“(If) a young man who just started a job and within six months or a year comes up with a car of N7m to N15m and you clap for him, then you are rewarding corruption.
“So for us as a nation to bring corruption down, it is not just blaming government or blaming the police. but all individuals must frown upon people who have what they are not supposed to have; who live in houses they are not supposed to live in; who drive cars they are not supposed to drive and who wear expensive suits they are not supposed to wear.
“And until Nigerians are able to do this, I don’t think we will get to where we want to go.”

BTW it happened to me too. In fact still happens, Changed chairs a lot to no avail. I could remember one terrible sunday, i have sat on a seat in front of my system 3 days, only having 3-4hrs sleep each day trying to get the project done. On the fourth day (sunday) i woke up but could not move the pain on my spine was better imagined. I litteraly crawled and found the moral strength to crawl into my car and it was a miracle i was able to drive to where i could get medication.

Billionaires: Fashola might be a SAN, but doesnt mean he really understood the NGF by-laws. Now that he has taken time off overbloating contracts and sanitation to read the by-laws, it has dawned on him that he is making a f00l of his SAN decoration.

It is difficult for someone to build suspension bridge at the cost of 29 billion and still remember to read NGF by-laws that states that "Forum Chairman will be chosen by 'consensus' of all parties involved". The Fashola I respected in the first term turned from a technocrat and academic kind of guy to a tribal, 'no-place-for-the-poor', regional political Hitler challenging the Federal Government that gives him 30 billion Naira every 4 weeks.

Sometimes I feel if Fashola think we are not aware where the 30 billion goes every 4 weeks and the extra 40 billion generated from IGR? Its not enough for Amaechi to help them ferry cash in private jet through his conduit, Jerry Rawlings of Ghana and become a rallying point to insult a President who was voted in by majority of Nigerians. By insulting the President, they, by extension insult the decision of majority of Nigerians and Nigerians I discuss with are very upset about these.
