Doesn't help too that Naira has essentially become tissue paper. E no dey tey again before you dey see ridiculous numbers on wetin be normally basic stuff.
The naira has completely lost value. It's very useless right now. E no dey reach person do anything again regardless of how big it sounds. Right now I'm working on the process of leaving this hellhole.

2-3M is a lot to spend on chow, even for a family of 20, but there are people living alone that spend up to 1M on chow, and this includes eating out, special diets, where they choose to do their shopping and probably the services of a private chef.

It's possible that Ahmed Musa's family has way more than that amount dedicated to their dietary needs.
Poverty will make you hear some people's basic lifestyle, and you'll think it is impossible. This swiz guy also probably believes people can't spend 4m on a single perfume.

If you can't do it, don't think it can't happen or it doesn't happen.

I can't wish poverty on my enemy. Tf.

I said Musa can feed a family of 20 with 2 to 3 million naira monthly in Kano. This was in response to a guy that mentioned he has more than two wives.

And please, stop capping because you are trying to impress people who don’t care. You aren’t finishing soup you spent 15k on in just one day. A quick look at different restaurant prices on Chowdeck or Glovo will reveal how absurd your claim is.
I don't say anything here to try and impress anybody. I don't give a fvck about what anybody thinks of me. I just talk about my reality.

You're just poor bro. No pun intended, I'm even the lowest spender in my cycle because I have guys who spend over 30-60k daily on food. That you can't do it, or don't do it doesn't mean it doesn't happen, or can't happen. Relax and broaden your worldview

Pay Ekaite 50k monthly to cook everything you eat and you won’t spend as much. As at 2023, I spend approximately 150k on feeding monthly. My babe stayed with me for a month and I spent a little less despite having an additional mouth.

So there is no way 2 million won’t feed a family of 20 in Kano.
Why are you mentioning Kano? Do you live in Kano? Kano was never in the initial discuss.
I assumed we both live in the south, there's no need for me to make my basis on people living in Kano.

What you're talking about is impossible. I mostly eat indoors, but even at that, a pot of soup of #15k doesn't last more than a day, and soups are even the cheapest meals to make. Then when I eat out, it's even more than that a day, so as you can see, it's not possible. Well, different realities.

How much do you spend on eating food? Abi you wan begin cap??
Lol. Funny guy. cheesy
I spend over 250k monthly on food, and if I add the number of times I sponsor other people, the number exceeds the initial amount I called to 350+.

And you're telling me that #2m monthly can comfortably feed 20 people.
In this economy? Or are you talking about 2005? Your standards must be low ASF grin.

Naira hasn’t become that bad na. 10M is a lot of money if earned monthly. 2 to 3 million can feed a family of 20 monthly. A bag of rice currently is 60k, 100 tubers of yam in the north should be around 150k. Additional 150k buy 2 bags of sweet potatoes, 100k for 100kg bag of iron beans. 1kg of beef is around 6k, certainly less in the north. A little above 1M could even feed everyone fat. Additional 2 million for general welfare.

These wives will also have their own business set up for them. There is absolutely no way that someone who makes 10M monthly will live like a broke person.
2m monthly will feed a family of 20 comfortably? grin

Which sort of cap is this. I live alone and that amount barely make me live comfortably in a month.

Exactly, if dem decide investigate the spending habits of a lot of us average earners, you'd see it's not so different from these footballers, in that as our earnings grew, so too did our expenses.

Confirm stingy guys like Okocha and Kante are the exception and not the norm, and I mean within the general population, not just footballers.
Simple sturvs my bro. You have to be extremely stingy, even to yourself, for your lifestyle not to change as your income increases massively.

People like Kante aren't the norm.
Some people think being scared of spending money means you're better than others, and you'll never go broke, lmao.

If Boniface's post-tax earnings is still hovering around 17K per week, e mean say the guy neva really touch money for the football thing at all.

The guy is a solid player and while I don't know to what extent his shenanigans online has affected his prospects, it's probabaly time he buckled up and faced his career squarely, if not for anything, for perceptions. A failed medical for a pro already at his level is a bad look.
That's like #80m monthly, meanwhile his mates like osimhen earn over #300m monthly.

He has been insulting people advising him to focus on his career, and stop cruising online. He doesn't know they mean well for him.

Why TF are you always online posting nonsense, and jumping on useless trends as a top professional?
The guy still has ghetto mentality. He left the trenches, but the trenches mentality didn't leave him.

