justhelp: if you are so confident that Apc can not win, why don't you allow free and fair election, thus the fear of Apc is the end of Apga.
It's only free and fair when APC wins, right?

Urine: I've listened to Nwoye and Ngige and I'm surprised that they are both saying the same thing.
As much as I don't think pdp is the best we can have in Nigeria, all other parties are bad losers.

It's only PDP I have seen accept defeat. They did it in Edo, Ondo, and some other states where they lost.

tafrica: Some people are hypocrites to my amazement, you claim people shld vote for Ngige by voting for personality and not the party. But many of same people surprisingly criticize those people voting for PDP that why will someone vote for PDP, are you not attacking Nwoye cuz of party in that context?............I believe Anambrans have tested Ngige b4 and they have known what he can do. People shld stop portraying APC people as angels, and as if they are not corrupt also. Every party rigs. If I could remember vividly, ACN distributed Recharge cards with Akeredolu's picture on them prior to Ondo state election last year, what should we call that?
People are right to vote whoever they want, stop seeing anyone that votes for PDP or APGA as being myopic or gullible.
Don't nail me please......I am a yoruba man, just felt concerned why some people so much desperately want APC to rule such that they become abusive towards Non-APC voters.

Naijiria a dara oooooo
Seriously, it is amazing. APC are the worst hypocrites you can imagine. With the same mouth they tell you to vote for Ngige not the party, they also shout down any support for PDP disregarding the candidate from PDP.

When APC won in Lagos, Ogun, Osun, Oyo, Ekiti, Edo, you did not call for his resignation. Jega wasn't a disappointment then?

These folks never seize to amaze! Hypocrites!!!!!

berem: Jega is a very big disappointment. He should be relieved of his job immediately after this election. This is the biggest electoral fraud in the history of Nigeria!
omiobo: I'm totally disappointed in Jega and this nation. Voting on sunday when majority of igbo are catholic member? Mehn! This is crazy!
berem: you dey mind the mofo? Did I bother to reply him? If INEC cannot conduct a credible election in just 21 local government, then we are doomed in this country.
desoul2004: I am joining you to pass a vote of no confidence on Prof. Atahiru Jega for his incompetence in delivering a free & fair election in Anambra State. Only a State is having logistic problem, what if its entire nation?

APC and their funny hypocrites, if they win election it is free and fair, if they loose it was rigged.

When a 'result' is shared they celebrate when it favors APC, when it doesn't it must be fake result.
Very funny people, deceived by their own hypocrisy.

igala1: [s]BREAKING NEWS!

ANAMBRA 2013: Arrested Observers are bonafide and accredited officials – INEC COMMISSIONER

The acclaimed arrested observers who had been released ahead of Anambra elections are bonafide and accredited observers for the upcoming 2013 gubernatorial election coming up in Anambra State.

In a statement released by the INEC Electoral Commissioner of the State; Prof. Onukogu, the arrested observers were released because of their neutrality as bonafide and INEC accredited observers for Anambra gubernatorial elections coming up on Saturday.

Onukogu also warned the mischief makers to stop playing politics with the reality of elections.

Also; Nick Dazang, Head of INEC Publicity Division of the commission has stated that the commission will not take it lightly with anyone that is playing with the intelligence of the personnel of the commission.

He said election would take place in all the 21 local government areas with a total of 1,784,506 registered voters.

For the election, the commission said that the state has a total number of 4,608 polling units and 326 registration areas. Also, Anambra State has 120 Super Registration Centres (RACs) and 6,851 Voting Points.

Dazang said INEC will be deploying 12,622 election officials (permanent and ad hoc) to conduct the election[/s]

You are of course free to associate yourself with any politician in Nigeria and even discredit your opponent for any reason even right or wrong, it's your right and choice, but do it with honesty and quit hiding left and right, quit the silly hate and deception and so on...

You keep shouting hypocrisy, but you are yet to state the so called hypocrisy you keep talking about. Are just running your Dullard mouth just for the heck of it or you just discovered the word hypocrisy and you must insert it into any conversation like a goofball?

