There are over 200 ethnic groups in Nigeria. I wonder where we would be if all of them turned into whiny babies because they lost out in political calculations? Not surprised a sheep like you will keep parroting the 'zoo' line. |

You have multiple threads on this page, why do you keep bumping unrelated threads? Why does an 'appreciation thread' need to linger for so long on the home page?
There used to be a rule about the number of threads one person should bump on the homepage.
I appreciate the fact that this is a business for you and you're looking for maximum visibility, but you need to ease off a bit. You're overdoing things.
Here's a suggestion. Put links to your appreciation threads in your regular posts or your signature. |

A bunch of jobless people. slap1: I saw it on Channels TV yesterday. The question should be: Why are some people fed up with this forced union? One Nigeria is not by force. Of course it is their right to peacefully strive for secession If that is what they want. And prepare to carry out a full referendum...which they probably know they'll lose. What is NOT done is to open a radio station to preach violence, intolerance, division and ethnic bias. In my opinion, Nnamdi Kanu is spouting treasonous nonsense and his followers and avid listeners are gullible sheep. Now I know why he keeps referring to Nigeria as a 'zoo' when he knows he has sheep listening to him |

Ok, I take that back. They bear the crime of stupidity for thinking that Obiano will stick his neck out for a traitor like Nnamdi Kanu |

Not to speak badly of their efforts, but we really should be able to do better.

From certificate-lessness to empty treasury allegation and then body language achievement; a fraudulent asset declaration, line up of fraudsters as (noise makers, sorry) ministers after almost 7 months of winning elections, embarrassing Nigeria outside the shores of the country, northernisation of the country's government (we are still waiting for the fullness of time appointment balance), failure to tame bokoharam in 3 months or produce the chibok girls as promised. The list is endless. PMB is a scam and Nigerians have again been had!!. One shudders to think that folks like you nearly had their way to foist another 4 years of the fake 'transformation' on Nigerian taxpayers. PDP and GEJ nearly ran this country aground. What about joshua dariya of plateau what happen to his case with efcc? Under the carpet i guess Abeg what did Alams 'massively develop' during his tenure? You are a disgrace to your education. Now that areas like Lekki are experiencing a taste of what millions of lagosians have been suffering , people are taking to Twitter to whine and complain.
This type of long term planning against traffic congestion and spiraling population should have taken place a long time ago, under Fashola. But Nigerians are too busy with hero-worship to get sense. |

Politics › Re: Nigerians React To Screening Of Ministerial Nominees by texazzpete(m): 6:06pm On Oct 13, 2015 |
stancydg: I am watching with utter dismay the ongoing charade tagged screening by our senators, where assumptions(which I understand to be the lowest level of knowledge) is the order of the day. Imaginary portfolios have bn assigned to the candidates in a process that otherwise should have been a detailed, precise and coincise interview of the nominees. This goes to show the lack of depth of thought of our leaders, beginning from our President, who took so long to come up with this list without corresponding reasons to show for the time taken. In a serious clime, where the change mantra has been spuriously bandied, the nominees should be making to the nation today, precise presentations of their solutions to the challenges in their assigned but yet to be confirmed ministries. In a serious nation, the senate should forward that list back to the presidency requesting more details to enable her carry out a thorough process, as soon as Senator Ben Bruce described the process as based on assumptions and a danger. I am so grossly disappointed because these nominees will take a bow today and go ahead to again require another six to twelve months, just like their principal, to first and foremost understand their portfolios, when it is eventually assigned before even coming up with blueprints to tackling the various challenges. And the masses will have to wait almost until the electioneering year, which by the way is less than 36months from now, to experience this elusive change. Going by history, nothing much is usually done in the electioneering year in terms of development. So sad hearing a lot of 'ifs' during this sham tagged screening.
Here is our call to duty, as great minds to take action beyond the rhetorics of our grand independence day events, to push this failure of leadership in the face of our government and to suggest practical methods, ideas and concepts of doing things in a series of ways that will bring about the desired change. Otherwise, we ourselves will be grand hypocrites that talk more and act less. Why not summarize this inane rant and plainly state why you dislike this present administration? You sycophants have had your turn to mismanage this country. Please let a serious President work to save Nigeria. Continue wailing sha. It'll be a long 3.5 years for you. |
