rezy15: Mr man u must explain the relationship between ASUU and apc today o
The change in demand after majority voted to call off strike and the unrelenting support from APC and their supporters is the relationship.
EducationRe: New Lecturers Resume Work At AAUA To Replace Striking Ones by TechWalker007: 1:42pm On Dec 08, 2013
sambama: With what you just wrote, I doubt if you've seen the four walls of a University. So lecturers collect school fees for academic programmess in the cave you're typing from? Or should dey fund the school from their salaries?
Just go back to bed, you're drunk.
You are exactly what you suggested about me.

I worked closely with lecturers in my days in school and even "taught" my lecturers a lot, so you don't know what you are talking about.
My dealing with these lecturers led to my position on lecturers today.
I was there when many collected "blocking" for grades and projects.
I engaged my lecturers and challenged them for knowledge in their courses. It was so tough that I almost dropped out when it was obvious most of these lecturers have nothing to offer.

I understand there are exceptions but I have helped countless of students with their projects in courses way outside my profession and they nor their lecturers had a clue.

I could go on. but my "beef" on lecturers didn't start because of the current strike. It started back in school.

Lastly, my question has not been answered, what do school managements do with their IGRs?

ilugunboy: Did you start reading this thread from the beginning or you just jumped into the conversation midway without putting things into proper context...? Stop asking me foolish question please!
Jumping into what?

The thread clearly talks about the port in Onitsha, what is your contribution to that? Hate, no?
PoliticsRe: Importers Urge FG To Make Onitsha Port Cargo Destination by TechWalker007: 1:30pm On Dec 08, 2013
ilugunboy: While people like you and your type may wish for that.....there are numerous that admire me....so your opinion count for zero!
Admire you? Seriously?

When I joined the thread all I expected to see was detail of the port in Onitsha.
I was however stunned to see posts from your likes laced with so much hatred.
My position on your likes is that you are the real enemies of Nigeria. You hate to see other places in Nigeria prosper, especially SE.

I on the other hand will celebrate if this is about Lagos or any other SW states.

ilugunboy: Chino...

Mention the rule from 1-21 that I've broken on this thread....you don't need to instigate your broda to silence me here...so that you and your ilk can roam freely here peddling falsehood.
What do you call falsehood?
That they are celebrating the possible completion of a port in Onitsha?
PoliticsRe: Importers Urge FG To Make Onitsha Port Cargo Destination by TechWalker007: 1:26pm On Dec 08, 2013
ilugunboy: Afam....I will report you appropriately if you don't stop hiding comments that are clearly not infringing on any NL rules but on your own tribal mindset.
You are not supposed to be allowed in Nairaland really, your bitterness is beyond reconciliation.
EducationRe: New Lecturers Resume Work At AAUA To Replace Striking Ones by TechWalker007: 1:22pm On Dec 08, 2013
The biggest problem in our Universities and in fact entire education system is Lecturers and Teachers.

Our lecturers and teachers take teaching as business and care less of the Nigerian student.
Only those who didn't go through a university in Nigeria or has a lecturer as close relative can support ASUU.
Another group of supporters is APC.

What has these universities done with their internally generated revenues?
They have all sorts of programmes that they charge hell for; Diploma, Pre-degree, Evening Classes, Part time, Distance learning, Post graduate, and many more. They generate funds from all these and I am yet see the impact on the so-called work environment.

ASUU have always fought for one thing, their pockets, only this time it has been labelled "fighting for the education system."
IMO and experience, they are the biggest problem of our education system.
PoliticsRe: GEJ- Nissan To Build Cars In Nigeria by TechWalker007: 8:40am On Dec 07, 2013
I have always called APC supporters hypocrites and enemies of Nigeria.
They do not wish Nigeria well as long as the progress is not coming from APC.
The sole reason is that their goal is not for Nigeria to do well but that they become the ruling and possibly only party in Nigeria.
See them all over the thread with their wicked hearts!
Like I always say, Nigeria will prosper no matter how hard APC bigots try to frustrate it!

tocineworld: There's no govt without its critics, why jail them if they're saying the truth? Well, I don't support citizens abusing those in power. Let's see how this turn out
You can say the truth without being a nuisance. Read again:

“Anyone who intentionally propagates false information that could threaten the security of the country or that is capable of inciting the general public against the government through electronic message shall be guilty of an offense and upon conviction shall be sentenced to seven years imprisonment or N5 million (fine).”
As long as you don't incite people into violence or propagate false information that threatens the security of the country, you should not have anything to fear.
PoliticsRe: Has Any APC Controlled State Universities Pulled Out From The Strike? by TechWalker007: 4:21pm On Dec 05, 2013
Even LASU that is collecting N250,000 is going on strike.

Isn't it illegal for state universities to join the strike in the first place?
EducationRe: FG Shows Evidence N200bn For ASUU by TechWalker007: 4:17pm On Dec 05, 2013
With the position of APC e-rats, it is possible that the opposition is behind ASUU's strike.

They tried pre and post election violence, it didn't work.
They tried Boko Haram, it failed it it's aim.
They tried subsidy strike, it didn't work.
They have tried other means like blackmailing GEJ's ministers, it hasn't worked.
They tried using Amaechi, it didn't work.
They are using ASUU, it is slowly failing.