You are not anti Yoruba, you just by accident find it easy and convenient to attack anything Yoruba, call Yoruba people derogatory names and nearly all your posts on NL are anti Lagos state, anti Fashola, anti Tinubu, anti Buhari, anti APC and so on.

This is the problem with jokers like you with zero sense of identity and belonging, you hide here and there just to spew your hate, bigotry and insane nonsense.

Why is it so hard for deceptive folks like you to just be yourself? It's the internet, you don't have to hide all over the place like a damn village coward. I say what's on my mind and I don't hide for no man.

Quit the coward routine and be yourself...
The award for bigotry in Nairaland would go to you Eko Ile, Dayokano and some others. Like I said, I'm myself. I didn't deny being anti Tinubu, Buhari and APC. And I stand by that any day.
Don't worry about me much as I am not rooting for any candidate in Anambra. Worry about all the hypocrisy that has kept Ngige continually trying to fight his way to government house using SW propaganda machinery.
Worry about your likes that are the true reason Ngige might loose this election.
Worry about your likes that see nothing good in GEJ's policies even when Nigerians stand to benefit from it.
Worry about your hypocrisy!

I am too way above all that silliness! Infact a little braintease will tell you that I am Pan Nigerian by association

My interest in Anambra is that a party I support has a fantastic brand in an Ngige, same way I rooted for an Olorogun O'tega Emerhor in the Delta Central Bye election and also I am an unrepentant Buhari evangelist for obvious reasons

Whatever that happens between OPC and MASSOB-type members of the yorubas and Igbos is none of my business rather than promote hate and schism,I would rather advocate for Unity and tranquility in our body polity

If it so happens that some people nurse ulterior motives for supporting Ngige then count me out, same way that I will urge Anambrarians to let performance only be tthe criterion that would guide their conscience when thumb printing that ballot
Alright, sorry if I miss you for one of the numerous APC stooges. It is true some folks will support Ngige genuinely but they are rare in Nairaland.

But your support for Buhari for "obvious reasons?"
Anyway this thread is about Ngige and Anambra polls.

sagombugo: The same old well worn out propaganda

If you can't differentiate between the altercation both Yoruba and Igbo ethnic bigots have with each other here leading to the usage of such statement( 'go back to your village' and 'no man's land' stuff) and vis versa AND the fact that APC is a political party which is national in outlook and content hence can't discountenance any part of this country while looking for votes then it say much about the education some people probably have

If you have issues with bigots on both sides of the divide making you people to fight yourselves dirty and to death, then face them and not spoil market for me a Pan-Nigerian

Ngige all the way!
Propaganda ke?
By who?

I am not Ibo I don't care who wins Anambar polls as it does not affect me directly in any way but I will not condone the hypocrisy of APC and their Lagos supporters.
I know you are Yorobah so what's your business with what happens in Anambra. I am sure if I go back some months into your profile I might get several posts where you sang the song "go back to your village".
Why the sudden care?
PoliticsRe: Ngige Leads Other Candidates In Pre-election Poll by TechWalker007: 12:05pm On Nov 09, 2013
The fact that 90% of Ngige's supporters are Yorobahs based in Lagos is enough reason not to vote for Ngige. I can't imagine Ngige's ad on Lagos billboard. Like are you kidding?

The Yorobahs want to help the so called "deportees" choose their governor.
After whisking citizens of Nigeria in the dead of the night to Head Bridge and abandon them, you suddenly care so much about them.
After constantly chanting "go back to your village!"
Yorobahs are now suddenly interested in the village.

PoliticsRe: PDP Has Institutionalised Corruption – Buhari by TechWalker007: 1:31pm On Nov 08, 2013
sagombugo: Declaration of assets is just a tip of the iceberg in the fight against corruption sir!

