Nice!! That building is going to be beautiful by the time it is completed. Keep up the good work! |
Ok, let us hope that more people will shift to using cooking gas....now that the price of kerosene has gone through the roof! ![]() |
Beautiful letter, but not comprehensive enough. Whose job exactly is it to fix defective pre-paid meters, and how long would it take to do so? As at today, there is no policy on the warranty period and after-sales support for meters. If I share my own story with you, on the wahala of getting someone to fix pre-paid meters that have gone bad... you will curse the DISCOs. ![]() |
Call now...for what? Do you think everyone is a 'mugu?' This is a classic scam. No photos of the property, no information on the location, no description of the structure and yet you want people to 'call' you? After opening a whole thread, to say nothing that had substance...? |
chigodo:The price, mileage and VIN number are missing... |
UnknownT:PPPRA are silly jokers. If subsidy has been removed on kerosene, why da heck are they now fixing a price for it at 83 per litre? When diesel was deregulated and subsidy removed, did PPPRA bring out a price template to dictate at what price diesel must be sold? Now diesel sells from 103 naira per litre to 130 naira per litre across the country, depending on where you buy from. ![]() Why can't they allow kerosene to find its own level? After all, there is no subsidy on cooking gas and nobody has brought out any template to indicate that it must sell at a particular price. Na wa, o! |
Someone should do a full-length documentary on this man - there is still so much that we do not know about the late Prime Minister. His ideology, his early childhood, educational life, his rise to power, his family life, lineage, political decisions, challenges etc. Even copies of his autobiography are very difficult to get in the bookstores especially in the South-West. Why is there so much silence about this noble man? Is it deliberate? |
What year is the RR Sports? Is it 2006 or 2008 model, before the upgrade? |
HsLBroker:Are there larger plots available in that same location?? ![]() |
Living4christ:See this one? Were you not the same one defending their lawlessness a short while ago chanting : " ..If the sw pass through have of wat SS pass through u guys will pick arms, have u visited the place that feed u? when u visit the villages that gives naija oil, and see the underdevelopment u will understand....I will advice you to put ur leg inside there shoe to understand." Were you not offering tacit support for their armed brigandage through your words? In fact you even went further to take sides with them by claiming that: "When injustice become a law, opposition becomes a duty!" Now you are turning round here to yarn rubbish. Living4christ:Abeg, swerve and hug the nearest transformer. ![]() |
jayhumble:Ah....now we have finally come to the end of the story. To God be the glory!Thank goodness you decided to play 'detective,' and you finally found evidence that she has not repented. You have made a wise decision. Good luck. I pray your next relationship brings you all the happiness you deserve! ![]() |
texazzpete:Guy, I am still trying to get my jaw off the floor since I read your statement : "there is no direct correlation between actions she took as a single babe seeking love and how she will behave as a married woman." Are you for real?? So if a lady works as a stripper as a single girl, you honestly want us to believe it has no bearing on how she would act as a married lady? Who is singing this deceitful tune into your ears, please? ![]() |
texazzpete:And your choice of pain is 99% your own decision, by the time the girl shows her true colours right after the marriage. Your analogy of the Brazilian babe does not do justice to the issue at hand. The Brazilian babe was NOT a materialistic chic, or a babe with a sordid past like the OP's girl-friend. The Igbo guy's mother objected to her son marrying a Brazilian babe solely on tribal grounds, which is not an objective way of analysing issues. Her fears were probably found on stereotype, and the reluctance to accept a change from the norm. ![]() The OP's issue goes much more deeper. He is lucky to have sister offering him facts, figures and insight that can help him make up his mind, and steer him away from disaster. Some people are unlucky not to have anyone offer them genuine advice before marriage, and by the time the wedding is over and all the ugly sides of the babes character start to manifest, they will start crying: "If only I had known..." Afterall, the OP must have had several other relationships before this one in his lifetime, so how come the sister is objecting vehemently to this one? It is because she knows the facts of the girl's past. ![]() My neighbour's brother almost got caught up in this same trap. His older sister was against his girlfriend right from the day he brought her home. They didn't know each other before, but from the girl's conduct and the way her brother's attitude towards his family changed for the worse whenever