okay. I didn't know that Emma was short for Emmanuel. Never heard that nickname. I learned something new. I prefer English. Google translator doesn't always translate correctly. Besides, there is not necessarily a "Chinese" language. China has many different dialects. I am trying to learn Pidgin. Lagos Pidgen. My bf is surprised at how fast I'm catching on. It is a fun language. That is why I am here on NL. I am learning "well well" LOL. I practice my accent and pronunciation on him, his family and his friends. He either laughs and says, "No, no, no," or "you got it right." Both make him smile. I love to see him smile. |

Spelt and spelled are both in the dictionary. In America, which word you use, depends on where you are from, and your level of education. Both can be appropriate. |

Thanks for your reply. Sorry I did not get back to you right away. I am still learning my way around NL. There is a very large number of Muslims in America btw. It is illegal in the US to insist someone state their religion on any official form. It is considered discrimination to require someone to state their religion, age, race, creed, or color for that matter. I will try to be open minded. Thanks for your input. TEX |
