Struck a nerve cheesy.

M off to bed sweetheart.

Dear sweetie teespice,ma'am pls kindly do not take my words to heart, pls trouble not thy sweetself.
I m replying you because I hold you in high esteem.
Nne pls stop troubling thyself.

Kindly leave me and onome matter.

If you truly hold me in "high esteem" as you say, you would do the right thing and apologise. I don't know the back story and I don't care but frankly, you do not mock someone with something as bad as a cryptic pregnancy.

Bear in mind that when you point one finger at someone, four points back at you.

Have a good night.

Ahnie,

If you have had issues with waistbead before now, it is really none of my business but you don't mock someone when the chips are down. Cryptic pregnancy is not what you use to mock someone else.

Its really baffling and shocking that you of all people who I am sure knows what it feels like to be bullied is doing the same thing to someone else. My omo is omoed.

Apologise to this lady please. This trolling you are doing is in very bad taste. You know what I mean.

He can't do that in bold because that would violate the first. Either way, he would first need to dissolve his first before getting a second. undecided

A man married to a woman under Native law and custom can marry as many wives as he so desires.

Under the act, he cannot marry more than one. Doing that amounts to bigamy.

If he must marry another woman under the act, the previous marriage has to be dissolved and the decree dissolving the marriage is made absolute after 90 days.
Celebrities / Re: May Sues Yul Edochie And His Second Wife For Adultery, Demands N100M by Teespice(f): 8:10pm On Aug 02, 2023
The headline is quite misleading.

In divorce proceedings especially where adultery is alleged, there are two respondents that is the person whom the alleged adultery was committed with. (In this instance, Yul and Judy are the two respondents.) If this is proved successfully, damages in that amount May is requesting for will be awarded to her or less. If May can prove that the adultery was committed during the pendency of the marriage, very good too.

If Yul married Judy under the act without legally dissolving the marriage between him and May, he would be seen to have committed bigamy punishable with seven years imprisonment under the criminal code. Adultery is a crime under the Penal Code of the Northern states of Nigeria and is not recognised as a crime in the southern part of Nigeria.

At best, Yul can only marry Judy under Native law and custom which I am guessing he has already done.

Matrimonlal Law aside, its good as May has filed for divorce. Let everybody move on. For those of you hailing Yul, I have nothing to say. Everyone has an opinion till it actually happens to you expressing the opinion or to someone close to home.

1. Do you struggle with your emotions or you are a hard person?

Answering this question isn't really that simple because it depends on what I'm dealing with.
I'm a hard person who hardly show emotions but can empathize with others. I think I become a bit softer during my ovulation/period days, after that, Factory reset! grin

Crying and whining really doesn't solve anything.

2. Describe your perfect day.

a). A perfect day for me will be having my body moisturized, having a book to read, soft pop music in the background, dark room and sipping any of my favourite drink.

b). Going out with friends and laughing to my heart's content.

c). When the outfit planning I have in my head actually becomes a reality and the outfit suits me nicely.

I tag XXII , Teespice , ahnie

For the first question, i struggle with my emotions sometimes. My head is saying one thing and my heart is saying another. I am not a hard person per se. I know how to cry, go through the motions, feel what I am feeling. Once that phase passes, I keep it moving.

For the second question, my day is made when I achieve all if not 90% of what I set out to do that day. Could be office work, personal errands, that phone call I have been postponing.

Reading that book, watching old nollywood movies on youtube and watching crime stories on investigation discovery makes my day bliss.

People even pay money on how to stay elegant. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Bottom line of what everyone has said so far is being true to oneself and it totally makes sense that we all agree on that.

Thank you so much for your response, Nia. kiss

They call it finishing school. Zeelicious foods even does a segment called Winnie's school of elegance.

To the topic at hand, I believe in staying true to myself. Damsel in distress or not, I am not afraid to ask for help when I need to. The highest I would get is a no and I would never be resentful of who tells me No because they have their reasons for declining to help.

That said, it gets tiring when you are being referred to as "strong". I don't want to be strong biko. I can't be strong at the work place and then still come to my happy place and be acting " strong". There are days I want to vulnerable but when you think of the fact that there are people who would want to take advantage, you will be left with no choice but to keep pretending which isn't good because for how long will one continue to pretend.

Las las, do you...everyone will adjust accordingly.

Romance / Re: Why I'm Scared To Get Married by Teespice(f): 4:05pm On May 17, 2023
You said you are scared to get married abi?

Please don't bother getting married...that way, you won't go before your appointed time simply because you are worrying over the actions of one girl whereas you have the ones for chop and clean mouth.

They are your options according to what I have seen so far.

Cheers.

Folake4u, I think we should gist tomorrow about that Twitter thread you made a commentary on.

🀣🀣🀣🀣🀣🀣🀣🀣🀣

I have been reading the beautiful stories and all of a sudden it struck me!

Where are the gender wars?
The "fear women" and gender that betrayed Jesus, lmao??

Are these people still the same people 'fighting' online?

There was not a single trace of all the usual negativity and such that usually permeates men/women discussions online.

Bruh, men and women are still linking up, doing shit and getting together FOREVER.

Wahala for who dey listen to online relationship gurus o. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

We really really are unavoidable and cannot do without each other πŸ₯².

I mean, sure shit happens, and all of those people likely have one or two unpleasant love experiences if they were to share, but babes, I loveeee that the beautiful, pure, wholesome happy endings are being shared β€β€πŸ’š.

I feel it is necessary, atp.

That Twitter thread made me blush like a lovestruck puppy. See beautiful stories nau.

As for those who give relationship advice/nuggets, take what you can apply to your situation and discard the rest. You are the one wearing the shoes and knows where it is pinching you.

Lastly, Nairaland is not the place to get unbiased advice when it comes to relationships.

God bless the moderator for the title of this thread. That was the reason I opened it in the first place.

Anybody paying attention to what these alpha mails post online is doing a great disservice to himself. It is only on Nairaland that women are vilified daily, yet every weekend, there is traffic because of weddings. Let us not talk of over 500 weddings that Ikoyi Registry conducts daily.

If una like, no get sense this year. Continue following the teachings of someone who isn't practising what he preaches.
