Joel3:
I don't understand the fuss about this sim and why it always made front page. if you have a very strong 3G network to it fullest I promise you that you won't need 4G. with strong 3G you can stream and download 1mb or 2mb per seconds. and Airtel is currently trying on that. 3G drain battery not to tall of 4G. the advantage of 4G is mainly on heavy download and nothing more. you are a fish. you only use Internet to chat and download shit movies. there are people who depend on Internet to make a living and use it for business. LTE is the fastest mobile Internet technology at the moment and you can use that for IP telephony and what nots. you can't compare 3g to LTE. That's like comparing MTN's 3g to ipNX fibre optic broadband. |

see the way you post about her "size" her?
she is only twitter posting about "I like him but he is not very tall"
point being don't nobody be perfect.
if you are truly capable of love in it pure natural state you should be able to love someone irrespective of their physical attributes we dislike. Just like how you will love your mom if she was fat, blind, crooked or whatever.
if you know you are not cut out for this, it does not make you a bad person. Just however make sure you don't lead the poor girl on just to shatter her hopes and aspirations someday .
do it now.
but I'll advice, if you find a girl that has only one quality you dislike, learn to live with it man they don't come that often |

Ollyfad: uhmmm....... frank comment bro....dis is one of d worst story presentation av had d misfortune of reading and i only took d pains to read tru bcus u gave me a mention and i will tell u y i said dat. first, d work is totally not edited. u don't type widout editing ur typed work...no one does dat. second, m avin a hard tym dcidin if its prose or drama. third, ur use of d pidgin english does not even as much as portray a good grab of d language. bliv dat bcus i spend 90% of my talking tym speaking pidgin....in fact except m angry, i dont seem to be able to communicate in english. at d beginning of ur work u gave d excuse of being a science student and to me dats no excuse. let me limit dis to nairaland....av read really great stories written by science students. bcus u av made ur passion for writing known by not jst taking d big step of putting pen to paper (sumtin av neva done) and going fuda to update regularly, i wuld give u dis piece of advise..... u cant b a writer if u are not a reader. u can only write after u must av read and even done sum research on wat u want to write and how u want to ryt. i wuld suggest sum authors wit peculiar rytin style on nairaland especially those dat ryt from d first person point of view. read authors lyk larrysun, princesa, kayemjay, frank317, repogirl, mazi omenuko and most especially, d author of african nerd....redmosquito. he also wrote in pidgin and english and he is a trained doctor in case u r wondering how he culd b so gud. u can also read flow stories too especially ibo boy wey like yoruba. it will really hlp u in improving ur writing skill i.e if u r serious abt writing. i hope ur next update will be beta constructed and articulate bcus i cwiuzly bliv ryt now, all u r doing is murdering wat suld av been a really great and adventurous story wit bad presentation. N.B: i hope u will take dis criticism as fair enof and improve on ur writing skill for ur own gud, ur story's gud and d gud of ur audience. especially if u want literature lovers and not story by d moonlight lovers to take u cwiuzly. keep up d courage bro.....every wole soyinka or chinua achebe have a beginning story to tell considering how you yourself lack the proper grammar structure you criticise someone else for not having, your criticism is void and baseless! Jobs/Vacancies › Re: How I Lost A Job Because Of A Customised Facebook Name by TeddyPendergrass(m): 8:29pm On Apr 06, 2016 |
NaLaugh: I don't think the lesson has been learned.
People who intentionally spell words incorrectly to sound "cool," usually end up losing their ability to communicate effectively in business settings. When I look around Nairaland, I notice Nigerians have become the kings of "shorthand" writing.
This wouldn't be too terrible if the "short version" was actually shorter than the correct version. In essence, people just spell as many words as possible in gibberish. e.g typing "anywaiz" instead of "anyways."
Regardless of how prolific you are, constant use of incorrect alternatives WILL affect you. I'm sure you have seen the effect firsthand.
You might think the HR person was being mean or petty, but in reality he made a good call.
However, don't let it get you down. We live and learn (if we are willing). Good luck. I don't think there has been a truer statement than this here on NairaLand. People, young folks looking to be employed especially take for granted the importance of carrying themselves professionally at all times. An individual that types or text like "dis" or "rites" like "diz" has already shot themselves in the foot right from the jump. point is: always present yourself in a responsible light at all times. |

my friend slap yourself. you are a fish. they "specifically love", meaning they would appreciate applications from students from those particular schools. this is a normal requirement and it's nothing special. GE sometimes require applications from students who meet the requirements for entry into MIT's engineering departments and would only consider applications of students who meet these requirements only. it's not a big. don't make a mountain out of a sand castle. |

Christianity Etc › Re: Abducted Muslim Children Forcefully Converted To Christianity In Edo Idp Camp. by TeddyPendergrass(m): 8:53am On Mar 27, 2016 |
freeze001: Anyone comparing this to outright abduction of female christian children for purposes of rape, marriage and forceful conversion must be depraved.
The camp is not government owned or sponsored. It is run by private persons who are Christians, contributing their quota to social care for the needy and displaced persons.
First, there is no special preference for boys or girls unlike d evil pedophiles up north who go for underage girls to defile and destroy. There is no report of abuse of any of the children in this camp. Why would this visiting muslim group expect a private Christian organisation to expend resources in building mosques and promoting islamic doctrines? Do they expect the camp to hire imams and all such to preach n train d children? Whom do they expect to do their dirty jobs for them?
These people are attending to basic needs of shelter, food, clothing and some education for those who have been displaced with no family meanwhile the northern greedy thieves kidnap girls living with their families then someone comes here to compare both?! What a shame!
If they are so concerned about their islamic wellbeing, they should go through the necessary processes of transferring d affected children to idp camps in Borno and Adamawa n co. Hopefully no boko haram attack will reach them there again. They can also build their own muslim camp since they were alarmed that this was owned and run by Christians. I was going to write these points but decided against it because I didn't want to waste my time saying something nobody was going to listen to, you have made the most valid point on this issue. bap!!! |
