Coldie: Nigerians are funny sha, just to bear I dae abroad u guys go through hell. With all the untapped locations in Nigeria with our large market somebody would go to Ghana to go and do petty trading.
If its there law I can't question it, but I hope ECOWAS won't scream blue murder when Nigeria retaliates.
I know many people from Niger republic in PH who own shops and kiosks and engage other petty services but we no send.
There country there rules Goodluck to them, poor countries are always very petty, the fact that Ghanaians are dragging petty trading with immigrants, a low-level business, shows how low these Ghanaians are. If not for Juliet Ibrahim I would think all Ghanaians are not reasonable U see your life, the country law state that any business below 200,000 dollars should be run by Ghanaians. Yet your citizens breaks the law by operating on the business that is meant for Ghanaians. Bro am sorry to tell you that we are not lawless as you guys. |

Christianity Etc › Re: Why Don't Pastors Preach About PAUPER'S TITHE As Prescribed By Scriptures? by techliteup: 9:44pm On Dec 16, 2018 |
JeromeBlack: I'm sure many people reading this have never heard of "pauper's tithe" or "poor tithe". I have gone through many sermons both online and in real life but I have never heard any Nigerian pastor explain this concept.
So, what is pauper's tithe? The pauper's tithe, (Hebrew: מַעְשַׂר עָנִי ma'sar ani), Maseer ani, is a hebrew word taken from the old testament that refers to the tithe that is reserved for the levites and the poor (widows, orphans beggars).
This can be seen in the book of Deuteronomy-
(Deuteronomy 14:28) At the end of three years you shall bring forth all the tithe of your produce in that year, and shall lay it up inside your gates; And the Levite, because he has no part nor inheritance with you, and the stranger, and the orphan, and the widow, who are inside your gates, shall come, and shall eat and be satisfied; that the Lord your God may bless you in all the work of your hand which you do.”
(Deuteronomy 26:12) When you have finished tithing all the tithes of your produce in the third year, the year of the tithe, you shall give them to the Levite, the stranger, the orphan, and the widow, so that they can eat to satiety in your cities.
In modern times, Orthodox Jews give a tenth of their income to charity. Those in Isreal give some of their harvest to the poor. In traditional practice, this pauper's tithe was the third tithe. The first two had to do with church. In modern times, tithing to the poor/charity is more common among jews since there is disagreement to who is a true levite/descendant of levites.
I just want to really ask why Nigerian pastors do not preach about this poor man's tithe? Is it because they are so engrossed in filling their pockets? God go bless u |
