Ilorin is not homogeneous. There are other indigenous tribes such as bariba, nupe, fulani, Hausa, and so on. Even the Ilorin yoruba are not pure Yorubas due to years of intermarriage with other tribes. As a yoruba person, I believe we should write Ilorin off the map of the O'dua nation to avoid future problems. The people there have become Hausa-Fulani in royalty, religion and mindset.
