Of course they can apply for DSSC. But they will not.be given any special advantage over their civilian counterparts.

My experience with paramilitary, any higher certificate you aren't employed on will not be considered after. You'd have to obtain a study permit to study and then you apply for the DSSC like everyone else.

U can see after the Airforce Interview he was quiet in this trend cos he was screened out... He wasn't shortlisted for Navy either cos we know the calibre of people the Navy is looking for...
My radars were on him tru-out his stay in Kaduna till he was screened.. Samuel im sure by now u know y they screened u out?

Don't give sex to anybody in the guise of helping you make the final list. Many officers will come and make promises. But I assure you that none of them can help you.
If you're menstruating then ensure to wash up well before collecting your urine sample to avoid blood contamination in your test.
They will also check for beast lumps. People have been disqualified for that, but I guess it's too late to do anything about that now even if you have. All the best.

Save yourself all this stress and get them signed. Just in case.

Hepatitis B or C will not be taken.
As for height, it's too late for this question. You saw the requirements before you applied.

What will drop MOST people in the next stage is medicals, followed by Certificate Screening. If any slight discrepancy is noted in your papers you're out.


Colour Blindness test not usually done, but may be introduced at any time. It's not out of place.

There's no harm in signing and going with them. It's not heavy load.

I am being so explicit... while I was filling the forms during the application stage, I got stocked with the age limitation. Am 32, but I shifted it...to the required limit. Now, am shortlisted...does it worth a trial....or I will still get stuck in subsequent stages..Who has an idea about their level of strictness concerning the age thingy?

Again, I opted for ICT....I don't know the total number shortlisted for my state but I counted the number shortlisted for ICT department and it is about 60. Now, what is their average intake per state? just trying to spare myself some redundancies though...

You only tricked the computer. You're not likely to trick the physical screening stage. Your age and other data will be closely verified. Most likely you'll be screened out, for your own good. Don't go and die in training, that's the aim of fixing the age limit.

And finally sir how many candidates are picked per state, someone told me that 1 person is picked per local government, somebody else told me that 20 people are picked per state, someone else even said its only 3 people per state...Please sir can you help me out?
