erimakosamuel: So you mean ,army don't finish the race or what? In the army they do the gate of heaven style. Once the time is up, they lock the gate. All those outside after that will just pick their bags and go home from there. Only those inside will continue the rest of the screening. In the Navy it's different. Candidates are grouped according to their time of arrival into 4 or 5 groups. Those in the first group get the highest score, and so on. They then combine these scores with whatever you get from press up sit up etc, and get the total. Those who get the highest will pass. |

Right from the first day you make up your mind to join the NN, you should start preparing for all the stages. Preparing for GMAT, jogging, etc. You only succeed when opportunity meets preparation. Those who are counting on a long hiatus between shortlisting and exams will be disappointed. |

zheeko: Find below d form You're making a terrible mistake posting your details like this on this forum. Poachers will grab this and start calling you soon pretending to be from NHQ. Always blur out all private info and leave only the relevant sections before you post pics here. Not everyone on this thread is an applicant. Some are here just to steal your data. |

pijay: Laziness is ya problem right now.. Nobody gat time to b answering repeated questions.. Go tru this trend from Page 1 till d end.. U will get ur answer.. Like I said earlier, many of the questions I'm seeing here are lame. And that is putting it kindly. NN will do well not to enlist people that cannot use their simple medulla. Imagine someone that wants to come and lead ratings asking which year of GMAT he should use. Guys don't even need to read the whole thread, cos it's already too long. But simple google search nko? Why not search and include nairaland in your query? MOST of the questions have already been adequately tackled. NB: I check this thread anytime I see new notifications on my timeline...but if I'm silent it means either I genuinely don't know the answer you seek, or I consider the question a repetition or a dumb one. Make una no vex. Na my mind I dey yarn. |

Integrator1: He meant some questions are unreasonable.. " reading the thread before asking questions wouldn't be harmful "
Some questions have been answered again and again !! "Paper 2.1 isn't enough to make one succeed in NN , practical application of the mental faculties used in obtaining the 2.1 is needed in the real world (NN inclusive)"
What he meant I presume. Thank you sir. Very apt and succint. |

There is no question asked here so far that has not been answered before on this same thread. Guys should just do a simple google search for some of these things to make it easier. New or peculiar questions are always welcome. NB: The NN is looking for people who can use their mental faculties in the real world, not just paper 2.1 result. Thanks. |

woswobi: Lol, you can be withdrawn a day to passing out. Way and manner. There has been a case of withdrawal even after the parade on POP day. That was in NDA, but of course it can happen in NNC too. Fact is, until you finally nack that pip, you're not yet an officer. |

Maxymilliano: I knew the police would keep watching that guy until he eventually dies. And of course, give it a supernatural bent. Why they didn't take him to the hospital? I have watched crime cases in developed countries where the culprits were unconscious and in critical states, they still adminster medical care, but with restrictions and monitoring. Not so in Nigeria! Is it the same police that don't have money to fuel their Hilux that will take a suspect to the hospital? |

They should also include right to pay promptly for services rendered. We're tired of hearing that Mama Bisi who delivered the 6th set of twins is occupying valuable hospital bed space because she can't pay up and go home. Hospitals are not charity organisations. Private hospitals cannot run at a loss. |
