HE should have allowed fayose to decide on this issue . What if fayose decides that he doesn't want these new local goverments? Well I wish them all the best |
Dreal1247: My brother, you only know yourself. Its only God that will deliver this country. The issue of Boko Haram is becoming too complicated that in commenting on their activities, one is not certain, if may not be sure of what he is saying.that is why I always refer to boko haram issue as a complicated m$mess. Not all of the attacks going on are carried out by boko haram |
Moblord: I think they use GSM to control the bomb.... If they call the number connected wit d bomb then it wil explode... if u could recall wen state of emergency was imposed in Borno, yobe and adamawa, the Army shuts down all GSM networks and no bomb blast was experienced in Borno for over 6months because they use GSM... Also service providers should make sure every body has registered HIS/HER SIM with their correct personal information. Pls dnt mind my grammaryou can't just shut down the entire communication system of a city as important as kano like that. We must understand that the security facing nigeria is very big. The only way to defeat boko haram is to use the locals and the public. The civilian jtf was doing a good in borno until some fifth columnist withing the army caused mistrust between the army and the civilian jtf. There is no greater intelligence gathering method than using the people in the place.they see things more than the cops . But it is sad because ppl don't seem to trust the army or police in nigeria |
ademega: I kn , but do u think is professional of the police to ve hidden the fact when they even came to report the case ? They ve the contact of the school management and the college CSO.honestly speaking I even think it is the prayers that was made on that girls behalf that even made the police make all those mistakes, all just the girl life I am sure she didn't or wasn't even able to meet the so called guy before she was picked up by the police.and please edit or remove them peoples names which you have in ur post . Some ppl here on nairaland won't think twice before spreading rumours about those ppl |
Op ,I understand but I think you should be grateful to God and even the police to some extent. Which one do u prefer the missing girl to be with the police or with kidnappers who will slaughter her and divide her body into pieces?just forget the whole issue and thank God . |
Ucbiu: Now d south south ppl can see how does boko haram killed innocent Muslim in Aminu Kano College of Islamic & legal studies were d student are absolutely muslims no single christian , plz ma brothers in d south stop criticizin us, acusin us, and abusin us and our religion while dis thin is affectin us too.bros ,I understand . And I want you to know that the opinion of people here on this thread does not represent the opinion of everyone in their state or region. The issue of boko haram is no longer a religious or regional one .it is a national problem and the sooner ppl in the southern part of nigeria realizes that sooner or later these attacks will spread nationwide. |
Shydon: How does the bombing correlates with Sanusi's ascending to d throne? Were there no bombings before him? This issue of Boko Haram is a complex one.they are trying to portray sanusi rule as bad and this is exactly what they have been doing to gej government.the recent truce between sanusi and the president seems to be what they are against and the only way to make sanusi pay for this betrayal is to cause havoc in his domain. I know very soon sanusi will have to take a stand ,whether to be on the president side or the terrorist |
uzoexcel: i think the e stands for ecowas and not electronican e passport contains an electronic chip in it which stores all ur data, this is the new advanced type of passport which all countries must comply with and change to. Before most countries was using what we called machine readable passport. By increasing the pages it will save ppl time ,especially frequent travellers who have to get a new booklet each time the old one gets full. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Biometric_passport |
seeprob: NAIRALAND IS PROMOTING TRIBAL WAR PERIOD.....!!!! most comments i read here are full of hate rather than collective discussion and suggestion on way forward as a nation. yet to see the reason why the so called moderators and owner of this forum allow such inciting comments and post.I guess that is the way seun and his mods like it |
The big truth which the govt knows but is keeping from the people is that this bombing and terrorist attacks is no longer a political issue or affair. This has gone beyond 2015 elections . The nation called nigeria is gradually slipping into total with a full fledge rebel movement . Or maybe there is a fifth columnist keen on breaking up this nigeria by creating enemity among nigerians and making them fight each other. This might be the case of the recent killings of some Muslims making a protest in kaduna, this may be done in order to draw them into conflict with the military. God save nigeria |
I won't be surprised if kano has become a target, because of the recent truce between gej and sanusi. They may feel sanusi has betrayed them and in order to make sanusi reign unpleasant to the people, the only choice they have is to create chaos in his domain. Just my thought anyway |
mayorall: You ve seeing well boss. I dont doubt you cos your words is always coming to pass. God bless you sir.oga mi, I am very positive about this and I have even discussed with some people here . Ur concept and packaging is good. You need to start making ur business plans with the notion that paypal will start receive money option soon. This will boost ur business. I think u should recruit marketers who will source for orders for u from all south west states for a start. This product is very very good. Right now the ghana environment is having serious power challenges . This product will sell like hot cake there. We will be discussing more and more about this. God bless ur hustle. |
mayorall: [b]Here is the long awaited Mayor source full capacity 12,000mah power bank From MAYORALL GOODS NIGERIA ENTERPRISES you have been waiting for. This is real capacity and not the one you used to knowI see this product penetrating the entire west african market very very soon. |
Meestique: Hehe..! One of the chibok escapees I guess.most likely . |
Each time boko haram sacks a town it gives them more confidence. And it makes then believe that they can gain more and more. The problem seem to be getting out of hand and what started as a sect in a small compound in borno is now claiming villages and towns and the fact that the military is giving it too much media attention proves a point that boko haram is no longer a terrorist group but has trandformed into a full fledged rebel movement. |
