NairalandForumo: The big problem is not just the leaders, Nigerians are not united, our ideologies are not the same, forget the fake unity, Nigerians are not united, any protest that is not about breaking up the country from all regions, I will advise any Igboan to stay out of it.....
The same people you join in protest will later blame you for trying to burn the country because your tribesman lost, the same people will tell you that your tribes can nevee president....
The reason why Tinubu is president today is majorly because if tribalism, same with Buhari.
I tell you even if the protest happens to remove Tinubu from office, watch as fresh fight and tribalism with be the order of the day to pick a new leader, so what is the need?
The country is not united.... I believe Nigerians are united in poverty and hunger. It's not like things are going great in any particular region. |

shoodboi2: Israel is gearing its propaganda as it wants to begin bombing Rafah. Rafah is the last of the so-called "safe areas" Israel would tell Palestinians to go.
Once the Palestinians go there, Israel will claim to have discovered a Hamas tunnel there or rescued a hostage there, and use that as an excuse to begin bombing the Palestinians.
The same Israel continues to bomb hospitals and family houses in Gaza and West Bank, calling them power targets.
Every baby in the images below was killed when israel bombed their family house or hospital. The last baby is even still holding onto the bread he was eating when Israel bombed his house. Every baby in your pics was killed because your good friends Hamas started a war and they use their babies as human shields. |

NairalandForumo: The protest wont solve anything, haven't you learnt from endsars?
Are you protesting to remove Tinubu?
Because Tinubu is not ready to destroy his structure to please Nigerians
Igbos will only get blamed in the end....
Tinubi did not come for governance, you people don't still it, let the people who brought him there do their fight, Igbos will get blamed for joining.... Endsars was one unsuccessful protest. If you thought that one protest was all Nigeria or any county needed, then you are wrong. Nigerians are being enslaved by their leaders. |

There's power in having a productive population. If you know anything about GDP, then you would know that the average British worker is much more productive than the average Chinese. 33 million workers created a GDP of $3 trillion in UK while it took 768 million workers to create a GDP of $18 trillion. Please who is more productive. |

Kundagarten: Our midfield was incredibly bad. -None of them was creative. Strikers are only as good as the supply of balls. The midfield worked very well with our defence. Together, they gave us the best defence of the tornament. But yes, they were not creative, neither was our attack. |

Teejay2033: I disagree. We have one of the best attackers in the tournament. Our problem is the midfield. The attackline wasn't getting adequate supply of balls as it should. Also, the continuous pressure on our defence is an indication of an extremely weak midfield that can't break opponent's attacks. Yes we had the best striker when you judge by club performance but Nigeria scored less than 1.2 goals a match. Our best department was our defence Our midfield was not bad but like our attack, it wasn't creative. But then to be honest, our team was an average team. With the exception of our striker, non of our boys would start in a top 10 premier league team. So let's give it to them. They achieved beyond their ability. |

Catapault: FANTASTIC NEWS.
This is why they say “In every cloud there is a silver lining”.
If it takes poverty and inflation to force us to look inwards as a people instead of depending on foreigners for everything including medicine, like some lost people with no heritage, then more grease to their elbows.
What they MUST do now is standardise, brand, and package the medicine in the right way and market them effectively.
Great university courses in Traditional African Medicine should be established up to doctorate level.
I want to see university-trained DOCTORS of Traditional Nigerian Medicine.
Excellent stuff. Don't you see the danger here? There is about to be an explosion of fake traditional healers. Many are going to consume fake herbal remedies. |

I’m not looking for quick money and stuff,i need something durable that will set me up for life
Life really hard i no wan go back trenches I advise you choose a business which you can start with less than 2 mil. As you learn and understand the biz, you keep adding more money and slowly growing your biz. But then you can start with food storage. Buy egusi, ogbono, dry fish, palm oil , ground nut, yam, dry pepper, grains etc when they are cheap and sell in 3 to 4 months when the price goes double. |

DeepSight: It is not true that they are against only illegal immigrants. That is what they will say but any serious observer knows that the immigration debate not just in the USA but also across Europe is beyond legality. It is more about policy and the desirability of having less rather than more immigrants - whether legal or not. And people like Trump in particular have been well recorded with their many racist statements against the peoples of other countries - "shithole" countries according to him. Who only bedevil them with "rapists" - in his generalization of Mexican immigrants for example.
But seriously - as I said - its not about legality - at a policy level many conservatives in Europe and North America want less immigrants, period.
Now, I am tired of discussing Xenophobia in SA. It is real. And it is bad. And I condemn it.
However the simple point is this. SA does not simply set out randomly to support Palestine. There is a particular history there and it rests in the apartheid history of SA. That special and spiritual link has existed right from the patriarchs' of the Apartheid struggle, such as Mandela and Bishop Tutu.
I cant say more than this. I will drop the discussion at this point. Have a good evening and thanks for your time. What are you talking about? Trump never condemned legal Immigration. Please stick to what we all know and forget the conspiracy theories As for South Africa, let me say it again, They have lost all moral standing. Now it makes no sense. And if the only reason for supporting Palestine is because of some old pact, it's still hypocrisy. And thanks for your time. Let's pray for peace on earth. |
Foreign Affairs › Re: Naledi Pandor Receives Threats After ICJ Genocide Case Against Israel by tctrills: 7:22pm On Feb 10, 2024 |
DeepSight: What you say here would be fair enough if apartheid never existed in SA, which formed the root of SA's historical support for Palestine on account that they could identify with their travails. You seem to continuously dismiss this factor and thats unhelpful because its actually the centre of the matter. Xenophobia in SA is recent compared to the ANC's historical support for Palestine on the ground of Apartheid. When you have lost all moral standing, going back to history means nothing. For now, it's simply hypocrisy. Never forget that Israel was one of the biggest fighters against SA apartheid. But we move pass history. |

DeepSight: It just occurred to me how strange it is for you to support a wall-building anti-immigration Trump and at the same time condemn xenophobia in South Africa.
You are inwardly conflicted. You are the one inwardly conflicted. I fully understand my position. Why will any country want illegal immigrants? I built a wall around my house so I perfectly understand that walls keep out Illigals. Trump never condemned legal immigrants. I hope you understand the difference. Your South African friends were murdering legal immigrants. If you can't see the difference then I don't know what else to tell you, sir |
