Following planned protests at COZA during their Sunday service today, security has reportedly been beefed up.

The protest was planned after singer Timi Dakolo's wife, Busola revealed that pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo raped her when she was a teenager.

Video of a young man beating up his girlfriend after she rejected his proposal went viral two days ago, and it got people talking.

The man in the video, Alaoma Joseph, was seen removing the lady's wig and hitting her after she refused his ring inside the University of Benin hostel car park.

A lot of Nigerian celebrities and top blogs have even posted the viral video, and people have been raining curses on Joseph for "being a woman beater".

Joseph has now reached out to Amagitesblog, saying the video was a prank and that he is not and can never be a woman beater.

"I am not a woman beater, the video was just a publicity stunt for the English and Literature Students Association stage play" he said.

Mikiah who died in a car accident yesterday,  took to her Twitter handle on may 24th, to say that she felt weird, like death was near and it scared her.

A West Virginia woman who was fired from her job in 2016 after writing a demeaning Facebook post about Michelle Obama was sentenced to prison on Thursday for embezzling more than $18,000 in Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) disaster benefits.

Pamela Taylor, 57, who served as director of the Clay County Development Corporation, was sentenced to 10 months in federal prison and two months of home confinement, the U.S. attorney’s office said.

She was also fined $10,000,NBC news reports.

Taylor pleaded guilty in February to falsely registering for more than $18,000 in FEMA disaster benefits after flooding in Clay County, West Virginia, in June 2016. The floods killed 23 people.

Taylor claimed that her primary residence had been damaged in the flood and that she was staying in a rental property, the prosecutor’s office said. However, she never moved and still lived in her undamaged home.

Taylor repaid $18,149.04 in restitution.

After Donald Trump was elected president, Taylor wrote on Facebook;

“It will be refreshing to have a classy, beautiful, dignified First Lady in the White House. I’m tired of seeing a Ape in heels.”

She was fired from her job after the November 2016 Facebook post.

Here is the heartbreaking footage showing the moment 26-year-old accountant, Adewura Bello's body was removed from the drain where she met her untimely demise.

Adewura left her office on May 15 and called her family when she was close to Gowon Estate where they live to inform them that she was almost home.

But she never made it home.

A missing person tweet was shared by her family and a search began.

Social media users later hinted that a bike man carrying a woman suffered a mishap close to an open manhole and the women fell into the canal through the open drain, while the bike man was arrested for not heeding warnings to avoid that route.

Days later, the family of Lateefa revealed she was the one who fell into the canal and she didn't survive it as her body had been in there for days before a search was conducted.

Videos showing the search for Lateefa's body and the moment she was found has been obtained.

According to one of the men who made up the search team, Lateefa's body was found lying face down at the Abule Odu end of the canal.

She was recognized with her shirt and birthmark as her face had been badly damaged.

Adewura Lateef is being buried today at Morikaz cemetery, Agege.

Hundreds of same-sex couples in Taiwan rushed to get married Friday, the first day a landmark decision to legalize same-sex marriage took effect.

Taiwan became the first place in Asia to allow same-sex marriage last week in a legislative vote on a cause that the island's LGBT rights activists have championed for two decades.

A household registration office in central Taipei was packed as couples seized the earliest opportunity to tie the knot.

Several couples requested that their real names not be made public because they fear the stigma that persists around being gay in Taiwan.

Taiwan's Ministry of the Interior said about 300 same-sex couples were expected to register Friday.
