@jackal
on the bright side, we get to play arsenal, chelsea and liverpool and old trafford at the 2nd half of the season.
our home form was the best in the whole of europe last season. won all prem home matches except the man city one. won all the home champs league matches
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by Temmie10(m): 10:42am On Jun 16, 2008
whats more, both are away matches,
so the season finale will see chelsea come to old trafford for a change, instead of us always going to the bridge at the tail end
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by Temmie10(m): 10:40am On Jun 16, 2008

i am sorry i cannot help that mr william gallas cries everytime he makes a cataclysmic mistake (which is every game really)
But i wasnt even going to go there until someone suggested very WRONGLY that Madrid is richer than United because they are government property.
United is valued at over 1.8 billion pounds. Madrid are valued at 1.28.
i dun need the highest IQ in the world to know which is higher. grin

this is not about me,
its about our clubs
dun take it personal if your team is a forever losing team, thats jus fact
gallas is your captain! not rvp
the dutch captain was van der sar but the point is how mr asrene wenger has turned a certain mr gallas (who apparently was a winner at chelsea) into an error prone crying freeman misfit of a captain,
p.s. a low iq doesnt change the fact that arsenal just can't seem to win a trophy ANYMORE!!!
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by Temmie10(m): 4:46pm On Jun 14, 2008

i hope making a fuss abt nothing on the champions thread appeases your mutiple loser's wounds.
your crying freeman of a captain was at it again making monumental mistakes against the dutch team and weeping everytime the ball went in. dude was a man while at chelsea, now arsene wenger has turned william gallas into a 6 yr old under-talented captain of a perenially losing team.
thats right, i am a manc to the heartand if u push me, i'll come straight at ur team of under 15s, expired low-talent migrants and french rejects managed by the biggest loser in the epl,
come talk to us when next u guys win something, its been 4 years! and except u guys get lucky with d carling cup, i reckon it'll be at least another 4 or more years b4 u get close to winning an automatic champs league spot. we will be playing the world club competition next season while y'all will be screaming cos u beat hull city 6-2 while lying 4th on the epl table. u need to join a bigger league of actual champions and stop being pleased with doing better than tottenham and playing pre-intimacy soccer, score and win titles!

Pls don't get it twisted at all.
First Manchester United is the richest football club on the planet, i dun care how much of government property real madrid are! And this is certified by Forbes, this is the latest 2008 figures: i am giving u two links to feed on below:
1. http://www.forbes.com/2008/04/30/valuable-soccer-teams-biz-soccer08-cx_jg_pm_0430soccer_land.html
2.http://www.inthenews.co.uk/sports/football/autocodes/premiership-teams-2006-2007/west-ham/manchester-united-are-richest-club-in-world-$1221101.htm

Now to better gist, United bought Ronaldo for 12 million pounds, and in 5 yrs, we have made him world footballer of the year, ronaldo joins a long list of players we have MADE. if we were to sell him for 75 million pounds which is not even a sure thing, we wouldnt lose sleep at all.
We are talking about Manchester United here who won the 2 biggest trophies last season, more than Arsenal, real madrid, liverpool, chelsea's titles added together, sorry for adding the english teams, the losers won zilch, oh yeah i forgot Arsenal won the "we beat ac milan trophy",
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by Temmie10(m): 2:24pm On Jun 08, 2008
i culled this from eurosport and i could help but love the sarcasm,

"The News of the World claims that the Portugal winger (ronaldo) is refusing to answer Sir Alex Ferguson's "desperate" calls, despite the fact that - as reported in the Mail on Sunday - the United boss is currently lying on a beach somewhere boring his wife to death about the evolution of the catenaccio system in 1930s Austria.

