Total didn't pullout of Nigeria rather they pulled out due to not wanting to comply with Nigeria ecosystem laws. Shikena.
They are divested to gas. Do you understand?
Now, for those pharmaceutical companies pulling out. They didn't come to manufacture with local contents rather were importing goods here then assembly them in the name of manufacturing.
That's why they couldn't keep up. Comprehend? You are a confused person. You believe that Total would give up a profitable business just out of stubbornness and refusal to clean up the environment? Just so you know, Total is still a major player in the Nigerian offshore sector. Our offshore sector is far more profitable and comes with little to no issues. This is only a business decision. I hope you one day get to own a business so you get to understand how the world works. |

pocom16: You just made a senseless point..
Oil anywhere is highly profitable..
If there is anything driving them away ..it is the bunkery and sabotage by militants..
Government doesn't tamper with their revenue in fact they are completely immune to any economic issues of Nigeria as they sell their crude to the international market only in USD..
The fairly high oil prices guarantees their profits..
They are even the ones who cheat the government by reporting low sales to loot what suppose to go to the government account..
They are all running to offshore where supervision is less and militants can't near them. Meanwhile Oil is not always profitable. You are very ignorant. SoNature: I think it's high time we started taking responsibility for our actions in this part of the world. This blame game will take us nowhere.
I have lived in the (Niger) Delta, worked in oil and gas, and I can tell you a few things about that industry and people:
1. Nigerians, especially ND people, have made life miserable for those companies. You cry that those companies don't give the locals jobs, they ask your CLOs to give jobs to their people and they sell those jobs to the highest bidders.
2. Local people burst their pipelines to steal crude oil. They always say it's their oil. The flow becomes overwhelming, they abandon it and run away. Later, the oil spill destroys the environment, and everyone starts shouting that the oil company should spend billions of dollars to clean up the environment. Very funny.
3. These oil companies want to fix your road, equip your health facilities or schools, your kings tell them to settle them before they do those things. Out of frustration, they abandon it. Tomorrow, you turn around and say they did nothing for the people.
In conclusion, the day we begin to admit that Nigerians are evil people, that's the day we genuinely start making progress as a people. Whatever evil the white man brought upon us today was achieved through our own people, and it can't equate it to what we do to ourselves. You just gave a picture of a lawless and badly managed country. If any other country has the kind of leaders we have in Nigeria, you would get the same outcomes. Don't blame the people, all blame go to the leaders. I bet you, not up to 5% of the people of Niger delta are involved in oil theft. But I am certain that most of our leaders are criminals. |

forgiveness: “We want to divest our share of SPDC, and we are looking to reshape the portfolio. Fundamentally it’s because producing this oil in the Niger Delta is not in line with our (Health, Security and Environmental) policies, it’s a real difficulty,” Patrick Pouyanne,
See them. They didn't take note of the comment above.
The French are not interested in obeying Nigeria laws. They develop these oil wells without taken consideration of the environment. They destroyed the ecosystem will oil spillage and leave like that.
Now that laws are in place to check them, they don't want to continue because they were never interested in keeping the environment in good shape. You take like a child. The only reason the French want out is because business is no longer profitable. Mind you, Totalenergies continue to operate in countries with tougher environmental laws than Nigeria. For businesses, it only boils down to profit. You should be asking, what is making the Nigerian business environment unprofitable and not trying to defend the indefensible. |

The US was not on the ground counting dead Hamas fighters so, your figures are mute and irrelevant.
According to you and your article, Hamas still has a majority of their fighters, so, of what relevance are your dead Hamas fighters? Or you do not know the meaning of majority?

When you retain nearly all your fighters and your weapons and return to a contested area to rule and establish civil authority and to even pay salaries means you won.

When you return to a contested battlefield to install civil authority, deploy police, and pay salaries, it means you are in control, deploying police, establishing law and order, and paying salaries means you are in control.
I think confusion and inability to read, comprehend, and apply elementary logic are your favorite pastimes and maladies. You are really confused here. You are celebrating the fact that Hamas still has 70 to 80% of it's fighters when the have lost 20 to 30 percentage in only 4 months. I am sure that the Hamas members see this as tragic. It's clear indication that Israel is winning. If they keep dying at same rate, Israel would have accomplished it's mission in only 20 months. |

