Science/TechnologyRe: China Land's On The Moon. Does Nigeria Need Need A Space Program? by texanomaly(f):
I should have gone to bed hours ago. I can't imagine why I stayed up to watch this. It's funny how you are all willing to fight one another, but are not willing to fight for you rights as Nigerian citizens. As long as you are busy fighting each other, corruption will go unchecked. Divide and concour is a strategy that works every time. Smh

aManFromMars: Honestly, you need to stop attacking people's character. I do not enjoy it. Why not keep your silly comments to yourself?

If you misunderstood my comments, why not ask me to explain them to you? Ask the people at my church how much I put into training them free of charge. Y'all just come here and make noise and rants because you have never walked the walk. The experience would humble you if you have. Corruption is embroiled in the Nigerian fabric, it doesn't matter if you're a Christian or not. Let me not start detailing experiences I had with a sound manager while trying to get contracts from Winners Chapel and RCCG.

Enjoy being silly and living in that delusion you call TRUE CHRISTIANITY.
Josh is wrong for attacking your character.

P.S. I will read the rest of it now. cry

aManFromMars: Nothing. Absolutely nothing. People have too much to lose if there is a change in the system. At least, there is a semblance of order in the system. Introduce chaos(revolution, imprisonment of corrupt officials) into a system already struggling with deep religious and tribal tensions and it would lead to anarchy. People are waiting to make profit if such happens.

Kill the thieving politicians - easier said than done, that's why most activists are on twitter and facebook. Talking the talk is much easier and safer.
Hmmm...then sit around and complain in your safety.

"Any people anywhere, being inclined and having the power, have the right to rise up, and shake off the existing government, and form a new one that suits them better. This is a most valuable - a most sacred right - a right, which we hope and believe, is to liberate the world."
Abraham Lincoln

vickyO: All Nigeria needs is a better government...
Space program is unnecessary to us now..
It's not the government. It's the corrupt people running it. There is an election coming up right? Is it only for the president or is it for others as well? I don't know how things work there. If you don't like the people running it, get rid of them.

So what can be done?

Yeah, so what happened? Y'all are always complaining about the education system there.

Where did I imply that?

Pls, can we honestly say there aren't enough Nigerian scientists to handle a Nigerian space program?
Can you honestly say that money wouldn't be better spent on a quality education?

aManFromMars: Yeah, just seen it.

We should take the risk. India and China still have starving people, but they are far ahead of us currently. Let's stop deceiving ourselves. Most infrastructure being built across AFRICA is being done by the Chinese and the Indians.
Seriously? You think Nigeria should put more money into a space program than education?

Nahum777: i see, your replies says differently ;(. Nah i dont. And secondly i speak with facts ;(, i dont engage in conversations I know nothing about. And yes I can be aggressive when Edomites try to teach me the bible. Prayerfully? Wel dayummmmm, your own opinion you mean?. In the other thread you said Satan understands the bible?. Well nah you sabi, i rest my case.
Of coarse he does. How would he know how to trip us up if he didn't? Do we not use the Bible as our guide? Would it not behoove him to know what he needs to do to get us on his side? How would know the opposite of what is good, if he does not know what is good?

Nahum777: now i see you wanna take it the wrong way? Mam i dont argue with Edomites, you have nothing to offer me, you dont know the bible. Its like Satan teaching Christ the bible. I have been reading all your ignorant/ aggressive replies on nairaland. You have no clue what the bible is, i should be teaching you the bible and not you teaching me. You think you can use the school knowledge to understand the bible?, now its better you dont respond, because i am 100% sure you read the bible without understanding a bit of it, why dont you sit down, relax and learn from God's people, that was why Christ died, to bring salvation unto the gentiles by the Israelites. I have read most of your posts and I can tell you are an arogant person. I dont get angry, but when an Edomite start telling me I have no intention to read the bible, it reminds me of the past.[/b]
You argue with anyone who doesn't believe the way you do. You are the aggressor here sir. I read the bible prayfully. I am the least arrogant person you are likely to meet.
Christianity EtcRe: Women Subconsciously Look For God In Their Husbands Because Lord Made Them So by texanomaly(f): 8:30am On Dec 17, 2013
Nahum777: your post was too long, reading it gave me headache, so i didnt read very well. But i know what you will say in that post, so i replied you based on that
Your first paragraph told me you didn’t read my post. You still have no clue what that chapter, much less that particular verse is about. Your reply has nothing to do with what I posted, or that chapter or verse. It is clear you wish to remain ignorant, and that you have no intention of actually reading the Bible, so I will not bother to respond to your ‘so called’ rebuttal.