Moreso you are not correct that it was only GEJ as a public servant who declared his assets

Remember he was 'forced' to do so because Umaru Musa Yar'adua his boss then declared his assets

We all have our idiosyncracies and mannerism at doing things, Ribadu having done his pupillage as a Law Graduate under Chief Gani Fawehinmi who also was his mentor sure took a bit of Gani's activistic body language in his works at EFCC. The same thing you will see in most guys who passed through Gani's chamber like Bamidele Aturu,Malachy Ugwuamadu,Festus Keyamo,Femi Falana,Ebun Adegboruwa,Rotimi Jacobs etc they are always vociferous and effective

But what you don't know is that the Attorney General of the Federation is the person who will signal to the chairman of the EFCC who and who to prosecute judging by the body language of the President

So the war against corruption starts with the President....who has all the files of Highly Placed persons or Politically Exposed Persons on his table or with the AGF. So if the president doesn't want someone prosecuted by the EFCC or ICPC,what he just have to do is simply keep the file and refuse to release it because the EFCC/ICPC always submit their investigation or intelligence report on any person to the President thru the AGF office

The President is next after God,so he is the only person who can initiate the fight against corruption if he so desires!
Buhari was a stalwart in ANPP, they have several states before he formed CPC, they also have Nasarawa state.

Now, can you tell us how he fought corruption in the former ANPP states and now Nasarawa state?
PoliticsRe: PDP Has Institutionalised Corruption – Buhari by TechWalker007: 1:21pm On Nov 08, 2013
sagombugo: No not all PDP governors or even Ministers are corrupt

Also not all APC personages are Saints!

But the branding we normally tag a party or company is a reflection of the summary of what its leadership stand for

PDP under GEJ has shown that he is not gonna fight corruption,so even if Donald Duke,Akpabio(until proven ottherwise),Amaechi,Lamido,Kwakwanso, etc all belonged to PDP....yet their captain the President says he doesn't wanna fight corrupt people cos he doesn't want them to attack him then too bad!

I will not be part of those who will cast blanket aspersion on any group of persons irrespective of my political dislike for that group
I understand that you are not a bigot but you are not helping Buhari.
Quit this blind support already!

For your information, so many things that had been in Nigeria was not brought to the public before GEJ. GEJ's transparency and openness has made sure you and I know what happens with fuel subsidy, and many other wrong system and structures that have been in place for decades.

The so called opposition has thrived under GEJ because of his electoral reforms. The list goes on. But that's not the point here, we are talking about Buhari and him trying to woo the same people he calls corrupt.
PoliticsRe: PDP Has Institutionalised Corruption – Buhari by TechWalker007: 12:39pm On Nov 08, 2013

In trying to exonerate your idol you are just showing him as the CLUELESS man that some have always known him to be.
Gullible indeed.
At least he didn't deny Buhari said so. I want to assume he is not a bigot like many other APC bigots.
PoliticsRe: PDP Has Institutionalised Corruption – Buhari by TechWalker007: 12:36pm On Nov 08, 2013
sagombugo: 1. I agree Buhari might have gullibly said Abacha wasn't corrupt then since he couldn't have been privy to his surreptitious means and ways of fencing Nigeria's money across the sea BUT lately,we are all witnesses to the fact that he refused to allow Abacha's son fly the CPC banner despite his closeness to the Father

There are times you thought you could vouch for someone and latter discover the person was worth it

Abacha's record in public service can't diminish or stain Buhari's! Its only someone given to mischief that will want to lump both together. Even God will not judge us by proxy....every man will bear his own iniquities

2. Tinubu confirmed corrupt politician? Says who? The EFCC,ICPC,SSS,Police,National Intelligence Agencies? Or EVEN the COURTS?

3. Let PDP/GEJ and all those government apparati 'do the needful' by deploying all their arsenal against Tinubu and secure at least a conviction against him then I will join your bandwagon to crucify him but not while he is pressumed innocent until found guilty

Even the Code of Conduct charade the other time made the man even the more popular!