What next will they try? huh Just curious.

Orlando Owoh: This is where most of you get it wrong. Yes, FG and ASUU don't lose anything, but the students. Has it occurred to you that it is the students that will benefit more in the long run? Facilities will be upgraded.
So you really think ASUU is fighting for you?

Are you a learner?
EducationRe: FG Shows Evidence N200bn For ASUU by TechWalker007: 4:02pm On Dec 05, 2013
Going hrough the thread, you can easily notice all APC e-rats lining up behind ASUU.

Where was ASUU when Fashola raised fees to N250,000?
Where were all these APC e-rats when Fashola increased school fees of LASU by more than 250% (N250,000) and told those who can not pay to do something else other than school.

ASUU lecturers have no desire for education as they claim, they are simply fighting for more monies.

What have they done with their internally generated funds. At least I know most universities can sustain themselves with internally generated funds alone.
EducationRe: FG Shows Evidence N200bn For ASUU by TechWalker007: 3:58pm On Dec 05, 2013
Sincere 9gerian: Tinubu dogs are ready to give up their life to see this strike continue because of POLITICS, nothing more. I just admire the patience of this president in tolerating all these nonsense.

After the 13 hours meeting with the president, the president proposed to ASUU that they should have an MOU on all the areas agreed by both parties and that the MOU should be signed by both parties. But ASUU leadership refused this proposal but rather said they preferred a letter of comfort from the govt on what govt has offered so they can take the letter to their state branches.

Part of the agreement reached after the 13 hours meeting with president was that ASUU will call off the strike within one week. But over 3 weeks after, the strike has still not been called off and now the same ASUU that rejected an MOU in front of the president has now made MOU one of the reasons it has not called off the strike.

ASUU has failed to call off it strike within one week as they agreed with the president, but ASUU is asking the FG to pay N200 billion which the govt promised to pay this December. Notwithstanding that ASUU failed to keep its side of the agreement, FG has kept its side of paying N200 billion into an account.

See all the first in the ongoing ASUU versus FG face off:

1. GEJ is the first president to sit with ASUU in a negotiation

2. GEJ is the first president who on his own set up a committee to go round and assess the infrastructural decay in our universities. This was called the NEEDS assessment.

3. GEJ is the first political leader to sit with labour unions in a 13-hour meeting.

4. GEJ is the first president who has to release funds before a strike is called off. In the past, once an agreement is reached, labour unions call of their strike.

5. GEJ is the only president that had to make 3 different offers to ASUU and yet the strike has not been called off. The FG committee headed by governor Suswan made the first offer, that was followed by the offer by the vice president of Nigeria and then the last offer was made by the president himself.

Despite all of these efforts, the strike is still on.

So what are the "sins" this president that he has to be treated differently from past presidents? His only "sin" is where he comes from, nothing more. This is very unfortunate for our country.
It is really pathetic what is happening. These guys (APC/Hausa/Fulani born2rule) seem to be ignorant that they are calling seriously for Nigeria's disintegration with their hate for GEJ.

FreeGlobe: fyi only APGA participated in the fraudulent supplementary election. get your facts right.
This is your post from a thread you created:

FreeGlobe: Commissioner for sports in Anambra State, Dr
Edozie Aroh has protested his inability to vote at
his Ifite Agbaja ward in Abatete in the supplementary election held in the state on
Saturday.
Aroh, who arrived the polling unit at 1:30 pm to
vote after he received accreditation, was shocked to see that voting had ended and ballot papers being counted.
Poll officials confronted by Aroh told him that a
certain federal commissioner of INEC, who visited the unit asked that voting be concluded as some accredited voters were not around to cast their votes.
Aroh in his protest said it was wrong for voting to be ended before 4 pm.
He insisted that the action amounted to disenfranchisement as he had only gone home for lunch after receiving accreditation.
Meanwhile, APC claiming that it would boycott the polls, garnered votes in the election.
APC in one of the units in Abatete, Ifite Agbaja
polling unit one, got 16 votes out of the 20 votes
cast, leaving PDP and APGA with two votes each.

http://dailypost.com.ng/2013/11/30/anambra-sports-commissioner-protest-disenfranchisement
So you created a thread where you claimed Anambra People voting for Ngige then came here to announce that APGA was the only party that participated.

You have really lost it. You need help. Take heart.

Day dreaming hypocrite! I know you are not an APC but.t licker but their attitudes have rubbed off on you.

Now you truly believe any poling unit Ngige didn't win was rigged. The one he won is free and fair.

No, INEC did not admit they rigged election.

INEC said a staff "prevented" materials from getting to a certain LGA.
The staff has been arrested and been prosecuted and those materials have been released and was used today so "talk anoda tin".

They were to be used as agents for rigging purpose.

I understand your pain but it is beginning to get into your head.

It is actually the agberos of APC that take comfort and infact won Anambra Elections by landslide on Niaraland.
Also, Anambra people are behind who? And he needed 181 agberos from Osun APC touts to help out with the rigging.
Seems like that's what he banked on? cheesy cheesy cheesy
