Injury from a boat mishap? Something tells me an attack occurred |
Why do you zombies keep doing this? Apisadodo you are an unrepentant zombie. Because the naira has fallen so much that it has lost its purchasing power, you are now using current exchange rate to make comparisons? Use 150 to a dollar lets see how that fares. Also have you thought of converting the current minimum wage to dollars and using minimum wage/fuel price as indicators? |
Terry68:And what's with the pessimistic message? Why do you write with certainty than there is no more to be heard? Is it hate or you just want to type? @OP I was among those shortlisted for interview. Just today I went on Twitter to send a message to the minister of petroleum. Hope they don't end up discarding us and doing targeted head hunting. I remember when we were arguing here on nairaland if GEJ or PMB will be the best option to see out this recruitment, and many went for PMB. Did the devil we know turn out better than the angel we didn't know? We'll find out. |
Lol...Mr. Rocket Scientist Mr. Minister of darkness Kindly enforce metering, and watch how power generation becomes a business venture...and the players work on supplying electricity to maximize their income. Any other thing is just grammar you are speaking. You people were running your mouths before elections, now the chicken has come home to roost. |
So BH terrorist get access reach Aso rock? May 29 speech being fine tuned. Person wey write this script come add BH husband to the play don Bleep up....him no do him continuity well. SMH. |
Nonsense. If there was a case of poisoned food, the advice will definitely not be "eat plenty onions". All you scaremongers, get a life. |
oh well ... May 29 speech is being furnished little by little |
"And her husband" ? That Idiot should be arrested and prosecuted in sane climes - but - We ave politicians and people up north who get married to children and have canal knowledge of them so ill just be ranting. What a country. modified: maybe the husband in context is that of the aid worker - even at that the perpetrator should be brought to book |
Safari29:Why are you crying more than the bereaved if you have good intentions? |
Legitbaba:Who sold mainly care about the oil money if not those housing the resource? I think a better argument is majority of the oil in aks is offshore, and they can hardly disrupt production there. And as such they are taken for a ride. If any militant attack that happens in aks, there is a high probability it has external influence to it. I think government and iocs aren't proactive enough and this would be a bane to Nigerian oil and gas industry. We let our normal bigotry, tribalism, and partisanship to affect the industry and this is a time bomb waiting to explode. |
I Think of all the SS niger delta communities hosting IOCs, Akwa Ibom is the most peaceful, and in Nigeria if you are peaceful, you will be taken for a ride. Despite the fact that this is the state contributing the most to the country, it is not evident in the populace that there is wealth. I am not advocating violence, but Akwa Ibom peolple should step up their game and use available channels to curry the best to themselves. PS. No parasitic bigot should quote me. |
I will start taking this government serous when they start announcing measures to cut cost of governance and tackling the root cause of problems instead of cutting the palliatives in place for the common man. |
Nigerians sha...sea monster ke |
Before? Then wan keep them for one corner make army come rescue them? Nigerian army needs to learn how to go on offensive and covert missions |

Your copy and paste no complete....you left out the key part of the news...what does the bill say? |
Which kind wahala be this na... Make zenith bank no follow try am oh....I don die for here be that |
Shym3xx:You just earned a follower. I like it when someone is intelligent in analysis, gives ideas and is open to correction when he sees a better argument. There is what we call price inelasticity of demand and that applies to the oil and gas sector as you rightly stated previously. When someone comes online and starts making posts with insults inclusive, you just know they don't know what they are saying, just cheap internet. I like your composure in replies and intelligence shown without throwing back jabs. cc. fiizznation |
Hmm.... |
fiizznation:What is their net worth? |
The best thing is to see out our current licenses and then nationalize the oil blocks. Let the blocks being to the NNPC as national assets. While IOCs operate them. Not individuals winning blocks with crooked companies. |
aresa:I believe going through all my posts, I didn't make points sound like facts and I gave scenarios and it's resultant consequences. I carefully used words like - (I think, I believe, they should) etc. I believe at a certain point I listed some data that if available could help make informed statements...like plateau rate, estimated reserves etc. I made my statements on what is on ground, while finally making a point for more reserves to be found. You jumping into my posts and quoting me with ramblings since morning with no understanding just shows you are not worth wasting precious time with. I'm studying for exams....don't want to engage you further. |
aresa:those meaningless internet yarns are oil and gas industry terms you wont comprehend. Those blocks i believe have been awarded, and exploration activities have been carried on them. you think it is today oil was found in that field? They had to do the economics to get the viability before they start production. The oil price alone is enough to shut some fields as not being economically viable. As I always end it, Lets hope they get more reserves that will be beneficial for them, the state and the nation as a whole. instead of rushing to be in the league. |
aresa:Yes I admit there might be reservoirs close by, but my brother it is not by common sense or history. It is by careful exploration and appraisal methods...Which involve money that need to be recovered. Oil might be found, but abandoned due to the fact that it is not commercial enough under certain circumstances. Taking into account economics, technicality, etc. It is not by coming online to produce, and cover your expenses just so that you bear the "oil producing" tag. I hope they find more reserves...til then, I think 50Mbbls/day plateau rate is meagre. And if I am to guess, plateau will be for just about 10 years before decline. |
Una wan chop nddc money by force....50000 bbls a day, what is the cost of lifting + capex + opex ... Is it economical? We need figures of estimated recoverable reserves, plateau rate, field life. Before we applaud. Congrats though on the find. |
Modular refineries will soon take off when you are just releasing names of successful bidders? How many months will it take to make studies and build structures? |