The People, meanwhile, say United are preparing to offer their star a record-breaking £150,000-a-week deal in a bid to tie him to the club, which should keep him in hair gel and high-class prostitutes for a few months at least."
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by Temmie10(m): 7:37pm On Jun 02, 2008
@emperoh
dun mind wenger.
the dude actually wants second place (automatic champs league qualification) because even if the new system is tried, i think united will still always win but wenger's boys will surely have more points than boring boring chelsea (this is fact actually, i mean who spends 300 million pounds for exciting football and still doesnt get anywhere near? at united we live and breathe attacking exciting footie)

@tkb417
i'm cool,
on second thot, maybe we should sell cr7, i think his stock is hottest currently, and may not be so for very long again
he might not have as good a year next year, do u really see him doing 42 goals again?
in such a case, we could swap him or sell him to get decent players, manutd's game is not built on individual talent, all our number 7s have all been different, beckham, cantona, ronaldo are very different (beckham is super slow, ronaldo is super fast) but they all deivered when it mattered, besides the great achievements of last season (and believe me, its specially great when u win the double and ALL your rivals win NOTHING!) masks the fact that we need out and out strikers to support our talented bulldogs (rooney and tevez). we could really use a benzema and klass combination.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by Temmie10(m): 2:06pm On Jun 02, 2008
Madrid cannot buyout ronaldo's contract. the current one has no buy out clause, sorry!
ronaldo will only leave if united agree to sell.
and that is definitely not happening this summer.
However even if he were to leave in 2 or 3 years, he'll join a long tine of players who went from man-utd to real madrid to settle for la liga and la liga alone, the list of rvn, heinz, beckam.
remember how heinz so badly wanted to sign for the scousers, ? not under alex's watch, the man has been there, done that, got the tshirt.
man-utd made ronaldo and he only wins with us. he has no other trophies, none with portugal and u can be sure portugal aint wining euro 2008. its the attacking ethos that sir alex builds into the team that is united not individual talents. eric cantona retired but that dint mean arsenal or chelsea started winning the epl, in fact united went on to win the treble, rvn left and dudes thot we were finished, and look whats happened, we've won more without him,
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by Temmie10(m): 10:25am On Jun 02, 2008
@nazzyon
i wouldnt want taiye taiwo for united.
yes the dude has got a great left feet and his fast but is extremely defensively inadequate.
commits unnecessary tackles (remember how messi did him in for 2 penalties in the same game)
he is often out of position, all liverpool's counter attacks found him ou of position when liverpool played marseille in france this season.
i hope evra gets a new deal soon, the signing of evra and vidic at the same time, though low key at the time has turned out to be one of alex's best buys in a long time, those two effectively gave united a shot at winning titles, vidic balanced the previously dilletante and detached ferdinand and in evra we have an attack minded left bag who will stand up to the likes of messi if need be.

@tkb417
long time.
Ronaldo is going nowhere.
Sir alex says united will rather sit him in the stands than sell to real, who needs robinho? talkless mr sneider and mr ramos.
if the boy really wants to go, he will go but on our own terms and definitely not this summer.

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by Temmie10(m): 12:47am On May 22, 2008
the best part of this double is that united have won the double in the same season when liverpool have gone trophyless, chelsea have gone trophyless and arsenal have also gone trophyless.
look at ashley cole, lost 2 champ league finals
Life is so Fair!

messi my foot,
went missin against real madrid, same purposeless running around even when the team was losing 4-1.
went missin against mayorca, team lost 3-2
couldnt provide the neededgoals for the team
when he scores half of what ronaldo has scored, we will consider him.
For now, VIVA Ronaldo

Congrats to all mancs!

the name of this thread has been appropriately changed. kudos!!!
united are the undisputed best team in world, hope it gets changed again after moscow.

how appropriate that the 2 goals scorers yesterday epitomised all that united is about.
ronaldo was barely 4 yrs old when giggsy signed for united,
the team is finely mixed, not just young heads or old tarts but strength in depth and overwhelming talent that our rivals would learn a thing or 2 from if they would try being less biased.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by Temmie10(m): 3:31pm On Apr 30, 2008
Sir Alex finally got the tactics right,
This is what we should have done since!
instead united went gung ho against real madrid winning 4-3 (but lost the qtr fnal)
Again united went gung ho against milan winning 3-2 (but lost the semi final)
But yestada nite's performance was disciplined, gave nothing away. nice!
A good defence is a better asset in the UCL

Brown has become a much much better defender this season
there is a quote Mark Hughes made about united that i wont forget.
He said, "Manchester United work in Dreams and Miracles!2
henry fell at the theatre of dreams
eto fell at the theatre of dreams
messi fell at the theatre of dreams
bojan fell at the theatre of dreams
deco fell at the theatre of dreams
iniesta fell at the theatre of dreams
rikjard fell at the theatre of dreams
Rio pocketed them ALL!
The new united hall of fame: ronaldo, rooney, ferdinand, evra, the list goes on!
Did someone say fergie lost it?

