Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Oga Interviewer, Don’t Ever Call Me Beautiful! (A Letter To Hr’s In Nigeria) by Teespice(f): 6:32pm On Jan 23, 2015 |
Nihilist: This girl just doesn't understand the job market.
The job market is like the relationship market.
Employers/Objects of desire must wade through the myriad of applicants/suitors to get the one that is just perfect for the position of employee/lover.
There is so much choice out there and Employers/Object of desire know that they don't have to settle for less...potential employees/lovers know this too. That's why they obtain certifications/swaggy objects to improve their chances in the job/love game and make the attraction mutual between all parties involved.
Judging by her silly demands, it seems like the OP is the only one who doesn't understand this simple principle..
That's why she's still jobless...and single I am sure you weren't smiling when you typed this epistle. ease up abeg. life is meant to be enjoyed not endured. naijasinglegirl, I really enjoy all your posts both here and on your blog. |

this is the problem I always have with journalism particularly the print media.
what's the essence of giving us stories with words such as:
the source who refused to disclose his name on print name of person or church or organisation witheld An official who insisted on being anonymous.
the essence of investigative journalism is to fish out these elements and make them serve as lessons to other suspecting people so that they think twice before venturing into illicit business and what not.
to the topic. people do almost anything to get money nowadays so no be new thing. |

IDEApro: Sensation and emotion has beclouded your sense of reasoning to the extent you can't read and comprehend a simple write up. Where and how did I support the action of the guy if not offering hints as to the probably cause of action to the Op and how best for her to confront the husband with her suspicions.
Op expressed fear even though it is confirmed and succinctly ask for advice to handle the situation and at this juncture, I offered a probably cause of action and how best to confront hubby on why he took such action, the merit and demerits and if this could be patched up they may decide to work on it. My suggestions explicitly stated this opinion.
Where in the passage did you read my support for the OP or your half bake education is fantasizing with your brain? you supported him by saying that it is what most African men do since a time will come when he wants to relocate to Nigeria and due to certain factors she might not want to come with him. stop justifying evil abeg. call a spade a spade. even tour fellow males are for once being realistic. or are you naturally the kind that eats his cake and still wants it. |
Family › Re: Did My Husband Marry Another Woman? by Teespice(f): 3:45pm On Jan 11, 2015 |
IDEApro: Op, I won't mince word with you so I will lay it bare. Every African man particularly a Nigerian outside of his home country believes he is on a journey to return home someday. We all knows that no White woman or a foreigner married to a Nigerian man will willing fully relocate to Africa with the children permanently. African men particularly Nigerians sees their children as 'personal assets' and would want to see them around him when he grows old.
Discuss with him and promise you will relocate permanently to Africa with him and the children and he will open up and dissolve his marriage intentions with his African Bride. The fear is that he will lose the children to you whenever he decides to relocate back home hence the African wife as a backup plan for getting children do me a huge favour shut the fùck up. are you that shameless that you are openly justifying evil. |

*speechless*
at this point this is clearly a case of voting for the lesser evil or not voting at all.
besides all these people screaming for buhari's certificates, have you bothered to ask about any publications or thesis written by the president since he has a doctorate.
In all of this I will maintain neutrality since I am not in support of buhari or GEJ but let a spade be a spade. it is all about fairness

Romance › Re: Why So Afraid? by Teespice(f): 7:54am On Dec 27, 2014 |
chronique: @mizmycoli:
Permit me to call you a nice loving witch. How did you manage to write this? It feels like an x-ray of my entire emotional system and soul, was done by a doctor and His findings and prescriptions, written on a sheet of paper. That sums up what you wrote up there, for me and I think it might be same for a lot of folks out there.
My own defintion of love,is: living(L) on(O) venomous(V) emotions(E). Loving truly with your whole heart, consumes you and if it ever turns sour,it becomes a bad venom that tears people into shreds. That's the simple reason, why people hardly get over heartbreaks;the venomous emotions destroys their souls(most especially when they've given their all). We eventually find ourselves, protecting our fragile hearts and even when true love shows up,we tend to excuse ourselves from his presence for the fear of going through experiences from the past. But in our quiet moment,we sit and wish he's actually with us,we talk about how much we want him and all that. It's a scary crazy world we find ourselves in.
As for me,I love to love and wanna be loved back whole heartedly,I've got pure and genuine love to be given to the special one who deserves it,and I expect same. Irrespective of all the hurdles on my way to attaining this,I'd still give it a try. I'd try till I can no longer try and that would be the day my breath ceases.
When you love completely and you receive the same kind of love in equal dose and measure, the kind of happiness you derive from it,would supersede the type you get from earning a fat pay. Reason is,it is unconditional. choi. I totally agree with this post. mizmycoli, brilliant piece. I can relate to what you wrote. |