I have been studying the book of the acts of apostles and I found something rather interesting. Paul was warned by the holy spirit on numerous occasions about going to jerusalem and that if he goes he will be killed or jailed . My question is why was he hell bent on going?I believe Jesus christ our lord didn't want him to go but paul was just determined too. Please I will need bible scholars to clarify ,was the jerusalem trip which paul avoidable? |
tipdrips: It is not right to kill an unarmed man, christian or muslim.another angle to the story |
joudini: It's sad man. But l consider it just retribution. Imagine the agony and anguish that would have been the fate of the occupants of that plane and their family members with loved ones. The world should never underestimate the suicidal tendencies of people who are part of an apocalyptic death cult. People who believe that the highest gift they can receive from their god is martyrdom.you have a point. |
olaadisatoyin: That's our hope, I have lived in Zaria for more than 20years and I have observed this particular group all along. Though, they don't pass an announcement before performing any procession but they don't look for trouble at all. Even if people are fighting, they don't involve them self. just surprised at what happened. It might be some form of misunderstanding or someone played a role in it. Well, I'm so sorry to say that our leaders now involve religion into politics. May God save us allfrom what I can observe ,it seems some set of people are hell bent on prolonging and expanding this boko harama or insecurity crisis in nigeria ,for reasons best known to them but certainly not in the interest of the masses. Why will u attack a group that has been law abiding at least to the extent of not causing violence ?it seems the attack was unprovoked, but we weren't there so we will just have to rely on what both parties tells us. But I don't think this is a very good sign |
There is more to this boko haram issue than what is been disclosed |
Simply doing his thing his own way |
Things aren't going right in Nigeria , and the situation seems to be going from bad to worse.I just hope this group don't take up arms against the army. |
joudini: Life without parole. . .sh¡t is worse than the electric chair or the noose.life sentence without parole is worse than firing squad, he will never have a family ,come to think of it that his father is a billionaire in nigeria ,so even if his father dies he can't even spend his own share of his father money. I really pity his mother,it is a wound that will never heal in her heart |
suwailad: They just hate Nigerians, plain simple.I lived in ghana for 4 years and I can say not all ghanians hate all nigerians . Many educated ghanians love nigerians because they know nigerians are smart and intelligent, but to be frank and honest no ghanian will like a nigerian who does nothing but shout and drink and commit crime. There are many nigerian professionals doing very very well in ghana and have integrated themselves into the society it is however interesting to note that even these set of nigerians don't like associating with most nigerian except they know you are the responsible type,I met one at the us embassy in accra and I spoke in yoruba ,she shunned me but when she saw what I came to do and how I was relating to ppl there she later apologised . But in an office I went to the first notice on the information was about a nigerian that duped them , so just like everywhere else if you behave urself and comport yourself in a respectable manner ,definitely reasonable and responsible ppl will love to associate with you irrespective of your nationality |
iamord: I had always known that ghana will see pepper under this regime.. You don't need a prophet to tell you.. Today where is our oil and. Gas plant? That we have to go through all this rubbish cos of some peoples stupiditygod bless u, the signs were there but many ghanians especially the uneducated ones failed to see it and each time u pointed itt out to them they will tell u ghana is greater than america . Now the propaganda can't work anymore and the fake image is gradually giving way to the real picture of high level corruption and infracstrutural decay in ghana. When they opened the jubilee oil I told them that now ghana will know what corruption is all about |
Ashantiking: That's very stupid of the police. What has Ghana turned into, these NDC government is bringing Ghana down. Where in the law does it say that only Ghanaians can protest. Mahama your time is up. Release the two Nigerians ASAPyou had a better candidate to vote for then , but ghanians voted for “e dey be keke”,well there is ur ndc goverment . Nana ado dankwa was ghana best choice in the last elections but they chose ndc mahaman. |
Btruth: I'm glad that you are agreed with me that Omisore is bad market then.......lol.it can swing either way. Omisore still stands a very good chance of winning |
command01: you gerrit... really,I envy your logical analytical abilitiessister, I am a realist, despite the fact that I have a soft spot for pdp I won't let that be cloud my analysis .when fayose got the ticket I knew he would win ,but omisore case was different,I remember that he and adesiyan threatened adeleke and that made him adeleke to withdraw, many formidable candidates that would have contested the party ticket with omisore also withdrew because they know how omisore is desprate for that seat. I won't be surprised if there are pockets of violence in osun before and after the elections. We have a sitting governor who is desperate to retain his seat and whose party is fighting for political survival versus a candidate who is equally desperate to win at all cost and has the fg backing him , sister just imagine ,if omisore is announced as winner there will be some violence and if aregbe is announced as winner there will be some violence as well. Let's hope that the law enforcement agencies will be up to the task to contain it and nip it in the bud |
command01: another candidate like?to be honest ,I think pdp has a dearth of formidable candidates in osun, my prediction is that aregbe is most likely to be the only one or one of the two apc governors who will retain their seats. |
Btruth: That is it. Omosore can only win that election if he come out to confess that he is the one that kill Bola Ige. I doubt if he can do that, if not, he should forget about the state house in Osun state. .......lol. Double wahala for dedii body....lol.bola ige murder is not a deciding factor , pdp is a strong party but omisore candidacy isn't strong, although things can swing ,but the issue is pdp doesn't seem to have a grassroot man and I think omisore was given the ticket as compensation for his efforts in osun pdp. If pdp had fielded another candidate believe me even aregbe would have been preparing his hand over notes by now. Pdp will not have much problem in oyo because there are many formidable candidates to choose from but I think osun case was the opposite |
