My friend was told by the pastors she stepped on a charm when she was small. They told her the charm she stepped on is responsible for all the problems she's been having. The discussion went on and on till she handed them 52,000 naira.

If she had been on nairaland and had been bashed on her beliefs about charms or the dangers of believing pastors, hook line and sinker, who knows, maybe she would had been wiser.

That's what we set out to do and what platteon was trying to do with the thread. If josh feels we generalise, he should know we are referring to the majority and not a certain minority which he feels he's part of.

From day one, ~I knew that Muskeeto was a Judas.....I remember hounding him for his "cowardly agnostcism" and then also attacking him for defending christians like Jesoul etc....I made the comment that Muskeeto is the kind of person that will throw other atheists under a bus for his own benefit......and he did just that many months after....

Deep Sight: I do enjoy debate: but this is one discussion that does not derive from love of the play of the garb.

Here is a discussion in which a person declares that there is no evil in any atrocity in history: even that there is no such thing as atrocity: and goes so far as to insist that he will not punish or discipline his son for stealing: because morality is subjective.

I do not paraphrase him in the bold above: the gentleman said exactly so here on this thread - with all gravity, seriousness and sobriety.

All right thinking people should be deeply concerned at such declarations - these are the seeds that breed deeply misguided perverts into our collective future: at which time we will stand aghast, as with the case of a Muttallab, for example, and wonder - whence this madness?
