barcanista: You are not sounding intelligent at all. You mean my "co-traveller" opened a "fake" profile with 500+ connections? Wow... Did my "co-traveller" also faked the July 1995 founding date of Aisha's Buhari's spa? How smart does that sound?
Was the Spa established in July 1995 or not? Was the Spa established 3 months after Buhari was dashed the PTF Chairmanship or not? The subject is not the linkedin profile, but the date of the Spa establishment. I don't care about what she does on Linkedin... if you are so hell bent on knowing the exact date she opened her spa then go do a company search with the cac. a linkedin account can be faked. you are seriously doing a poor job at being an oppostiton. I wonder what will happen when it is three years down the line. you need to take that three month course lai mohammed talked about. |

Timbuktou: Abeg, get lost. I just used you logic against you. Simple. Feel free to seek happiness wherever you please, but you do not determine which route is the purveyor of a healthy self-esteem, Teespice. What logic did you use against me? Absolutely no need going back n forth with you. I have made my points very clear. So have you. Get off my case. |

Timbuktou: I'm back because you called me. Isn't that obvious?
You lack self-esteem for basing your happiness on your. proposedcareer. You don't even have a career yet. So, no happiness till then? Smh I lack self esteem. I need a man to be happy. That's what you want to hear abi. Oya go n rest. |
Family › Re: Things Your Fiancé/ husband Is Better Off Not Knowing. by Teespice(f): 11:34am On May 29, 2015 |
Timbuktou: God must have the lowest self-esteem, then. Was he not sad that humans became degenerate and left the path he laid for them? Did he not wipe them out and try to restart the race? Did he not send himself to die to redeem them? All for his happiness?
I have dared you to forego marriage if you truly feel that you won't let it's success or not affect your happiness. Go after your goals and all but leave marriage out of it
I see you coyly mention 'a man' but no kids. Pray tell, wouldd you be fine having kids no father-figure? If so, you're a bloody hypocrite. You will attach your happiness to your kids but not their father? Teespice, your line of arguement is offensive. But I forgive you. I thought you said you were done. Why come back. I am no hypocrite. So what should I hinge my happiness on if not my proposed career and what not. My line of argument aint offensive. But then I don't need your forgiveness cos I haven't seen what I said that is offensive. With marriage comes kids which would be raised by both parents. I don't have to mention it before it is made obvious. Na wa oooo. |

if happiness is relative, why then should it matter if her happiness is not with her husband and her children
Dumbo I swear to God, if I tie my happiness to a man, then it means I have low self esteem. Meaning that I need a man, ring and marriage to be happy and fulfilled. There is nothing I won't hear on this nairaland. |

Timbuktou: 1. Oh, absolutely.
2. Good
3. Indeed.
4. Where is her happiness if not in her home? Will she be happy when she leaves her husband and children? If she had better options, she would leave in a heartbeat.
5. Good
6. Then why bother getting married. Teespice, I dare you to not get married. Btw, happiness is relative. You will find out that happiness is, indeed, relative
We're done here. Your kind believe that marriage is an automatic ticket to happiness. So much for happiness. I guess I am also done s well. |
Family › Re: Things Your Fiancé/ husband Is Better Off Not Knowing. by Teespice(f): 10:33am On May 29, 2015 |
Timbuktou: 1. Then that's her punishment for being wayward in the first place, isn't it? She would be best served living a virtuous life. It's no man's responsibility to harbour a slut. If she wants to have stable relationships, she better come with a clean record.
2. And neither should they. What's the point in subsidising a slut's past. She has given her best to others and now wants to come and give her husband, who should have had her best, the chaff? God forbid.
3. Oh, we do understand what OP is saying. We just don't buy it, it's total bvllshit.
4. The woman "putting many things into consideration to forgive" is not without selfishness, mind you. These things she considers are; where to start from if she leaves, the kids, will she ever get such a good man as this one who's only flaw was playing away, etc?
5. Good point.
6. You will find these are empty in the long run without a family of your own.
Good luck. 1. should what you said be applied to a man whose past is rather ugly. are they not also entitled to have a clean record as well. 2. which is why I said that if a man is not comfortable he should take a walk and look for that which is " perfect". 3. your opinion. 4. her staying to fix her marriage is not borne out of selfishness. if she were self centered, she would leave because her happiness is paramount. 5. nothing to say. 6. You can still be single and develop yourself. but unfortunately, marriage is seen as a very big deal in the society of today. marriage does not guarantee happiness. it comes form within and self satisfaction. I can have it all and still be happy. besides I still have family in the form of parents, relatives and siblings. capish. |

Timbuktou: My honest reaction would be to assess my chances with her. Am I as wild as she would like or is accustomed to and other thoughts. Believe me, wild women do not suddenly become the lambs they try to portray they've become.
If I can handle her past I would move with her, if I can't I move on without her. It sure beats finding out she cheated on me because o don't smoke or don't do anal, or any other wild thing her mind can come up with. I go into every relationship with honesty, if you don't like my past, that's it. I don't have to deceive you into a relationship. well said. thank you. |

Timbuktou: I know virgins who are more adept at giving blowwjobs than veteran hookers; virgins with loose rectums. Dey dia dey mumu yourself. All of it only boils down to what this thread encourages; speak not the truth. what would be your honest reaction to a woman who decides to be very open to you about her past with no holds barred? |

hopeforcharles: Therefore with all said and typed i hereby declare this thread a Failure. Open- ness breeds sincerity and trust in a relationship People please dont follow all you read in Nairaland. Peace these are times when i need that red thread close stamp. what if she comes out clean and the relationship ends. the same cycle repeats itself in the more relationships she finds herself. she will be left with no choice but to zip her lips for fear of being heartbroken. not many men can live with a woman's past. saying this from experience. if you confide In them as to what goes on in your family, then be expected to receive insults. thread is actually dicey in the sense that not many people will understand what the op is saying. same way a man cannot come out to tell his spouse that he was unfaithful. while the woman might put many things into consideration and forgive, same might not be said for the man who might find it difficult to swallow the fact that the wife slept with someone else. someone still told me that he's free to have affairs but can't stand his wife having an affair considering that he holds that place sacred since his children would be birthed from that same place. best I can say is that women should live doing what is right. personally, if I have done stuff that my future hubby should know of, I will tell him. if he can live with it and see through the fact that it is my past alk well and fine. if not, then let him take a walk. life does not start and end with marriage biko. one can attain her goals even as a single man or woman. |

Go ahead sir, do it if you will.
wetin I no go see so. of all things to brag about it is the ewars you led. I was privy to the thread and if my memory serves me correctly, you were banned and you created another handle. to me, that is joblessness. let me not talk about how you were served hot though by two other handles I cannot remember their names. Internet lion. roar na let nl shake. @ topic, anybody could have washed the dishes. but a grown ass woman knows that it is not right to even leave plates unwashed till the next day. she should wash it. the younger brother has every right to be annoyed. the poster was even being derogatory by the use of the words "mere woman". not surprised after all, someone who patronises brothels and sleeps with all manner of women would not see them in a good way. so his language is excused. |

Emodeee: More reason she is a prostitute. Av u forgotten that guys are moved by what they c?
Answer: he is a true guy. more reason why he's a prostitute. if he's moved by what he sees, can't he control himself or is self control not part of human existence. so I should not be free to wear whatever I want to wear because guys will be moved by exposed parts of my body which in turn makes me a prostitute cos they will hit on me.