In the article you posted, it clearly stated that Hamas retains a majority of the fighters. Do you not know the meaning of majority, it means they are still largely intact with their weapons to keep fighting for months.
The title of this thread is Hamas returns to Northern Gaza, but you are still asking me for proof? Are you serious or you are just playing dumb?
I posted the caption below, but I guess you missed it of just don't know how to read it.
You are a waste of time. I think you are getting confused here. Yes, if Israel has killed 20-30% of Hamas, it means that Hamas has 70-80% of it's fighters. So yes, they still have majority of their fighters. But if you know anything about war, Lossing 1 in 5 of your soldiers in less than 4 months is very bad. It only indicates that you are losing the war. About Hamas in northern Gaza, I never said Hamas has been eradicated but they do not control northern Gaza as you claim. So stop selling the front page of a paper. Please do yourself some good and read the article. |

Israel is not in control of any Northern Gaza because Hamas is already back to govern the are and it's still sending rockets from the same area into Israel.
This is from your own link, I bet you did not even read what you posted.
Read, comprehend, and stop arguing like a baby. . Do the maths, if on 4 months Hamad has lost 20% of it's fighters, how many fighters would remain in one year? Now ask yourself, who is winning. Meanwhile, Israel has lost 300 soldiers in combat so far. Please can you link to any newspaper or reputable news thats says Hamas is back in control of northern Gaza? Dpharmacist: On the 4th of February every year, the world unites to raise awareness on fundamental cancer issues.
Between 2022 and 2024, the focus of World Cancer Day is to help “Close the cancer gap.” This year marks the third and final year of the campaign.
The theme for this year is “Together, we challenge those in power”. This theme encompasses the global demand for leaders to prioritize and invest in cancer prevention and care and to do more to achieve a just and cancer-free world.
The cancer situation in Africa is disheartening. In the year 2020, approximately 1.1 million new cancer cases occurred on the continent, with around 700 000 deaths. About 50% of new cancer cases in adults in Africa are due to breast, cervical, prostate, colorectal, and liver cancers.
If urgent measures are not taken, cancer mortality in the region is projected to reach about one million deaths per year by 2030. Also, in 20 years, cancer death rates in Africa will overtake the global average of 30%. This is more so because cancer survival rates in the WHO African region currently average 12%, much lower than the average of over 80% in High-Income Countries.

He has something to hide on that matter , and also on other issue such as ISIS. isn't curious that ISIS one of the outmost radical Islamist groups is going thousands of miles away to Iran, Pakistan, Afghanistan to bomb mosques, but never attacked Israel next door ? Isn't curious ISIS militants are attacking the peaceful Christians and secular Africans of Northern Nigeria, Chad, Burkina Faso, Niger whom they see as "infidels ", still ISIS never waged any attack against Israel? They even attack Mozambique and struck some parts of the RDC ( former Zaire) ! Doesn't this ring the bell ? No-one wished they attack Israel, but we question why they don't see the Jews as infidels the way they see a African catholic in Maiduguri, Nigeria. Don't be surprised if ISIS targets South Africa in the upcoming year.
The evidence is cannot provide evidence that it happened. Don't be surprised that Jew funded Hollywood keeps protecting the slave masters and blaming Africans in the slave trade.

With both having their interest sorted out, we can begin to dream of a resolution otherwise, even in 200 years, Israeli-Hamas war will rage on. Forget the Propaganda you see online, it's far more complicated.
Besides, the War between Israel and Hamas didn't start today, it's been on for decades, with breaks. You are not explaining how a relationship with Iran ends this war. Yes we all know the history but how does that end the war. Again, you forgetting than most of the Arab world actually hate Iran. Yes the Israeli/Palestinian fight is very complicated and it's much older than the Israeli/Iranian fight. But to think than Iran is the solution, I wonder how you came to such conclusion. Israel -Hamas war has always been happening with reports of '50000' Hamas terrorists killed. But what happens after months, another Israeli attack and the Cycle continues.
Fact is, it is nearly impossible to 'eliminate Hamas'. Do you know that the only freed Isreali hostages so far are the ones freed during the negotiation? And they were well fed and taken care of? Since last year and Israel has been unable to detect and free these Hostages and you think they are in control?
To me, it is just propaganda. Israel carried out indiscriminate bombing of the City including Schools, Hospitals, Market Places and Mosques yet haven't seen the Hostages while Hamas is still sending Rockets into Isreal, from God knows where....
The only way Israel will completely eliminate Hamas is if they have the Support of Arab nations (Iran inclusive). So long as the arab nations are indifferent or support the Palestinian cause and in extension, Hamas, then it will be hard to defeat Hamas. That's why Israel have been trying to Liken Hamas to ISIS so as to get more support but neighboring Countries aint buying it because Hamas has never attacked thier territory.