the girl was around, the sister knew the girlfriend was bad news. She tried to warn her brother. Did he listen? For where? Finally their dad died, and he had to shelve his wedding plans to this girl. She didn't like it and gave him an ultimatum. The wedding must take place after his father's burial, or else she would walk. Guess what? The guy thought she was throwing tantrums and ignored her. Exactly one month (not 2 months, o!) To say that the guy was shocked is an understatement. My advice?? Look, listen and learn before you take a leap into any relationship. Weigh the advice you have been given and consider your options carefully. God may be trying to save you from heartache and misery, further down the line. Just my 2 cents. ![]() DeRay98:You talk am well, jare. A man cannot be too careful these days..... neoapocalypse:Gbam! Gbam!! Gbam!!! Best quote of the month! Chisos, you deserve one chilled bottle for this comment and a suitcase full of Benjamins! |
LMFashions:Haba! You are running away? ![]() |
LMFashions:Guy, stop reaching for the handle of insults, it just shows how empty you are upstairs. ![]() In your earlier posts you were clinging to the fact that Sowore Omoyele said he was Yoruba, and you completely disregarded the section where he stated that he comes from a place in Apoi-Ijaw. Or didn't you see where he stated categorically that he is from "Kiribo in Apoi-Ijaw??" In fact, you berated another poster who said Sowore was a 'Yoruba-speaking Ijaw'. Do you remember, now? ![]() Why have you turned round at the last minute, to claim Sowore Omoyele is 'confused,' like you asserted in one of your last posts? Afterall, you were the same person who was insisting he was Yoruba, because he said so? Why didn't you point out the inconsistency in Sowore's statements right from your very first post on this thread?? Oh, I forgot...you were using the same statements made by Sowore where he said he was Yoruba, to call out somebody else. Can you imagine? The same statement that you are now turning around to use to label Sowore as a confused man. Laugh wan kill me die!! ![]() |
Living4christ:Wrong! I am right here in Naija. Answer my last question: All the anarchy, attacks, kidnapping and violence that your people and the militants have unleashed in the SS, how has it improved your communities or changed your villages for the better?? |
LMFashions:Hehehe.... hahaha..see this one! You are the one with comprehension issues, man! It is so glaring. Your responses lack cogent points, supported by facts. Did I not warn you earlier that you were basing your comments on a faulty premise? See what is happening now, you are being forced to eat your words and back track. What a pity! ![]() |
LMFashions:Guy, you get problem o! ![]() Instead of providing cogent answers, you descended into the gutter to unleash your barrage of insults, on a matter that does not put food on anyone's table. Everyone can see that the 'mumulity' (only God knows what school you went to) on this thread is lodged in your brain. ![]() I beg, go and hug a transformer sharp-sharp. If you like, go ahead and develop high blood pressure on top of Sowore's matter, o! He has said it clearly that he comes from a community in Apoi-Ijaw land. Why do you find it so difficult to comprehend this simple fact? ![]() LMFashions:See this one changing tactics. Now you claim you were "thinking they should reach out to Sowore Omoyele to ask him how he can be Yoruba in Ijawland... " after you had stated categorically that he was NOT Ijaw in your previous post? ![]() |
Na God I take beg you, avoid Military Hospital in Yaba. I had a friend who was admitted there 2 years ago, unfortunately he died after about 10 days on admission. The doctors are not paid on time, and on weekends (especially, Sundays) you will never get a doctor to attend to you if you are on admission. In fact on weekends, they assign 1 nurse to watch over 3 wards and each ward contains over 35 patients, at any point in time. Tell me how can such a nurse monitor patients effectively? The place is another glorified General Hospital with inadequate facilities and over-stretched personnel. Let me stop here.... |
LMFashions:Bros, you are the one who is confused about who Sowore is. The man has said that he comes from Apoi-Ijaw land, and he is Yoruba, but there is nowhere in his statement where he denies his Ijaw ancestry, too. I have asked you one question and you are still fumbling around unable to answer it: "Is there any documented historical fact to show the Apoi-Ijaw migrated to their present location in Ondo State?" Let me repeat this - If you do not have a clear articulate response grounded in fact, (and not the hypothesis or conjecture that you thrive in), kindly do yourself a favour and get out of my mentions. Daalu! God bless you as you comply. |
LMFashions:Shuo! Na you suppose close your mouth, nah! Your comment is a clear example of a lame excuse given by someone who has run out of points to prop up a weak defense. Oya, answer my last question: " Is there any documented historical fact to show the Apoi-Ijaw migrated to their present location in Ondo State? " If you do not have a clear articulate response grounded in fact, (and not the hypothesis or conjecture that you thrive in), kindly do not bother responding to my post.Thank you. |
