Is there a possibility the Shites matter can be linked to this?

Iran have points to prove to the nigerian government for the shites killings and also they need to capture the oil market. Could they have given Niger deltan militants sophisticated weaponry and also perform some clandestine secret operations to bring down nigerian economy?

The FG hasn't handled many issues rightly and diplomatically. Brace yourselves Nigerians, we could be in for a very rough ride.

There is an app you installed which is currently open. It is the app that is making these pop up adverts. go to your list of open apps, you should know the culprit as it wass recently installed, since youve not been noticing this problems before. you can uninstall the app.

Why are there gas cylinders in the house? Simply making a shed outside and buying a long good quality hose could have saved this family.

People should start taking safety very importantly. A little time spent doing a safety walkthrough in the house and analysing and eliminating potential hazards can help avoid stories that touch later.

The paramount thing in the ND is for the federal government to take transparent steps in solving the root problems of impoverishment, jobs, education, healthcare, and standard of living.

My own input is that individuals that own oil blocs should be made to pay good royalties to the host communities as they have investments already in the niger delta. IIt's a lose lose. They take all the money and spend it abroad. Looking away from the illegality involved in the awarding process, individuals should not commandeer and amass wealth at the detriment of others.


Except geniune interest in solving the root problems of the niger delta is made, paying amnesty and giving contracts (which should be only looked at a short term solutions) is just postponing the problems for another government to handle.

The export terminal and few oil wells are onshore, operated by indigenous firms. Mostly marginal fields.

@OP Akwa Ibom, Cross River and Edo are not Niger Delta. They are only in South south as a Geopolitical zone. Niger Delta comprises of the Niger tributaries which is inhabited mostly by Ijaw ethnic group and other smaller ethnic groups like Okrika, Kalabari, Ogbia, Abua, Andoni, Bonny who are all closely related to Ijaw.

Akwa ibom is not niger delta? Go back to geography class.

Nigeria has a very long way to go....we have the capacity, but no will power.
