Steep: you are the one Clearly confused here. Adam cannot decide what is good or evil by himself except what God told him. I have repeated it over and over again. Adam had no self awareness of what is good or evil except what God told him. Read my words in context and don't pull a line to confuse yourself.
you pull out a single sentence and twist it. You need to calm down, Adam did not obtain knowledge of Good and Evil from God telling him rather, he obtained it from eating the fruit which is what the bible teaches unless you don't agree with the bible. That you actually believe that Adam acquired the knowledge of good and bad from God telling him and not from eating the fruit shows you do not agree with the bible. The Bible never taught that Adam learned Good and Evil from God telling him. So let's know if you have a problem with the bible's narrative. Also, how would you interpret this scripture; Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit. |

Steep: Is it that difficult to grasped? You Adam does not possess the knowledge of good and evil himself but he knew it was evil to eat from the fruit. A tree bear fruit of itself, God calls it the tree of knowledge of God and evil because anyone that eats the fruit of it will have a self awareness of what good and evil is. Yes of cause nobody that has not sinned even while he or she knows the consequences. Are you listening to yourself? Adam does not possess the knowledge of good and evil himself but he knew it was evil to eat from the fruit. In what world does this statement make any sense? You also say "anyone that eats the fruit of it will have a self-awareness of what good and evil is." So, was Adam self-awareness of good and evil before eating the fruit? You seem to be neither here nor there. Adam either had knowledge of right and wrong or he did not. Where really do you stand sir? You don't need to be controversial, this is so simple. |

Steep: note the word " the man has become like one of us" the knowledge of good and evil is part of God's nature in that he knew what was good or evil by himself. the knowledge of good and evil became part of man's inherent nature" that is what it means man became independent from God.
A two year old does not fully understand his actions unlike a sixteen year old. However, Adam was never like a two year old, he knew eating from that tree would bring death and he ate, so he knew the implications of his action. You seem not to understand the words. God made the statement " the man has become like one of us" after the fruit was eaten. Man was not born with the knowledge of good and evil that was why God used the tense 'Man has become.' it is simple English Man has become... Questions for you; Why did God call it the tree of Knowlege of Good and Evil? Have you never disobeyed God even after reading that the wages of sin is death? |

Munamoqel: By all permutations it mathematical impossible for obi win 23 state .and futher 25 percent in the remaining 11 state .this not emotional calculation but rational .you can do the math your self . Nigeria needs a two party system (dorminate ) to achieve this mathematical possibility ( 23 state ) and 25 percent of 11 . But the obituary/obidient supporter are just too emotional and can reason they are like buhari CPC cult follower that got 12m votes without a win . Stop showing the world your ignorance. At least do some research before posting nonsense. Buhari won 2019 with only 19 states and he did not have up to 25% in the South East. Even if you were correct, both Tinubu and Atiku would also need the same number of states. |

Revelation 20. 12And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. 13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. |

Steep: God is the one who determines what is good and what is evil. God already told Adam what was evil and what was good. So Adam knows something is evil or good only when God told him so however, eating from the tree of knowledge of good and evil means that Adam will no longer be dependent on God in knowing good and evil. The result of this is sin God in his nature is holy, righteous, good, just. God's knowledge of good and evil is in holiness, love and righteous but human beings need to depend on God in other to live his life but however when Adam chose independence he separated himself from God, the result was sin and death.
Outside God is pain, judgment, God himself is life separating yourself from this life is nothing but death. That is what Adam and Eve did when they chose indepence from God by eating the tree of knowledge of good and evil. In summary, God possessing the knowledge of good and evil is fitting because he is God but humans are not God it destroyed them through sin. Anyone that eat from the tree of life becomes morally independent from God, the result is sin and death. You claim that Adam had the knowledge of Good and evil before eating the fruit then, why did God say, "Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil" If Adam had the knowledge of good and evil there would have been no need for the tree or the fruit. Now if you have kids, let's say a 2-year-old who does not have the knowledge of good and evil when they disobey you, would you give them the punishment of a disobedient 16 years old kid? |

And the second evidence is when we see them see the fruit "that it was good to eat".
So, you see, they already had knowledge of good. Knowing something is good to eat had nothing to do with knowledge of Good and Evil. Here is why. If I give my 2 years old boy 2 plates, one containing rice and chicken and the other full of stones, my baby would choose the first. Does my 2 years old boy know good from evil? If you have ever had kids, you would know the answer is no. So stop saying things that are not practical. |

Man was already blessed to have fruits, under The Law/Commandment, "Be Fruitful and multiply and subdue and have dominion" (Genesis 1:28) which got lost because man mursered himself.
But thanks so Noah, (Genesis 9( God Reinstated it, BUT NOW HE DID NOT RE-INSTATE OR RECOMMAND, "SUBDUE AND HAVE DOMINION" Which He amended to "the fear of you and the dread of you...."

How did evil enter the world? Ans; the same way good entered the world. It was not Adam that planted the tree. But by eating the fruit, Adam chose to obtain the knowledge of good and evil, but he also chose death for all mankind. Instead of blaming Adam for bringing death, let us thank him for the Knowledge of Good and evil that makes us like God and let's thank Jesus Christ for overcoming death for all mankind. Because of Adam and Jesus Christ, we have the knowledge of Good and Evil and we would all resurrect to die no more. |

Lukuluku69: You are right. We follow different path. It shows in our mentality and how we see things but here we are living together as neighbors and country men and women.
Man's Law can't fix things, for Man at best is as a crawling baby
And you are the one not getting it. So you know why? You Christians have taken the words of that Noble soul, twist it to fit into thousands of discenting voices and philosophies. So much so, you guys openly align and support what Jesus Father outrightly condemned.
Yes our philosophy is quite different and that is why Tolerance is key See us as a people that won't change what we hold to be true and as we see you as a people given to changes and can't hold on to what you are commanded. . The same Jesus that gave Moses the Law, is the same that annul that Law and gave you guys a new one. No problem ..
He also said his Kingdom is not of this world, yet some of you want to rule in the kingdom that is not of Jesus! Abi? No be juju be thaf?
I thought you guys said Jesus is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow? Why change of mind? He could have come himself the first time instead of sending Moses? Don't you think? If you want us to talk about Jesus and Christianity, we would. As for the Muslim law, we have seen how it is fixing things in Northern Nigeria. The northern sharia states are about the poorest and most unsafe places on earth so no the Islamic laws don't work. Even Saudi Arabia and the other gulf states were very poor and constantly at war in the 1800s and early 1900s. It wasn't Sharia that made them what they are today, It was oil and American companies. Sharia has never improved any nation. If you don't believe, visit Pakistan. |

The same God that inspired Moses is still the God that owns everyone. I repeat in the Kingdom of God (where God's Law is supreme, there is no Freedom of Worship)
It is okay if you guys feel and act as if God made a mistake inspiring those commandments and injuctions.
No matter what you feel about it, it is God's Law and the Muslims are willing are ready to live by it.
So long!
May we all know peace! You are not getting it sir. Your religion and beliefs are different from mine. Your God is different from mine. Jesus Christ the son of God taught us the separation of Church and state. He taught, Render unto Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and unto God the things that are God's. He also made it clear, "My kingdom is not of this world." Jesus Christ was the one that gave Moses the law and when he came, he gave us higher laws. In the Lord's prayer, we say, thy kingdom come. We understand that there is a separation of power. |

It is this issue of Freedom and Compulsion. Like I said and I will repeat again. In a God's Kingdom, there is no freedom of worship. I get it in your God's kingdom, there is no freedom of worship.
