Has buhari tried any APC looters in any nigerian courthuh
Does Buhari try anyone? Is he a judge?

It's not like many people have been tried since he took power, anyway.

Why are you so concerned about the political affiliation of any looters?
Crime › Re: NNPC:trial Of Treasury Looters To Begin Soon - Buhari by texazzpete(m): 9:06pm On Sep 27, 2015
lawyer:
Trial of Ex governors to begin soon, trial of looters to begin soon, trial of ex ministers to begin soon, trial of PDP to begin soon, trial of everybody to begin soon. Truthfully we are Fatigued from all the "begin soon" trial by media. Osibanjo as a SAN should help educate Buhari that trials are not fried rice and chicken. Even the accused are entitled to rights and to challenge the court process through injunctions, motions, appeals, adjournment etc which could take years before a conviction could be achieved. The noise APC spends on this Trial and a Probe issue is just a distraction from the substantive issues they promised Nigerians before the elections.

While we are in the season of Trials, hope Buhari hasn't forgotten that Audu Abubakar is on Trial for stealing Kogi's state N11billion and it's the same Audu that APC intends to present as it's candidate and the same Audu Buhari intends to raise his hand and campaign for. When is Buhari going to reinstate his commitment to sanitize Kogi state and corruption. Also Buhari should not forget the mismanagement of Lagos state funds by Fashola and how he plundered Lagos state into a 400billion debt planting flowers and designing 78million website. Is he not going to sanitize Lagos too with all the plethora of petitions filed against Fashola?

What is good for the goose is good for the gander. PMB should not make this probe thing selective and should stop making noise about probes and focus on the economy. It's already shameful that the UN feels disappointed in Nigeria for not attending a seminar organized for it and APC should stop deflecting its ineptitude with the crys of probe anytime people question it's competence.
He said TRIAL will begin soon, not that the looters will be jailed soon. Why are you drinking Panadol for someone else's headache? Why are you try to correct something that was not even said?

For your information, Mr Wailer, nobody cares about your 'distraction' whinings. Millions of Nigerians voted Buhari in to tackle corruption, including punitive measures against those who were previously used to looting with impunity. Which other 'substantive' issues should he address, especially when he's already tackling security issues?

You craved for change that's why you voted for Buhari & He's now your president.
Now, you can enjoy the change you all have been craving for.

The alternative was to embrace insanity: sticking with the same clueless PDP administration and expecting different results.

Fishy story.

You met a girl in 2013 during NYSC. You left NYSC and relocated when she was 18. Which means you were romancing a minor.

Now you say you got a job after 3 years. Which means 2016.

We are in 2015. OP, have you invented time travel?

What's with all these media hype by the military?

They catch a farmer and name him Bokoharam kingin
They run into kegs of fuel kegs and then term it a fuel depot
Tomorrow they tell us they've finished bokoharam and yet the bombs keep going off

Since when did the military find solace in the media?
Why can't they focus on military intelligence and leave the media?

Destroying a fuel dump without apprehending the suppliers is useless as they can easily set up another

Everything is wrong with APC
Strangely, this type of info release by the army was met with rave reviews by you wailers before May 29th.

Hope you now see that the 16GB version is selling @$249.99

Same way redmi note 2 was announced and what happened to the pricehuh
We have been selling Xioami product and we know how things goes.

Keeping quiet is the best thing to do.
The official price released by Xiaomi is as I stated, and is reproduced in hundreds of articles in tech blogs following the annoucement.

Please stop using 3rd party vendor sites as your own 'proof'. If Gizchina is selling for $249, how does that concern this discussion?

This is the Phone section, and usually announcement threads are done to announce new devices and reproduce specs, features and pricing information released or announced by the manufacturers. The fact that you happily omitted the official price from your first post is laughable.

For the last time, I suggest you open up another thread in the Tech market section (in line with Nairaland rules) if you want to showcase your own price. But for the purposes of this thread, I beg you, stick to the official price, let consumers make their own decision.

the fact that you cannot understand and appreciate this simple correction is quite embarrassing, to be honest.

When I join the auto section in 2009/10, it was vibrant in terms of sales, dealer partnership and transparency.
However ,in the last few months, I think our auto section is dying.
I joined NL to sell cars and learn more about the car business but it seems like serious clients go to olx, cheki and efritin.com.NL is now full of online pricers who probably have 15mb data to burn.I have nothing against speculators but I'm incensed particularly at those who price cars like crayfish in oyingbo market.