4. Just in the case of Tinubu....let PDP/GEJ bring out facts to say the G7 governors are corrupt then I will believe whatever the Presidency is saying is not more than a witch hunt

Is it now that they are threatening to leave the party that they are now corrupthuh

What has even happened to all the cases of the other past Governors like Alao-Akala,OGD,Orji Uzor Kalu,Boni Haruna,Joshua Dariye,Saminu Turaki,Attahiru Bafarawa and several others?

PDP is sure a party of jokers !!!
1. Buhari gullibly supported Abacha? I'm just hearing that for the first time. For your infromation, Buhari still stand on his words about Abacha till date!

2. I live in Lagos, Tinubu is corrupt but very smart.

3. If PDP and GEJ come for Tinubu today, you will be among the first people to cry blue murder and witch-hunting.

4. Nyako and some of the G7 governors are known corrupt politicians. I agree that PDP has a lot of corrupt folks, my question is why is Buhari and the so called APC progressives wooing them to join?
PoliticsRe: PDP Has Institutionalised Corruption – Buhari by TechWalker007: 11:45am On Nov 08, 2013
sagombugo: Exactement!

The problem is that most youths(not all) who form a bulk of voting populace these days were born during or after Buhari's rule hence were not privy to the sweet/discipline stories of yore that some of us come here to regal them with!

Babangida really democratised corruption from the brown envelope and 10% syndrome of those days which Buhari fought with holy anger. Now we see bribes, corruption demanded and given in billions these days and the youths who really don't know any other alternatives simply keyed in via their own inventions like Scamming,Kidnapping,Armed Robbery,Yahoo yahoo etc

Hence the youths are the ferocious target of the PDP through the use of massive and organised propaganda machinery meant to crush or discredit anyone who is not in their league but for those of us who tasted the ferocity with which Buhari/Idiagbon waged war against corruption (infact he even clamped down on Aliko Dangote's monopoly tendencies at a time) and indisciplined lifestyle down till this present day,we knew better hence can never succumb to the dizzying strategy of using ETHNICITY and RELIGION to polarise us while they laugh at us in the inner sanctum of their palatial mansions

Our voices of providing alternative and dissenting opinions can never be drowned by the 'na you we want' crowd of praise singers who have been fed with the poisoned chalice of ethno-religious bigotry hence must hate anything Hausa,Igbo or Yoruba even SS

I do not care where the president comes from once he has the stamina and stature to confront CORRUPTION-our No1 enemy which Jonathan says is over-blown!
Stop being a joker.

I have some questions:
What is Buhari's stand on Abacha?
Why did Buhari team up with Tinubu, a confirmed corrupt politician?
And why is he wooing corrupt pdp politicians in the likes of Nyako, a confirmed "corrupto"?
PoliticsRe: PDP Has Institutionalised Corruption – Buhari by TechWalker007: 11:43am On Nov 08, 2013
Easyfren :
I don't support corruption but is there any corruption greater than the act of staging a military coup to overthrow a legitimate civilian government? Nigerians may forget so fast but they are very knowledgeable in history. Buhari was part of Sani Abach's government judged by many as the most corrupt government in Nigeria's history. Buhari should rather be begging Nigerians for forgiveness instead of nursing any political ambition. Those who celebrate him are either kids or adults who are blindly partisan or lack good knowledge of Nigerian history. Or is Tinibu he is dining with a man whose hands are not stained with corruption? Again why is he wooing 'corrupt' PDP governors? Buhari is not the man to rescue Nigeria.
Padi mi, only folks living in delusion believe and support Buhari.

Nigeria is still trying to recover money stolen by Abacha who Buhari categorically stated "Abacha is not corrupt".
Who are these people deceiving?

Personally,I do not think tinubu can take over kwara and control it when APC rules. He won't get half the loyalty saraki is getting and this will lead to diversity in ruling in the end. In summary, they can not decamp as Saraki will not have that same influence in APC.

Also, this confirms the G7 governors are not as popular as SW propaganda machinery had painted.

Same problem Nyako will have in Adamawa.
Aliyu too will have issue as IBB is also a force in Niger.