If he doesn't change how he carries himself, and continue fooling online, it'll definitely shape how people view him whether he likes it or not, even his teammates, and manager would be wondering "why is this guy so crass, and razz".

You can't portray an unserious persona and expect sane people to take you seriously, only your fellow clowns will cheer you on.

Lol. So, make men drive cooper because them no wan broke. grin Do you know there are certain places you can't enter with certain cars?

The more you make, the more your lifestyle changes. It'll take extreme savings, and average mentality for you not change your lifestyle as your earnings increase massively.

Let's say you drink wines of #50k when you earn #200k monthly, will you really still prefer drinking such wines when you start earning #5m monthly? Definitely not.

I'm not saying it's not possible, but it's easy to understand why those footballers and sport stars taste luxury and can't go back.

The Russia-Ukraine situation is completely different from what’s happening with Israel. Ukraine never attacked Russia. And really, what’s the point of being a sovereign nation if you can’t decide which organizations you want to join?

If Russia wasn’t constantly bullying its neighbors, those countries wouldn’t be so eager to align with its enemies. In fact, Russia’s actions only prove them right for doing so.

Two completely different situations.

I was at a lounge a few days ago, and the table right next to me had some policemen, two men, and a lady. Guess what they were settling? Infidelity matter lol.
One of the men had slept with the other man’s wife, and the husband actually involved police. The policemen were there trying to settle it inside the lounge. At one point, the husband even tried to fight the guy.

Honestly, I never understand why some men behave like this. If your wife or girlfriend cheats on you, isn’t it obvious she doesn’t rate you at all?

A cousin of mine almost landed in jail because of woman matter. The guy his woman slept with nearly died twice in the hospital after my cousin and his guys beat him almost to death. Just because of cheating.
The matter was very serious back then.

See ehn, as long as your woman wasn’t raped, your real issue should be with her, not the other guy. She knew she had a man and still opened the door for another man, yet you’re fighting the man? That’s loser behavior.
Irrespective of how anyone tries to spin it, women are the gatekeepers of sex, no two ways about it.

If I ever catch my wife in bed with another man, my problem will be with her, not him. And even with that, I won’t raise my hand to beat her. She’s already broken the trust, the best move is separation, not violence. What if you kill her? Or what if you go after the man and things go sideways, you kill him or he kills you? Why risk your whole life over someone cheating on you?

No amount of love should ever make you fight or arrest somebody because they slept with your woman, unless she was raped.

The overdependence of women on men in this country is messed up, but it is what it is. You can’t claim to be the head of the family, refuse to help domestically, cheat recklessly, and still want to split bills.

Two-thirds of Nigerian men treat women as subordinates, don’t assist them at home, dictate who they should vote for, cheat without restraint, and still expect loyalty.
Since that’s the case, then footing all the bills 100% should be a small price for them to pay.
You can’t be traditional and liberal at the same time.

That said, I’m not saying you're wrong. Both the men and women are equally at fault in this issue.

This latest superman movie was rated 9/10 in Rotten Tomatoes, and other sites I don't remember at the moment.

The fact that a movie or series was rated 9/10 on rotten tomatoes doesn't mean it's going to be a good movie.
Sometimes, I wonder what criteria the folks on those film rating sites use to rate films.

Some people see those 9/10 on rotten tomatoes, and co, and start bloating all over the place, hyping the films beyond what they truly are.

Man of Steel is far better than Superman 2025.

With all the hype on that movie...I was expecting much more...

All I got was a weak Superman with so many political issues that I wasn't given a reason to actually care about.

And a Lex Luthor driven so much by envy that I struggled to actually take him as a serious Antagonist.

I feel like there is a lot they could have done with Lex...but his motivations were quite underwhelming...maybe that is what James Gunn was going for...idk

But the movie was very average.

And made for little kids...

It's really starting to piss me off when superhero movies can barely show any blood despite the scale of the battles and no one actually dies...

Somehow it doesn't matter what happens, Superman can save the day with 0 casualties.

Truly a movie made for kids
Glad I didn't waste my time watching it. Some people predicted it'll make a billion $. How's it doing so far in that front, has the box office gotten to $1b?

I see no reason why you should kill anyone because of sex. Betrayal of trust, yes but it doesn't warrant you killing or doing stuff like that.
I think people who do things like that attach too much importance to sex.
As long as no rape was involved, it'll never feel right to me killing or beating anybody up because of sex.