Uby40:

@ Jackal, let the truth be known, Ronaldo was not focused on such an early penalty, with bearly 2mins into a semi-final away, why didnt he let that be taken by Owen or even scholes, who were no target by the fans and press. they would have been more relaxed to convert that.the presure mounted on him by the fans and press took a toll on him,and missing that spot-kick was the result, he cudnt play any better role until the end of the match, ManUtd made English football look like we are coward, why would they have such tactics to defend a whole 85% of any away match, he(Ronaldo) is a mug,a big one at that, just like his conpatroits Lucio of Bayern Munich, and Riise of Liverpool, this is the same flamboyancy we see in players like Drogba, and Gallas, who wants every thing be decided by them, thereby putting pressure back on the team. I bet u, when next Man Utd gets a spot kick, in the UCL, ronaldo would think twice before stepping foward.
so u even read the poor boy's mind, na wah o,
the boy has scored 38 goals, this is only the 2nd penalty he is missing in a united shirt
we the die hard man-utd fans are not even bothered one bit,
the penalty just shows the boy is human, albeit with superhuman talents
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by Temmie10(m): 1:01pm On Apr 24, 2008
the bookies never favoured arsenal to win the epl even when they lead by 5 points and they were right.
they deserve some effing credit!
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by Temmie10(m): 12:47pm On Apr 24, 2008
Dayokanu forgot to mention that in the season where his nazi bayern munich beat barca home and away, they lost the title to fergie! and kuffour cried like a baby
but i guess i'd subscribe to jackal's theology and ignore a confused football dilettante
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by Temmie10(m): 12:29am On Apr 24, 2008
That united performance was one of the most resolute i have ever seen
This was not one based on flair,
it was about the most resolute defence in the world of soccer!
rio, brown were excellent.
Hargreaves is a class player any day, on that right wing he showed that he can hold his own against any player.
Van der sar is a class act!
carrick is a phenomenom, he has matured so quickly, scholes did a job without being booked,
when was the last time any side came back from the nou camp in a champs league match without conceeding?
the boys just said NO to barca,
messi, deco, iniesta, henry, bojan, eto (na name we go chop?)
the fergie tactics was simle, let them do what they like anywhere except the final third,
it was not the most pleasing to watch, but it was the kind of performance that we lacked in the 2nd leg against milan last year
The best thin abt this united team is their refusal to lose against all odds.
this was united's defence proclaimin that they too (not just the forward boys) have come of age
next leg in the theatre of dreams will be a very diff game, united in with a massive chance to repeat 99!!!

the kind of returns you want from the market is possible but not guaranteed
the risk is higher that u will lose because of the short time frame but heck, u might just be able to pull it off,
i am not interested in sharin the premium with u (thats not our way on this thread, we'r freely give, freely recieve ppl grin)
As long as u understand the risks involved, i can give u a few pointers, and u might just make good money.

First alum's result was just as expected, their half year and 9 months showed that there would be LAT,
however it is a speculative stock that can make u a lot of money if u play it right, can also burn your hands if you get suckered in.
when it begins to rise, it is almost ompssible to buy, when it is on freefall, it is dangerously difficult to sell,
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by Temmie10(m): 5:01pm On Apr 07, 2008
United are just one good game away frm winning their 10th epl tile,
Beat chelski/beat arsenal, /dun lose any of the games against chelski and arsenal,
theres no way an avram grant side will wrest the title from fergie,
arsenal already proved that they are not champions, its 4 years and its about to become 5, without a title,
it must be misery to support arsenal
