PoliticsShocking: Kogi might vote the dead during supplementary by tempest01(op):
Modified: i was trying to look up the implication of Audu dying

Section 36 of the electoral act states that
(I)
If after the time for the delivery of nomination paper and before the commencement of the poll, a nominated candidate dies, the Chief National
Electoral Commissioner or the Resident Electoral Commissioner shall, being satisfied of the fact of the death, countermand the poll in which the deceased candidate was to participate and the Commission shall appoint some other convenient date for the election within 14 days.

I am not around to follow up events and wasn't aware audu voted today, so I edit this post.

From my understanding of the electoral act quoted above, the people of kogi Will be able to vote for A dead man during the supplementary elections.

As long as the election process started and he was still alive, he is a valid candidate. And he should still go into the supplementary.

If APC happens to win, his deputy should be sworn in.

PoliticsRe: Akwa Ibom State Can Solve Nigeria’s Fuel Scarcity – Gov. Udom Emmanuel by tempest01(m): 11:44am On Nov 22, 2015
Endi:
Obviously you are one of the ethnically blinded naysaying mob whose recalcitrance has held this country hostage since 1914. Before spewing your hogwash, did you imagine that its considerably cheaper to pipe crude from say Total's Amenam, Ofon or Edikan fields to Akwa Ibom which is barely 60 km away than laying those pipelines on ground to wherever you wish to build those refineries in your Bayelsa or Rivers? Oh.. I get it. You felt refineries are built to sit on wellheads. Lol.

Google the distance between most Mobil and Total fields to Akwa Ibom land before you type this ignorant diddle next time.
The guy just types because he has internet connection.

Some Offshore akwaibom production is tied back to QIT terminal on land for separation. There are storage tanks there, on land.

You can stand on ibeno beach and see production platforms.

The request is simple, fg should support aks by granting the necessary licenses to build a refinery. The plans, capital, Labour and land is available.

It is commendable for my governor to put party differences aside and try to curry favour from fg.

That's how politics should be...devoid of bitterness, and to the common good of the masses.

AgricultureRe: Buhari Set To Launch N20bn Loan For Rice Farmers On Tuesday by tempest01(m): 7:12pm On Nov 14, 2015
I think a better option is to do a reimbursement at a fixed price to rice farmers. If you harvest say 10 acres, you can claim say 20,000.

Government can also take over the milling and packaging of rice, thereby creating a local market. And also buying off the product at collection areas in the production zones. This can be done by state governments coming together, but they all wait for oil money to squander.

We need dead bh fighters and recovered weapons they took from NA.

How do we know this is not a script?

Lonelydora(m) I put it to you that you can never use the phone I am currently using or the Wi-Fi I am currently on in your whole life.
The best love I can show is the real concern I showed there. We see bh videos, and I reiterate, showing us bomb diffusing pictures, I hope it is not mere training or propaganda pictures.

We have seen the amount of weapons bh have taken from the NA add on a personal note, I Will attribute success when these people are killed and bulk of these weapons recovered.

You are a bastard...I've listened to myself, and my choice of words is as perfect as it gets. I hope these pictures are real combat pictures and not propaganda pictures.
I am a civilian. If I had tried enlisting, wouldn't have made it. Some heartless, valourless, peeps with connections who would run and leave their brothers when engaged would have beat me to it.

See you taking military as if you fit. Bastard son of a thousand fathers.

D.ick head! What do u think they have been doing?
You are mad...What does taking pictures in a non combat zone prove? How do you know who placed the bombs there? How do you know if they are armed? These pictures and bh videos which group seems more effective.

It is people like you they use propaganda to finish, and you start regretting later. Dundee.

Even Ojukwu recognises the leadership qualities of PMB and hence, the joint protest that he embarked on with the general. If he was to be alive today, am sure he will guide the misguided Igbo youths away from the path of hatred and destruction that Nnamdi Kanu is currently leading them to. He definitely won't want the Igbos of today to make the terrible mistake he led his people into making in the 60's.
And what is your comment about obj running in and out of aso villa at this moment now pmb is in government?
