I am not a proponent for violence, but from time immemorial, the security of tribes and clans - women and children has always been on the able bodied men in the society. Democracy has taken away that priviledge ans handed it over to the government and its agencies. If they fail to achieve this mandate, i think basic instinct and human survival calls for a fallback to the methods that work.