My question is how do we get serious paying clients to come to the auto section without investing in heavy dollar ads

Urs truly
To be fair, it became FAR more annoying when this site became overrun with extremely greedy, unethical dealers.
What we get now is resellers annoying potential buyers with insane markups, and dealers refusing to post prices publicly for discussion.

A long time ago, it was the norm to post prices, high quality photos AND the VIN number of vehicles so buyers could do their own homework. Now even to post pricing information is a struggle.

Take a look at your own posts. You have an ancient 2003 Corolla up for sale...Nigerian used, 110k + mileage and you're listing it up for 1.1 million, why will buyers not call to price at hundreds of thousands of Naira below your list price, since that is the going rate in the open market?

Don't be daft
This is a topic about Rochas Okorocha, a Governor who is empowered to run the State Government according to the Nigerian constitution. What does this have to do with Buhari? Was it a Buhari issue when Gov Nyesom Wike borrowed the same 20bn to carry out 'major projects'?

Stop giving inaccurate price here. You can travel to China to get yours.
Please don't be daft.

This is NOT a sales thread. This is a discussion thread on a newly announced phone. And the nominal price Tag for these phones are as stated earlier, when converted to naira. As long as they aren't being sold directly in naija, the sale price is the best reference for people. Let them make allowance for seller profits / shipping as they want.

Nobody cares what your markup will be. By all means, open up a sales thread in the tech market section with your markup on it, but stop bleating your inane nonsense here.

At what exchange rate did you convert that, and also how many pieces will you buy at the rate of 46k each from the factory?

Pls don't cause confusion here with this your price.
The converted price for the two phones are $206 for the 16GB/2GB version and $235 for the 3GB/32GB version. Those prices are in the public domain everywhere, and that's the price for a single phone, not any rubbish bulk purchase.

You'd better start contacting your agents if you have any. Those phones go on sale this week.

Higher end phone is 1499 yuan. and 1 Yuan = 31.22 Naira. Total price = N46,788. Much cheaper for the 16Gb version

Of course shipping costs may nudge this a bit higher...

At this rate, PDP will not survive to reach 2018.

Instead of understanding that many Nigerians were tired of the gross waste, the shameless corruption, unchecked insecurity and the inefficient management of Nigeria's resources by the PDP and wanted a change, it seems the PDP bigwigs have decided that it was the activities of online media like Saharareporters that made GEJ's loss possible.

Now we have mushroom blogs and online propaganda sites like the Trent, Post Nigeria, Breaking Times, Saving Grace Reporters and NewsRescue making up fishy, inane propaganda pieces, always attributed to unknown sources and credible only to folks of limited intelligence, like the posters above me.

I look forward to when it dawns on PDP that these transparent, poorly written pieces are nearly useless, since they cater only to existing wailers cheesy

Nigeria needs credible and vigorous opposition. It's time for APGA or Labor Party to step up since PDP is clearly in terminal decline sad

Jokes aside. This country is sick. This is a former Minister of Finance, ex-Secretary to the Government and Former Presidential Candidate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and a Yoruba Elder statesman that has been kidnapped. In civilized countries, the highest level of security alert would be raised to locate this Very Important personality within hours and try to forestall such from Happening again. But then again this is Nigeria where anything can happen. This is a very very sick country and i am surprised this is happening under a Buhari led APC Government that promised the highest level of security to all Nigerians.

Can this be traced to the withdrawal of police men from Nigerian VIPS or what? This is just as bad as the kidnapping of the Chibok Girls and its sad a whole Former Presidential candidate can be picked off the streets without a whimper of resistance. APC led Government must take responsibility for this and wake up to their responsibilities. Its over 5 months now and they cannot hide under the excuse of we are not prepared or handover security notes have not been properly briefed to Buhari. If GEJ was roundly criticized for the Chibok Girls kidnap, Buhari and APC must accept this one as their fault or are they going to blame GEJ for this one too? No VIP of Falae's stature has ever been kidnapped this easily in Nigeria and they should do everything possible to locate him ASAP unless this would further dent our poor security image.
don't be silly.

1. Equating Falae's kidnap to the chibok scandal. The whole world was outraged due to the kidnap of vulnerable, young ladies who are much more likely to be abused. The kidnap of an elderly man who is most assuredly being held for ransom and is in much less risk of physical abuse is not comparable in the slightest.

2. Saying the APC has been in power for 5 months is the height of cluelessness.

3. Tying this kidnap to withdrawal of illegally assigned policemen is really daft. Withdrawing our much needed policemen was an extremely smart move. The FG cannot protect everyone.

You clowns keep politicizing everything and it's pathetic.
