My second daughter (2 months old) has started
showing signs of eczema too.
but guess what am well prepared now coz i understand
the situation now better (from my older daughter)
i have started using Aveeno moisturizer richly and often
on her.
i remember the dermatologist warned me most or all my
kids are likely to have this problem.

My older daughter did the same thing when i had to
resume work after my maternity leave
she was 2 months and won`t take the bottle
all i did was leave the house often
and when she got very hungry she
would fight with my mother and end up drinking the milk.
i could not stand her crying too so i had to leave the house for
her to get used to.
concerning feeding him solids i would advice not to force it coz
he would grow more resistance to the foods
try putting what ever food you eat in his mouth when
u are eating. you will discover one food he likes
u will be surprise dat he moght like your own food instead

Yeah i know i should have made this joyful announcement a long time ago
but not to worry coz as they say better late than never.

I announce the birth of my baby girl 2 months ago weighing 3.8kg
and measuring 53cm. We call her Lorenna.
This explains my absence from nairaland for some time now
i have not forgotten u all coz u are always in my thought.

40 weeks plus and still no labour
baby is almost 4kg now and am scared
of having tears again.
my first pregnancy i was induced but this time
my doc has said no induction
so we have to wait for natural contractions
i still have contractions dat coome like brxton hicks but
slightly painful
at times 10 minutes or 5 minutes apart
but it does not grow in intensity\
is there anything i can do art home to get labour starting?
i can`t wait

i started having painful braxton hicks yesterday
at first they were 10 minutes apart and later 5 mins
but the intensity did not increased
went to see the doctor this morning and he says if it continues
then it has to get more painful
am just worried coz i thought i would have had this baby by now
is this how labour starts

went for a last scan today
and found out baby weighs

I will be 37 weeks gone tomorrow.
when i had my first child, i had a terrible
tears (fourth degree) she even tore my cervix too and
i bled so much.
she weighed 3.9kg

Moving towards my delivery date, i feel sooooooo scared to go through
the same problem.
My doctor has adviced me to do a CS if during labour we find out it's still a big baby
but on my last appointment he said everything is moving on fine for me to have
a va.ginal delivery.

Ladies what do you all think, will i still tear so badly this time?
has anyone had a no tear second delivery after a terrible tear first?
can i go on a diet to prevent the baby from growing too fat?

so many pregnant ladies in the house

am 34 weeks pregnant with my 2nd child
this pregnancy has been very stress coz
i have to take care of my 19 months old
daughter and guess what, she is a handfull

she practically beats me up and runs round the house
for me to chase her (she runs fater than me now) lol
i can't wait to have this baby coz i feel soo tired and even sick these
days (just recovering from malaria)

UPDATE:

Since i couldn't find Aveeno as recommended by
some mothers here, a friend of mine sent me Johnsons baby lotion from the UK
and dats what i've been using
i rub her atleast 3 times a day and richly to keep
her body moisturized all day

The effect of this has been so amazing on her
Her skin has started glowing back to her original fair colour
the rashes has disappeared and the itches has reduced to
only when she is feeling heat
