the least racist countries in the world. Very wrong comparison. I have lived there so I know. The US remains the first majority-white country to elect a nonwhite president. The US is among the first 5 countries on earth to ban slavery and the only country that fought a civil war to end it. In the US, blacks and whites have the very same rights and privileges. In fact, blacks have more privileges than whites. So please use another example not the USA |
Lionessza6:no one takes you seriously. fix your xenophobia, and then we can hear from you. For now you are wasting your time |
DeepSight:Let me ask you a question. How would you feel if the leader of an armed robbery gang is leading the protest against kidnapping? Would you take him serious? That's how I feel when the world's capital of xenophobia is leading the so called protest against apartheid. |
Lionessza6:I didn't read anything you wrote. I can't waste my time with a south African. I rather spend it discussing with my fellow Nigerians. Please continue with your xenophobia and your hypocrisy. |
DeepSight:You qouted from Desmond Tutu to prove what really? Is it to show that South Africa is not the world's capital of xenophobia or are you saying that anything Tutu says must be right? Please explain your point here because I am not sure what you are attempting to prove. |
DeepSight:Clearly you should learn more history. In the 1950 and 60s Israel was one of the biggest opposition to the apartheid regime in south Africa. Below is a link to educate you on that. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Israel%E2%80%93South_Africa_relations Also when we talk about moral standing, South Africa lacks that. You can't be the world's capital of xenophobia and be expected to be taken seriously. About Israel oppressing the Palestinians, that's your opinion and it is false. The Palestinians have never sought peace and Israel has a right to defend itself. |
Jeans601:Keep questioning other people's mental health since you have no better talking point. |
Jeans601:Anyone not supporting Israel is very sick in the head. Please tell me any war where civilians don't die. In your own Biafran war, 2 million died. I have never seen your post about Nigerian genocide. Bloody hypocrite. |
God1000:You are joking right? |
Lionessza6:So I have never killed or raped anyone in my land. I don't qualify as a tribalist in any shape or form. But you are a sick hypocrite. You are the world's capital of xenophobia yet you virtue signal when it comes to Israel. You kill Zimbabweans, Nigerians, Ghanaians and all other blacks in your land but you are ok fighting for the rights of others in a far away land. South Africa is only a joke. |
DeepSight:The so called south African spiritual experience has not transcended into anything other than hypocrisy. Their experience did not teach them how to show love to other nationalities. Hence the so called love of Palestine is only virtue signaling. I am happy you now see the difference in xenophobia and the way western countries treat migrants. Please don't make such comparison anymore. Now to your last point, why should Nigeria fight or even support the Palestine agitation? First, Nigerians are divided in their support. Some are on camp Israel and others on the Palestine camp. Why should our government take any side that does not reflect the collective desire of it's people? Finally, how will Nigeria justify accusing Israel of genocide for the death of 25k Palestinians when over 2 million people mostly kids were killed in our civil war? |
DeepSight:Please can you explain what you mean by spiritual association? Again, south African xenophobia is in no way akin to the anti-immigration sentiments in many western countries. Please please tell me the western countries where their citizens kill, loot, burn, and rape migrants, both legal and illegal? Please stop compering things that don't relate just to justify your hypocrisy. 1000s of black Africans have been harmed in south African. As a black, you are more safer living in the west than in south Africa. So please enough of this nonsense. |
Lionessza6:Oh you are south African no wonder. The world's capital of xenophobia. ![]() |
DeepSight:It's ironic that you don't see the hypocrisy. The number xenophobic nation is leading a case against Israel. But then, anything against Israel is acceptable to you guys. Leave the young man to make his case. It's better to be funny than to be a hypocrite. |
Cmanforall:Obviously the coach sees them all in training. Aina clearly does not have any creativity. He is strong and wonderful in his defence position but Iwobi's ball distribution skill is next to know on the team. We saw a bit of Yusuf in the last match and there was nothing outstanding. Iwobi is clearly among the 5 best players we have in that team |
Gbadugbakun:He has been one of your best players in this tornament. He is the best in ball distribution and dictating play. No other player in the team has his abilities. The team generally lacks creative players. Iwobi the only one with a good pass and a creative edge |
forgiveness:Oga, how much are they selling for. Now you need me to show you proof because you refused to study for yourself. Now please research on the SPDC. Totalenergies has 10% of it and are selling their 10% . Do your research and then we can discuss like 2 educated people. Find out the following, 1. What's the total oil reserve of the SPDC? 2. What percentage does Total own? 3. How much is Total selling their stake? Hint, you can tell how much total is selling but looking at how much Shell sold off their 30% stake. I am sure this is super complex for you so just leave this for the people that understand. This vid below would help you understand better https://youtu.be/y3enB_J0WCU?si=VihRUZO7B-Sjx2aY |
forgiveness:Oga I would try to educate you but I know you are a block head. Now Total's onshore reserves are over 150 million barrels. At present oil price of about $70 per barrel, the value of their reserves is over 7 billion dollars. Now they sell their facility at less than a billion dollars. I am sure even a block head will understand this simple mathematics. ![]() |
forgiveness:You are the typical Nairaland child. You know very little but are prepared to insult everyone trying to teach you. No company sells off a profitable business at a loss. It's business 101. Total and Shell are selling up their onshore facilities at a big loss. |
pocom16:The idea that the leaders are the same as the people is quite irresponsible. Everyone should be responsible for his actions and not collective blame for the actions of a few. Are you saying that the EFCC should punish every Nigerian of the crimes of their leaders? |
pocom16:I gave you a link but still you wouldn't read. You can't be help. You are too lazy to improve yourself. |

. Why would they kill them at a political rally, when there are so many places where they can gun them down?
