GloriousGbola: also because they started with a baller lifestyle. much harder to leave it all behind. Your average person will calibrate based on cash flow. This is exactly why politicians loot - they get addicted to a lifestyle they can no longer afford or walk away from, so they treat public funds like a personal ATM. |

BlueRayDick: The author of this article just Dey vex on top nothing .
The whole “it’s not for civil servant “ thingy is not that deep if u ask me. Someone selling exotic cars securely has his target audience and for sure his target audience are not civil servants if we are being truthful .
I don’t think any civil servant should feel down because of the guy’s servant , except he or she has low self esteem .
I mean why will I be pissed that someone is selling something I can’t afford ? 🤷♂️. Even people who earn way better than civil servants can’t afford most of the cars that Abuja guy sells ; so what’s the fuss ? I’m sure his target audience who are people with old money , politicians , flamboyant businessmen , etc see his adverts and buy from him Very simple, so I just can't understand why some people are wailing. I knew it was only a matter of time before they start writing articles about that Abuja car seller. |

I genuinely think it’s time the world dialed down the capitalism, just a bit. We’ve become so obsessively capitalistic that it’s tearing at the very fabric of society. Some see it, most pretend not to. That wilful ignorance? It’s not just irresponsible - it’s inhumane. Yes, I’ve benefited from capitalism. Many of us have. But let’s be honest: it’s enriching the few faster than it’s destroying the many. Yes, it builds wealth, but it’s also gutting the middle class in real-time. If this trajectory holds, the middle class won’t exist in 30 years. And make no mistake, this isn’t just a local problem, this is a global emergency that needs a global response. |

https://www.nairaland.com/8434880/jay-emmanuel-thomas-teenage-arsenal-prodigyWhenever I read articles like this, I can’t help but wonder - do the parents fantasizing about their kids becoming football stars realize people like this exist too? For every 10 players who make it to the top and stay relevant, there are hundreds or thousands more who fade out, forgotten, broke, and broken. The brutal truth? Unless you’re among the elite few, football is a ticking time bomb. Look around - most ex-players are either dirt poor or struggling to maintain the life they once had. |

armadeo: Sinners.
Honestly I've heard almost everything about the movie + spoilers and clips.
It was still amazing. I think there was something about seeing two MBJ at once. The synchronicity was quite captivating.
The rest of the cast did a stellar job.everyonw is on about hailee stangield but my heart was stolen by jaymee lawson. She was just sensual from the first scene like an erotic temptress. I'll have fallen flat and laid down accepting my fate.
All in all it was worth the hype and met all expectations. There's one scene I didn't see coming and haven't seen spoilers on it but I was taken aback and amazed. That was my favourite scene outside the barn.
Worth the watch. Fr? |

Which one is Ekitipikin for £80m? Is it impossible to make the CB or RB do the passings for him? It's not a must to have him play ball na. oyaskii: It's a prequel, and days after the end of this S2, the events of "Rogue One" (A Star Wars Story) (2016), began, with the character developments and plot continuation , that the show had already established, so logically, there can't be a S3, as the faith of Cassian Andor was even sealed, after "Rogue One".
Sometimes and most importantly, as i have come to find out, shows that have completed their short intended stint, and just end, are most often than not, worthwhile, it's the ones that they keep elongating for no logic reason, that becomes terrible. True. But it's 50/50. Nothing is set in stone, sometimes it pays off, and sometimes - it doesn't. |

Only people with real patience can truly enjoy most Star Wars movies sha. They’re mostly slow burn, nothing really takes off until halfway through or near the end. And let’s be honest, not everyone has the time or mental energy to sit through all that build-up every time. |

LordAdam16: Until negotiations and coalition agreements are finalized, he remains an LP member.
2027 is two years out.
If negotiations fall through, 2027 will be a wash.
Matter of fact, Obi does not need the coalition. When Tinubu and Shettima are through with Nigeria, bandits on TikTok will campaign for him in 2035/2039.
I care about a coalition primarily because I despise the prospect of a Shettima or Kwankwaso Presidency.
That's not all. We're about to start Year 3 of 4. No one knows Tinubu's economic plan. Heck, a Trumpian concept of a plan does not exist. He is content with sending prayers to the mailboxes of politicians to secure his reelection.
We've wasted two years. The next two years are practically written off. What incentive would Tinubu have to perform after his re-election, if he couldn't be bothered to do so anytime in the last two years?
If you're keeping count, that'll be a cumulative 8 wasted years. Make that 16. Shettima and Kwankwaso are Buhari Pro Max.
Why does this matter? Economic cycles! Over the next 12 years, it is inevitable that we will have to contend with external shocks. If the economy remains comatose for an extended period, those shocks will send us into a tailspin. The sacrifices Nigerians made over the last 2 years will be for naught.
Tinubu is a political wizard. But he is a very average administrator. We've seen his best. We're living through it. It is odious! I admit he notched wins with the elimination of subsidies (gasoline, currency, electricity). But his economic performance is inexcusable. A finance professional with the experience to boot. His heir apparents will be worse. Atiku/Obi will carve their names in gold if they can rescue the nation from the doomed path it's on. If for whatever reason they fail, well, good luck to Nigerians.
Buhari-Tinubu-Shettima. 24 years in a death spiral. The best thing to do is gtfo and watch this slo-mo train wreck from afar.
-Lord Tbh, everybody should be working on that. Nigeria isn't salvageable. |

Andor absolutely deserves a third season. The way they wrapped it up felt rushed, anticlimactic, and emotionally flat - like they were just trying to meet a deadline rather than give the story the ending it earned. Honestly, one more season isn’t even enough. The plot had so much potential, and they fumbled it right when it mattered most. It’s a slow burn, sure - but one that builds into a legit masterpiece. A show like that deserves space to breathe, not an abrupt send-off. |

They should have hanged Emefiele by now. The scale of what he looted is staggering - historic, even. And make no mistake, they’re underreporting it. Even this corrupt government is too stunned to tell the full truth - because if Nigerians saw the real numbers, the outrage would burn down institutions. Just those 753 duplexes alone must’ve cost at least ₦300 billion. That’s not theft - that’s national sabotage. For 9 years as CBN governor, the man had unlimited access to the vault. I’d bet he stashed nothing less than $5–10 billion. We talk about looters, but Emefiele ran Nigeria like a personal Ponzi scheme. |
