My best ea prior to this was gotten from me watching a tutorial of myself where I mentioned a concept I ended up using. I will be automating that strategy as well soon.

However, testing, testing, and more testing are needed before deciding on anything in this business.

Of a truth, it is a concept that could be researched. If indeed 'most' end at his SL instead of his TP, he might consider paper trading that and see where it goes. Lots of crazy strategies have crossed my desk.

From look of things, it will start recording negative profit.

what do you do so to maintain your 1:1 RR target, because if you close early, your 50 pips profit target isn't met but most times your 50 pips loss is a guarantee.

A bank created a new ATM card for me and when I got two alerts for card maintenance, I called and they reversed BOTH charges. I guess they didn't want me making noise about it. I mean, you have to physically be there to queue at the bank to activate a new card and then magically, I got a new card fully activated without stress. Before blaming anyone, I too saw "Generals" o. Your post made me check again only to see Colonels. Abi are my eyes playing tricks on me ni?

The easy explanation is at 20% daily returns and a risk of 5% per trade, if your stop loss is 20 pips on each trade, making a net profit of 88 pips at the end of each day for 15 days would have earned you 15 times your starting balance to hit that top position in the demo contest "beat da don".

Take note that more people will join the next demo contest and so the target will have to be higher.

Coming back to this Live Contest and aiming for halfway of 2 weeks trading, if you make 10% daily and compounding following the same process, you should be a prize winner at 2.3 times the starting balance without stress. At 20% daily, you must be on steroids and that gives 6 times the starting balance.

First, we know people don't make as many returns on live contests as they do on demos as they don't risk their accounts as much.

Also, I believe any top rank should have been reached by halfway through the contest.

The top rank in "beat da don" was $142,554.72 (let's just call it $150k) and the contest lasted 6 weeks. This means, that we will hypothetically look at how to get 15 times the starting balance of $10k within just 3 weeks.
