Abuse of power has always been and it allegedly happened very close to the first family speaks volumes. Luckily unlike before, this is happening around election time which is why I believe it was hastily resolved but non-APC parties will surely not let it die out and use it as ammo against the ruling party.

I believe the young man is owed an apology from the First Lady if all that was reported in the recent news happened as it was written. Maybe that's what Oga plans on doing man to man.

If the boy was not beaten up, suing him was the right step to take but even that would be thrown out from my perspective. A lot still has to be done in terms of police reform and this is happening despite post-#ENDSARS shows law enforcement has not gotten the memo that there's a Law against Violence Against Persons in Nigeria.

Yes, I actually walked into the bank myself and asked and the CS staff said so. I had initially gotten a text message from them to go to the bank.

After this, I asked them on twitter about it and no update from them yet.

Meanwhile, I contacted GTB and they replied - though late - that they receive all wire payments.

I got to the bank yesterday and was told Access bank is no more accepting Payoneer inflows. I've sent a confirmation message to them on Twitter to know if it is a temporary or permanent policy. Awaiting their reply.

I feel you just entered into a risky situation. Considering that you're in the north and dangerous tools like knives are not too far from reach (you in trying to protect your loves ones from the child molester or your cousin while trying to protect himself from you and you've stated it out in the wind that you could kill him), any similitude to violence should not come up at this stage. Keep your anger in check.

First, call on your father to kick him out as your sisters ain't safe. If there is a reason he's being docile on the matter, let him tell you and you logically break all his points thereafter.

If your father fails you again, contact the child/woman protective services in your locale and see what they can do for you within the ambits of the law. Most likely, they will invite the police on the matter for you. Irrefutable evidence might be needed. Possibly, go around all those condoling adults and have their words on the matter recorded so they can't turn back to lie and protect the boy.

End result, the boy gets chased out or goes to jail. A faraway place preferably to be sure there's no chance of him coming back on a revenge mission against you and yours.

Take note, your father might disown you for going against his wishes but that's a much bearable cost comparable to manslaughter/murder and you not being around to protect your sisters from other predators and I tell you, there are lots of them nowadays.

Lol. Shey you dey wind me ni? I've been on fiver for over half a decade with over 1k orders. "Make another delivery" extends auto complete time automatically. There's no way the client can extend the completion time on his end without going through you by opening a dispute to extend the time. The CS that attended to you might be high or is a noob, or maybe it's you that misunderstood him/her.

No winding here dear.
I have been on Fiverr since 2016 or so and I can say making a delivery after a previous one DOES NOT reset the initial 3 days clearance period. The oddity of that unique case was why I asked CS and that's when they told me the client can update that clearance period from their end.

The Fiverr response below.

Hi Oluwafemi,

My name is Lex, and I understand you would like more information about the new delivery review time extension option. I’m happy to explain more!

Traditionally at Fiverr, buyers have three days after delivery to review the work sent by the seller. If no action is taken by the buyer after an order is delivered, the system automatically marks it as complete, and the safety clearance period begins.

This new feature allows buyers to extend that three-day timeframe to allow more time to review the delivery. Buyers can set up to 5 additional days to review their delivery. Once the additional days are up, the order will automatically be marked as completed unless the buyer accepts the delivery, rejects it, or requests a new extension on the review date.

Normally, it would affect it. Next time you want to make such additional deliveries, submit it as an attachment in the chat area of the order. That way, you don't alter the auto complete time.

Normally it doesn't. The client did an extension on his end. That's what CS told me. Also, deliveries outside the order page could create issues should an argument come up between you and the client. The order page keeps it organized too.

I contacted Fiverr support and was told a buyer can increase the number of verification days which was what happened.

Thanks for the advice

It is easier to make peace than to keep a watch for conflict. Simply approach your Director and explain that your actions were to ensure she has staff that are loyal to their work by giving them a good take-home was your aim as any other way would leave them grumbling and not focus on their work and some might leave. Retraining new staff might not be economical on the long run.

If she settles with you and states that if next time you have an issue with her, you should approach her directly in private instead of arguing with her in public, then all is well.

If she does not say the bolded, just know she is going to be vindictive ongoing.

P.S don't be so load at work about your second biz so you don't get labelled as taking the company's funds to run yours. Also, Oga is Oga. That she is the former Director's daughter does not mean you should look down on her.

The first thing is don't be emotional in pursuing the case as the tenant could get a lawyer that could push your buttons and you misbehave in court.

The litigation fees come from the lawyer and as such he/she should (it varies) put the stated amount into the plea. Other costs include the bailiff costs and so on. Your lawyer would know how to go about it all.
