ocnovakmichael: Brother it was not stated specifically but it was infered in the book of Mark
Mark 1:4-5 [4]John did baptize in the wilderness, and preach the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins. [5]And there went out unto him all the land of Judaea, and they of Jerusalem, and were all baptized of him in the river of Jordan, confessing their sins.
Notice that text says, "And there went out unto him all the land of Judaea, and they of Jerusalem, and were all baptized..."
It is plausible and could be infered from that text that that thief was baptized of John before his death on the cross Good. I agree |

Again, my guy, you are of the school of thought that as long as there is grace, you can flaunt the instructions of Christ. Jesus Christ clearly taught that everyone who believes should be baptized, but you are saying it isn't needed. Again, I ask, should we believe you or do we believe Jesus Christ? Judolisco: jesus didn't make it a prerequisite... Who baptised d criminal on d cross? ....or was jesus also lying when he said he'll be in paradise with him? God cannot lie.... A few things here. Let's first check the bible to know if baptism is a prerequisite. John 3:5"Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God Mark 16:16, He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved So, you lied; it is clearly a prerequisite. Now over to the thief. How do you know he was never baptized? I know many kids who were baptized but grew up to be bad. In the gospel of Jesus Christ, we don't discover the truth by guesswork. You don't know if the thief was baptized or not, so stick to what you know. I hope I have answered your questions. Now to my own question. Please, how do you know that the thief was born of the spirit and received the Holy Ghost? |

If you are saved through grace according to your understanding of that verse, then you don't need to be born of the Spirit to be saved, grace with just do it all for you. Secondly, you make Jesus Christ a liar because He said that baptism is a prerequisite for making heaven. Should we believe Jesus Christ or do we believe you? |

femi4: That’s because baptism of the Holy Spirit isn't a physical demonstration
So when did he baptise the thief that was crucified with water?
Baptism of th Yes, I agree with you, it is not physical, even though we have the fruits of the spirit that everyone can see or observe. That's why you don't know if the woman was baptized in the Spirit or not. So just as you don't have any evidence of water baptism, you have none of her being born of the Spirit. Same thing for the thief on the cross. So you would rather argue on the grey areas (the things you don't know). You don't know if the thief or the woman was baptized or if they received the Holy Ghost or not. But you refuse to believe the black and white (the very clear truths). Jesus Christ clearly said that you can't enter His kingdom without baptism. No argument here. Do you see your problem? You argue over things you don't know instead of accepting what you know. |

Baptism is to fulfil all righteousness according to jesus meaning it's not a prerequisite to make heaven....the most important thing is to be born again How do you understand language. Baptism is to fulfill all righteousness, which means that without baptism, righteousness cannot be fulfilled. Even Jesus Christ, with no sin, needed to be baptized to fulfill righteousness. femi4: Baptism of the spirit doesn't need water...what evidence are you looking for Yes, it doesn't need water, so do you have any evidence that she was baptized in the Spirit? The answer is no, you don't know if she was baptized of the Spirit. You assume, but you don't know. Now, let me say something very controversial, I am sure you would not agree with me. Every instruction and commandment Jesus Christ gave us will lead us to the Kingdom of God, and disobedience to any will prevent us from entering the kingdom unless we repent. The instruction to baptize was not just a nice but needless suggestion. It was the word of God to man. We live by every word that proceeded from His mouth. I understand you prefer to look out for people whom you think somehow made it to His kingdom without obeying His words. But me, I rather obey instead of looking for excuses. |

She got saved right there 2 things, you said, no evidence of water baptism but that doesn't mean she did not get baptized just because you did not see any evidence. Again in her story, there was no evidence of baptism of the spirit. So according to your doctrine, one would not need to be born of the spirit because the woman you mentioned showed no evidence of being born of the spirit. Do you now understand how wrong you have been. Let's go back to gospel fundamentals. The Savoir said you cannot enter His kingdom if you are not baptized. Lk 7 : 48 -

49 The other guests began to say among themselves, “Who is this who even forgives sins?”
50 Jesus said to the woman, “Your faith has saved you; go in peace.” Please can you show how these verses have anything to do with our discussion? No need of distractions the question is not if Christ can forgive din, it is if baptism is needed for salvation and according to our Saviour, the answer is capital yes. But to you, the Saviour is wrong. Jesus Christ Himself has no son yet He was baptized to fulfill all righteousness so even with the woman saved from her sin, she still has not fulfilled all righteousness. She most definitely needed baptism to enter the kingdom of God. |

