I thought I was the only one who felt it is odd to thank my boss for paying salary that I worked hard for. |
cococandy:Thank you nwanne. |
Spaghetti and peppered chicken. I didn't make it though.
|
Why not preach this on the ashawo thread and hear what they have to say. |
cococandy:Your second paragraph is the reason I laughed going through the quality women thread. It is only on Nairaland that a woman in her thirties is an anathema and should not be touched with a long pole. Let's not talk about the other false narratives of how she was choosy in her twenties and have bleeped her life and destiny away. Reasons I barely comment on threads of that nature. What's the point arguing, going back and forth with people whose twisted minds are made up about the lies they tell themselves. |
cococandy:Me too ooo. This one na late night gbas gbos. |
castro69:My dear, I dey very calm. Concerning your second paragraph, that one na story for another day. Las las, the breakfast will reach those involved. Trust your day is going okay? |
Later na their type go come LinkedIn begin talk "we were honoured to be a part of the team that advised the federal Government on the 130 Million dollar negotiations with bla bla bla" Smh. |
Ever since I read her statement, I have been seething in anger. So the Rules of Professional Conduct is meant for toothless lawyers who do not have affluent employers and parents abi. Someone was debarred for an offence less than what this girl committed and it was upturned by the Supreme Court. All of a sudden, LPDC is mute because the man involved is the chairman of the body of benchers. RPC in the mud....its time for me to do TV and radio adverts advertising my services and bragging about my success rate so far. Rubbish. |
descarado:No substitute for iru. You can omit it. |
descarado:Thank you so much. Ingredients: Fresh tomatoes (use if you do not like the stew being spicy) Shombo Tatashe A lot of onions Fresh pepper Bleached palm oil Plenty ground crayfish Stock cubes, salt Kponmo and eggs (optional) Offals ( you can use goat meat or beef) Iru Bleach palm oil on low heat and keep aside Boil eggs Wash, marinate and boil offals till very tender. Do same with the kponmo. Rough blend tomatoes, onions, pepper, tatashe and shombo. Boil same till the water content is completely dried Blend crayfish and keep aside When you must have finished prepping your ingredients. Into the pot which has the bleached palm oil, add a bit of the ground crayfish, iru and already boiled kponmo. Allow to fry for few minutes. Add the already boiled offals and allow to fry as well. Add the already boiled pepper mix and stir very well. Allow to fry for say ten minutes or more before adding the stock from the offals. Reduce the heat and allow to boil for several minutes. The oil by this time should be floating on top of the pot. Add the remaining grounded crayfish, stock cubes and salt. Stir once more and add the boiled eggs. Cover and allow to simmer on low heat for few minutes. Turn off the heat and your ofada stew is ready. I hope this helps. |
Ofada Stew with Plenty Obstacles.

blessbunmi:First of all, whisk the bean paste in such a way that it incorporates air. Secondly, the oil used for frying should not be too hot and don't put your bean paste too early. It will soak a lot of oil before it gets done. Lastly, monitor it constantly so that you get something close if not better than the Akara I made. |
ahnie:Thank you mama. |
Breakfast. Am I the only one who doesn’t like Akara with Pap or Oats. Give me Akara with bread and water and I am good to go.
|
Bon Appetite.

Abfinest007:Your prophecy has come to pass. Twale baba. |
Rest in peace beautiful one. |
Stargurl20:In all honesty, your line of thinking is not good. I was once like you. Thinking that as a "good and unselfish" person, I would be treated the same way but I became at ease the moment I realised that what pays is being true to yourself. Even if you do not get to benefit from it in the long run, the peace of mind you get is second to none. If you change, people will easily see you for what you really are and will stay far away, after all who wants to be with someone who is that unstable character wise. I am not just talking about romantic liaisons but friendships and relationships in your office, church and any other place where you get to be around your acquaintances. |
Are you being a good girl because you want to be one or you are expecting to reap the benefits of being a good girl? |
daddytime:I respect those chefs that compete on chopped. They give them weird and tough ingredients to cook with and to plate within 20 to 30 minutes. |