LMFashions: You can choose to believe anything you like. It says a lot about the state of your mind, if you choose to dwell in the realm of conjecture, rather than truth. You said 'Sowore has reservations about the statement.' Please show us in black & white where he said clearly he had reservations about the matter, and kindly stop trying to imply things he did not say. ![]() The Olukunmi people in Delta North are not Ijaw and are not related to the topic at hand. Stop comparing oranges with apples, because your premise is totally faulty. Your hypothesis about the Ijaw migrating to their present location in Ondo state, is totally based on conjecture or is there any documented historical fact to show they migrated to their present location? ![]() |
RealityShot:I no wan laugh today, but.... ![]() |
LMFashions: Why the name calling? Next time you want to call out someone, make sure you are quite familiar with the tenets and depth of the whole issue. I have lived and worked among the Apoi-Ijaws in Ondo State for a few years. I doubt if you are familiar with the place, otherwise you would not be splitting hairs about whether they are from Apoi-Ijaw or if they call themselves Yoruba. You are trying to call out someone without even understanding the premise of the whole issue, and you are in danger of making false assertions in the process. Na wa, o! ![]() I am still scratching my head trying to make sense of your comments here : "Even if Ijaw-Apoi is Ijawland though Sowore somehow disagrees, he is making us understand that there are Yorubas there who are indigene and that's where he's from.." Where exactly did Sowore disagree? And how can a Yoruba community have its ancestral home inside Apoi-Ijaw land? |
OAFMods:Ask them, o. It is similar to the way Igbanke people in Edo State bear Edo names and speak a dialect with Igbo words in it, which often makes IPOBB groups rush to claim them as Igbo. Meanwhile many of those Igbanke people do NOT see themselves as Igbo. Even their kings all have Edo titles. ![]() |
LMFashions:Guy, go back to secondary school and retake geography exams, please. The Ijaws stretch from Ilaje Ese-Odo in Ondo State all the way through parts of Edo State down to Rivers State. All along the waterside/riverine areas of the western to southern coastline of Nigeria, you will find indigenous Ijaw communities. Take a trip to the waterside area in Ondo state, and you will come across the Apoi-Ijaw people in large numbers. Many of them speak Yoruba along with their Ijaw language, and bear Yoruba names. In fact, their Yoruba dialect is difficult to understand, because of the multiple Ijaw phrases in it. The see themselves as Ijaws first, and Yoruba second. Sowore said clearly that he is from Apoi-Ijaw area. So what else do you want to hear?? |
mordsith:Haba!! I weep for you. Guy, you need to see a psychiatrist fast! ![]() |
Living4christ:Guy, you are the one that lacks common sense and it reeks from your words. Continue believing the lies, that you have told yourself. So armed robbery, kidnapping, violence and brigandage is what you call 'opposition', in your own view? Those who use legal and non-violent means to put their demands across, are the stupid ones in your own eyes, not so? All the anarchy, attacks, kidnapping and violence that your people and the militants have unleashed in the SS, how has it improved your communities or changed your villages for the better?? If you cannot answer that question directly, please take a leap into the Atlantic and don't bother to resurface. |
Living4christ: Guy, pls swerve and throw your fake stories in the lagoon. I am not from SW, and what SS villages have passed through does not give you the right to justify illegality and armed brigandage! All the community development levies your people have been collecting in the SS for the past few years, what have they done with it? All the money the militants have made from their illegal activities and kidnapping, what have they done with it? Have they used it to repair their communities, or improve their lot? Lawlessness does not breed prosperity! It only impoverishes the people. Don't quote me anymore, if you are only going to justify the stupid armed banditry perpetrated by your people. ![]() |
guest12345:Point me to that section in the post where it was stated that I hate Northerners. Why must you lie to get your point across? And how long will it take the women to investigate the matter, and discover if it is true? Someone here has just confirmed that it took place in the Baba Ahmed family house in Kaduna and that is their standard practice. |
Nigeria lacks appropriate logistics infrastructure that conforms to international standard, so what are these people saying? |
Oloriode:Are they still available? |
That building is going to be beautiful by the time it is completed. Keep up the good work!
