Too bland, and boring. I found the first season interesting back then, but this season feels like a joke to me. Maybe my taste in films have changed.
The series really left much to be desired.

The problem with Tinubu is that he talked too much before becoming president.
It's either he didn't believe he'll ever be president, or if he has actually been planning/preparing to be president all his life like most reports say, then he believed the job of the president is extremely easy.

Now that he has become president, he has done every single thing he blamed GEJ for.
He's like that guy in that 'the wire' series that complained about the system, especially how the police were focusing on stats instead of fighting actual crimes, and promised to change everything once he become the mayor, he became mayor, and started doing the same things he was always blaming his predecessor for.

Always be careful of what you say, because nobody knows tomorrow.

Like I always say, as long as that 1999 constitution exists, I don't believe this country can move forward. No matter how good the president is, they'll find out in due time that their hands are tied, and they can't really do much.

If you've studied that constitution, and still believe Nigeria can progress with the current system of government, you're delusional, I wouldn't call it optimism.
It's either we change that constitution, or they dissolve the country into smaller countries, if not, we'll likely remain stagnant.

Yes, the state I reside produces rice so we don't consume imported rice in the state.
But when PMB banned the importation of rice, and the price of a 50kg bag of rice shot up to over 100k in the country, it had an effect on the price of our local rice too. The prices mirror each other, and follow the same trend only that the local is cheaper. For example, if imported rice is going for 130k, local rice will be 100k.

Also, note that when the price rose to over 100k per 50kg bag, the exchange rate was lower so invariably fertilizers and imported inputs were more affordable than now. Subsidy had not been removed then so fuel and transportation was cheaper too.

This begs the question, why was the local rice more expensive then when the factors of production were cheaper than now when things don cost? Then, I'll go to the rice mill to buy rice, and the sellers will say to me, "Buhari close border, that na why the price go up", and I'll reply "but this rice is produced here na". I later concluded it was the Nigerian factor.

Trust me, whatever the price of maize is right now, if PBAT bans the importation and we rely solely on local production, the price will triple in about a month.

No body dey chop GDP. I'll rather the government policy benefit the masses than increase GDP.

One show that got cancelled that broke me was Atlantis. I was so pained because I was really invested in the show back then I think it was 2015 or thereabouts. Even shadowhunters.
You start a series, when it begins to get very very interesting, boom it gets cancelled.

If you can remember I even spoke on this few months ago when I said someone close to me bought a new Benz, and in over two months he didn't drive it more than twice, making me wonder why he bothered buying the car.
