seal777: He registered DV 2013 as married ( even though they were just dating back then without a formal marriage done ) but unforunately they are no longer in good terms again while he is committed to someone else but he just discovered he has been selected in the current dv lottery 2013.

His case number is current for October already, He need to submit his application forms to KCC as soon as possible but He cant get back with his Ex Girlfriend as this would affect his current relationship with his fiancee ( She is aware of the scenario as we speak ) .

adzovia: u just tell them the truth maybe u got divorced if so show them divorce papers. if it is parlor marriage make sure u explain it well. but if u are married u should know that marriage couples have advantage in the selection.

Except if he tells them he forgot to tick the box for divorce when he was applying and he would also have to show the divorce records too.

I do not intend to go with my wife because I understand how complicated the case can be if u add your wife after winning. I am hoping to be scheduled for interview in February. My question is- in case I am asked by the CO if I am married, should I say yes,I am married(I got married last xmas) or play it safe and say no i am not married.

Just go and tell the truth,it will favor your wife in future and processing will be very easy once you apply for her to join you.But please,let ther Co know the time you got married and go with your wedding cert ust incase CO ask.They will keep the information in your file and that would make things easy once you apply for her

lillaowow: I just remembered ma sister combined waec with Neco(nov/dec) to gain admission. She's now in her final year. She got D7 in waec and cleared her result in Neco except govt.

Nevertheless, combination of result depends on d discretion of the CO. From the testimonies of people, some CO checked for credentials, some CO dnt even bother. So, if the CO is ready to check your credentials, just make sure you're on d safer side.

Thank you, about CO checking credentials,its not there work but embassy official who reports to them before your interview. Once you submit your Educ cert to them,they will check,comment and submit to CO.If you have dont meet qualification,red flag is raised and the CO may request for supporting document(if you have any)during your interview.Thats the little i know about CO and Educ certs
