Structuralman: If your vehicle has a P1887 DTC, it means that the switch that lets the ECU know the TCC clutch/torque converter clutch is no longer engaged, is not responding properly. If this happens, the engine and transmission will not function properly together. Which means performance could suffer and safety could be affected. I suggest you Change your speed sensor. Please any ideas where is the sensor located?? |

DMechyy: If he really is your mechanic, you should have built some form of relationship.
Repairs sometimes require return jobs. It is not good, but it happens. Best you take it back to him, so he resolves it. It is suspension, and not a big deal and are sometimes a knot! Thanks for the advise |

nas00: No Sir.
There are two main advantages of using 'coolant':
1) For hot climates like ours, the advantage is that 'coolant' has the ability to hold MUCH MORE heat than water. Therefore, it 'removes' heat much better from the engine. This heat is transferred to the radiator, where it is dissipated into the surrounding. That means, your engine suffers less heat-related stress (or enjoys more) when working and engine is therefore likely to last longer before it loses performance from wear and tear.
2) For cold climates (e.g. Canada, Russia, Scandinavia etc): 'Coolant' contains an anti-freeze additive (typically polyethylene glycol), which prevents the fluid in the radiator and engine block from freezing, even in sub-zero temperatures. That way, you can still start up your car in very cold weather and it runs and engine cools normally. Water, on the other hand, will freeze and expand at sub-zero temperatures, which can crack the engine block OR at least, make it impossible to drive the car without catastrophic damage. We only get away with using water in out environment because we have tropical climate. Wooow.... I didnt know all of this. Hope it is not too late to change from water to Coolant. |

Kindly re-do your suspension job with a competent mech or workshop Am already working on the bolded. Does this mean, I would have to re-buy all of those stuffs? |

Hello Bosses,
I changed Ball Joint, Lower Arm Bushing and the Leakage of my Honda City 2007. I noticed when i apply the brakes the tire vibrates in a very funny way. Its not firm, it was when i wanted to the alignment they noticed it and refused to do the alignment saying i need to fix it.
I noticed when an 80Km/h my handbrake lights come on.
What could be wrong? |

nas00: What is water doing in your radiator in the first place?
Car abuse!!
The water probably has contaminants, causing it to foam. Boss, Even in Nigeria, Thought it was only applicable to countries outside Nigeria. I have using water in my car(Honda City 2007) for a long time. |

UyaiIncomparabl: I'm an old soul. I remember my past life, friends and activities I engaged with. Two of my friends in my past life were reincarnated back with me to the present life I live. They are my spiritual guides.
When I was 6, I used to converse with the spirits who usually came to me in a trance. People around thought I was possessed since I usually talked to myself loud at night. They thought I was soliloquizing, but I was dining and wining with the spirits of the ethereal realm. My parents were confused, more especially, my mum. I could see the frustration and fear in her eyes. People around advised my mom to take me to one of the Celestial churches for deliverance. I knew I wasn't possessed. I used to play with kids that looked like half human and half animal to my own eyes but looked like a complete human to another's eyes. I knew spells and strange incantations as a kid that marveled people around. My parents were advised to take me home that I belonged to tradition. They didn't heed anyway.
Late into my teens, I started losing these vibrations gradually. However, I still retained a few. I have premonitions via dreams, trances and instinctive abilities. I am still in tandem with my Chi and spiritual guides. They see me and I see them. No man born of flesh and blood can kill me via spiritual means except it is my time to die. If you try am, you may not survive the consequences. Interesting.... |

abuiltech: We Test both waste and water supply pipes to ensure water tightness
Hydrostatic testing of waste and AC condensate pipes in slab, after 24hrs the level of the water still remained the same, if you check it month or years to come, the water must be there,
if there's any leaking joint, it will be quickly shown, don't assume that your pipes in slab are 100% water right, at least at every 100 fittings joint there probability that 1 point will leak Please why are the pipes black? Are they wrapped? |

nas00: This suggests your alternator is not charging your battery as it should. Like it's been suggested already, I agree you should replace the alternator to avoid getting stranded one day.
You must first listen for where the noise is coming from (front right/left or rear right/left, engine bay etc) and when the noise occurs (e.g. when climbing a speed breaker, when turning steering etc). The information will be useful in determining the most likely cause. Thanks Boss. This is noted |