D4gmail1: Stop sharing knowledge about what something you are less knowledgeable about.
Baptism has not spiritual significance in anyway. It is a ritual done in the old days to show submission to a school of taught (What you call admission today). It is usually done by teachers who are accepting new students who wants to learn in the line of their master teacher. This is why John the Baptist baptised. This is why Jesus was baptised because he submited to John's school.
Fast forward to today, Baptism is not longer needed because of way of schooling and learning has changed. We now have admission instead of baptism.
How would you think the creator of the Universe (think of the stars and the far planets beyond us) would care about how some person in a tiny dot called Earth should immerse themself in water before he is one with them? It is the hight of foolishness and delusion. Well, if you believe the words of Jesus Christ, you will have a mighty change of heart. DeepSight: Please pause a minute. You cant be serious. Or there is a real problem here. This is a matter of genetics we are discussing. And to a limited extent, rights, and I will explain that part from a legal angle. But lets start from genetics.
First and foremost, just to be clear no, your kids are never to be denied their FULL rights as Igbos and also their FULL rights as (wherever your wife comes from). Just to let you get that straight. But here is the simple genetics of the matter. And this is science, not emotion:
If a full Yoruba Man marries a Full Chinese Woman, their Child will be half Yoruba and half Chinese by blood/ ancestry. This is incontrovertible. Do you deny this? You cant unless there is something seriously wrong with you. Or are you saying the child will be ONLY Yoruba or ONLY Chinese by blood/ ancestry? Thats utter nonsense. No, he is half Yoruba, half Chinese. Mixed race, if you prefer that term.
Now if he marries a full Indian, their child will be one quarter Yoruba, and one quarter Chinese and half Indian.
Now is that child marries a full Spaniard, their child will be one eighth Yoruba, One eighth Chinese, One Quarter Indian and half Spaniard.
And on and on it goes like that, and this is what I was describing by dilution.
THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING RACIST ABOUT DESCRIBING THIS NATURAL PROCESS WHICH EVERYONE KNOWS UNLESS YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY OFF YOUR R/OCKERS!
if such inter-marriage continues especially over extended periods, the per centage imprint of some ancestors will be so diminished as to be intangible.
For heavens sake when you do DNA Ancestry Tests, they give you percentages of your genetic ancestry in like manner - and what on Earth is racist about that! It looks like you have become utterly emotional about this conversation and your determination to brand every simple thing I say as racist. This is just normal or do you also want to say that the results of DNA Ancestry tests which break down percentages as above are also racist? Wetin dey do you?
Now moving on to the matter of rights. Its a matter of the laws of each country. Most countries limit citizenship up to at least one grand-parent, some go as far as a great grand-parent or two, but hardly any ever goes beyond that. I am sure perhaps only Israel with its right of return laws and perhaps a few others do that. I am talking about citizenship based on ancestry here. There are other types - such as citizenship based on birthplace, naturalization, registration, marriage or even by award. So I trust you understand.
So calm down, your direct kids, even grand kids will always have full legal rights as your descendant. And they should also, from wherever your wife is from, and her parents as well.
I hope you get it now.
Stop throwing tantrums. Oga, come to think of how racist you are becoming. There is beginning to be very little difference between how you sound and how Hitler sounded about race. For someone so obsessed with race, you have become the very thing you claim to fight against. You have become the black Hitler, talking about the dilution of race just as Hitler did. He would be very proud of you. Hitler, like you, believed that mixing with other races would lead to decline. In Mein Kampf, he wrote that all great cultures of the past had perished because the original creative race had become corrupted through mixing with other races. He saw racial purity as a matter of natural law, comparing it to breeding in animals, saying that strong breeds decline when “mixed” with weaker ones. This is what your hatred for the Jews has made you become. |

Dpsychologist: Swipe left. Swipe right. Repeat.
For every one genuine-looking profile on Tinder, you’ll find fifteen more selling something — a fantasy, a body, or a lifestyle. Let’s be honest: what used to be a dating app has quietly evolved into a digital marketplace.
A guy once said, laughing,
“Bro, na hookup site be dating site now.”
And he’s right.
Because these days, “Let’s hang out” usually translates to “Pay to play.” Conversations that used to start with “What’s your favorite movie?” now begin with “What can you offer?”
The romance has been replaced by negotiation. The affection, by transaction. And the connection? Well, that’s usually temporary — gone as soon as the bank alert hits.
Hookup culture has flooded the streets — and the screens — so badly that genuine dating feels like a lost art. Everyone’s performing; few are connecting. You’ll see bios that say “No hookups” but read like price lists in disguise.
It’s a strange new world where beauty is currency, and emotions are collateral. People are no longer dating — they’re bartering.
And yet, no one seems surprised.
Maybe it’s because we all secretly know that the line between “dating” and “deal-making” has long disappeared. What we’re left with is a culture where affection has a price tag and love has become a luxury item few can afford.
So the next time someone says,
“There are no real dating sites anymore…”
Don’t argue. Just smile and ask, “Who did this to us?” Do you want a real relationship!? Don't go searching online. Learn to build and relate with the people you have contact with. Learn to increase your network of people. Make every encourage meaningful and impactful. It's that simple. |

Yes, true for the mere legal contraption called Nigeria.
But false for the many ancient tribes, nations, kingdoms and people which constitute Nigeria.
His point was simple: Israel would not be anything militarily without the backing of the USA. Do you deny that? I don't know where you get your news from but without the military power of the Brits and Americas, Jordan, Saudi, Syria and more wouldn't have ne liberated from the ottoman empire in ww2.
