erico2k2: i will disagree with you on this one,Them lot over there can apply for a Job in Canada, Oz,Europe and if they have the skill set which they don't at the moment, the might be invited for an interview, well can you say the same for teh cert from UNIBEN?
What m trying to say is a foreign degree doesn't guarantee your capability. Most students tend to have this issue of let me just get the certificate then I can start hustling whatever skill I need later on.
To me a foreign certificate isn't an advantage except you're attending a very top university or a school well recognized in a particular area.
Most students are after this certificate issue. Most students operate with the "read to pass" mentality. You read to pass and after the exam what you learnt is gone com'on, that means you just have a certificate to prove you went to school and not that you're a professional.
Therefore don't come here and give excuse on not finding a job. This world is a customer driven economy so find your way.
nemesis2u: wow chicken is costly in china and nigeria
I don't think Chicken is expensive in china. Probably I am used to the exchange rate. A carton of laps cost around 55-60rmb at the morning market and that is less than 10USD during day time it's sure going to be expensive as a single lap goes for around 1USD 6-7rmb so equivalent of a carton will almost be 80-120rmb.
As a foreigner, they will always hike the price with the insinuation that you've got enough money and that you are a newbie.
Gambia crisis: Ecowas 'could send troops' if Jammeh refuses to go
Military intervention in The Gambia is "possible" if President Yahya Jammeh does not step down after having lost elections, the head of the West African regional bloc Ecowas has said.
Greenbuoy: It's a shame that 80% of peeps on this thread are ignoramuses concerning The Military. So because say dem dey tell una sey na importation we dey even on top toothpick matter, una com bili sey na so the thing go?! Y'all should go check out www.nairaland.com/1386870/african-militaries-security-services-strictly, henry240 jteku bidexii deathmachine tdayof and co will give you orgasm by letting you know wassup
I already gave up on military related topics on the front page because comments from my fellow Nigerians shows most of them are just internet warriors who know nothing about how the military works. They have zero ideas about Nigerian Military capabilities.
Some of the best, clearest, most recent evidence comes from the LRO, which has images all the Apollo landing sites in enough detail to, among other things, directly see the descent stages and rovers, show that the patterns of disturbed soil match the mission maps published by NASA in the 1970s, and demonstrate that the flags (rather surprisingly) are still standing. https://img-3.newatlas.com/moonlandings-2.jpg Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin landed on the moon on July 20, 1969. They planted a flag that's still there. They walked around and picked up rocks. Their footprints are still there. They left experiments like the Lunar Laser Ranging RetroReflector (LRRR) experiment that has been used over and over to measure the distance to the moon. It's still there too! Here's a photo of their landing site.
https://www.space.com/images/i/000/015/834/original/apollo-11-moon-landing-site.jpg What ever else you may have read to the contrary is pure BS. The conspiracy theories are all wrong. Apollo 11, 12, 14, 15, 16 and 17 all landed 2 of their 3 crew members on the Moon. All 6 of those crews walked around on the surface and explored for a day or more (only 6 hours for Apollo 11, but hey they were first and NASA was being conservative).
SUMMARY: All of the conspiracy wing-nuts need to just get over this. The Apollo missions were among mankind's greatest accomplishments and they were real. All of it.
For me. To me moon, landing is possible. I don't know where he got his facts from and his excuse on the level of technology available then, I hope he knows back in those years, USSR and US hold enough technology. Most technology in use right now are just innovations, improvement or addons to previous technologies.
Hope he knows that US already developed F111 by 1964 and this is 2016 Nigeria still can't develop a F111 engine. Op is probably looking at things with his Nigerian mind.
MOSTEC: Why Faking It? In order to understand the theories, it is first essential to answer the fundamental question: Why? Faking a moon landing is not a trivial matter; it not only requires massive resources, and technical prowess, but also the trust of a large number of people who would be involved in the moon landing conspiracy. In terms of practicality, attempting such a hoax would only make sense if the reasons behind it were solid enough. Most theorists point at the very Space Race as the reason. During the Cold War, both the United States and the USSR did all they could to outsmart each other, and to demonstrate their technological superiority. The idea of launching rockets and satellites into the space was not only a practical undertaking, but also a very clear demonstration of power. It became quite apparent that the faction who would win the Space Race would win the Cold War.
Truth, not for humanity but show of power as this also enhance both countries military capability.
However, this has been of huge importance to humanity but the reason behind all these technology is to serve as show of power.
“We Africans lack confidence in ourselves,” he lamented, adding that the medicine that he had discovered to have antiretroviral properties is an old medicine which had been in use.
“The only science we did is that we discovered that it has charges – negative and positive and since HIV has positive charges, the MSAMS use its negative charges to attract and destroy HIV,” he said.
He said that HIV/AIDS had remained incurable because of the small size of the virus and immune deficiency it causes hence any anti-retroviral medicine that could effectively tackle the problem must be smaller (nano-particles).
According to him, particles of HIV could be as small as 110nm which was why they easily crossed physiological barriers to ‘hide’ in cells of the brain, bone marrow and testes, which existing antiretroviral medicines with bigger molecules could not reach.
Ezeibe explained: “HIV destroys lymphocytes (immune cells that clear infections from organs that are inaccessible to medicines. So, nothing was known that could terminate its infections (and) for that the infection was said to be in ‘sanctuary’.”
