Vikkie14: Lol... Indeed. Except you are talking of another Osun state and another modakeke. There's not even a SINGLE of it in Iwo, Ila as of now. The one in Mayfair, Ife, had been STATIONED(Left) there since its induction....serving basically as Police post at the roundabout section of Mayfair. There's none of those proforce vehicle in modakeke(maybe you don't know the place), the only place they still stationed one of those vehicles is Lagere simply Because it's where various Banks are sited(and the vehicle deployed is not even proforce). Go to thhe state capital, hardly will you see one, check the Governor's office complex route, the Police Building atPowerline, you won't see any. Iwo was given an armoured Hilux from Proforce, it's been sent back to HQ and replaced with the vehicle in the picture i uploaded earlier. Lol I know all the areas you mentioned. Probably I'm mixing them together sha but I'm sure I have seen one Proforce around Lagere and during my grandpa burial, one Proforce APC was Noticed. I'll ask my dad tho. He once worked at Osun State command. |

nemesis2u: paki**** is cash strapped , country is basically running on loans , all recent military acquisitions r on loans so what QUWA (sourced from flightglobal) says makes sense. They're gifts. Pakistan may be having cash problem but my source says it's a gift. A senior officer who's present in one of the pictures uploaded. |

Vikkie14: You hardly see one these days. Most(if not all) that are deployed "then" had been recalled back by the State HQs. Had beem replaced by the Armoured vehicle below(can't recall the name). Since the deployment of these vehicles, believe me, armed robbers have stopped attacking banks in the state....MAYBE because of it's Size. It's huge you would think it's an MRAP. They're all over Osun State. Alot at Ife, modaikeke. |

Henry240: I can only agree to this if when the JF-17 contract is made public, NAF signed up for 24units. If we don't get good numbers of the JF-17 and stick with the F-7, whether advanced or not, this would be tantamount to moving backwards.
We need to move forward, the F-7s cant move us forward. Even if you put lipstick on a pig, it's still a pig. The lipstick doesn't change that Henry but why nau |

Henry240: If this was a requirement, I'm sure NAF would have done this instead of going for the JF-17.
Although they can, not a requirement. Funds are needed elsewhere. i don't feel the F-7 should just be scrapped anytime soon. |

idupaul: How can a country with 170 million people to protect not have some air superiority fighter or capability..The J17 will clearly still not fit that role ..If Uganda can get the flanker C what is stopping us please . As it is now we don't have an Airforce capable of stopping or intercepting another Airforce ..The J7 can't do that, the Alpha can't do that also . Jf17 is multirole. UPDF flankers do not pose any threat to us. Large RCS = Red flag and not as advanced as her counterparts. |

But with the likes of the dullards at the helms of affairs nothing good will ever come out from Nigeria. Sell arms to a nuclear armed country? Nigerians and our arrogant behavior. |

I had to book a space so this can make front page. To you all saying FRSC should bear arms.
I'll prefer if the Federal Givernment can dispatch NSCDC officials to work with FRSC than issuing firearms to new agencies.
Very soon environmental health officers will be issued riffles. |

Henry240: $40 million a unit. The PRC are willing to sell, the export variant is called the FC-20.
This is my main choice for NAF, not even the JF-17. The J-10 is a competitor to the Eurofighter, Rafale and F-16 block 60.
Not from NTA, no. IS NAF showing any interest? However with the JF17, I don't see us going for another brand soon. Lol.. I added the NTA news my self. |
