LiveByNight: Nice write up but if I must say it is riddled with contradiction and leaves one with the impression that you suffer from a deep.rooted inferiority complex
You began your post saying you are not here to impress any southerner but ended up just comparing your people with the very same Southerners you declared you weren't out to impress
You then went onto rant about the obvious failure and lack of vision of the famed Almajiri system your people are known for yet you didn't state any clear alternative nor did you question the caste like system between the Hausa and the Fulani ?
You didn't question the obvious subjugation of the common folks by the northern elite ?
You went on to rant about laziness and question the absence of Southerners on the northern streets begging while ignoring the obvious origins of this issue which I mentioned above ?
It is either this write up was poorly thought out or you just ignored the obvious and set about outrightly comparing your people with Southerners
Hence this article should have been rightly named "Why I feel lower than the Southerners"
PS: charity begins at home, start in your locale up north reorientating your kin folks on the need to do away with this Almajiri system and embrace education.. not ranting on the internet
Encourage self sufficiency in your folks on the local radio stations in your local dialect and don't rant on nairaland ...
Grow up and be proactive #iamsouth
what you wrote is true i am from north thats why we cant do without south, the truth is some northern people are very stubborn to the extent that they dont believe in going to hospitals talkless of school but prefer sending them to the city to do almajiri, kwankwaso tried during his tenure by returning them home and give them capital to start business but as soon as his tenure ended they came back again, changing their minds is the only solution but that will be the most difficult task anyone have ever accomplished
atikus biggest mistake thinking that the crowd gathered for him by kwankwaso is for him,it was for the sake of kwankwaso they where there ask his supporters they will tell they dont like atiku but prefer buhari
Inspectorsuga22: Dis country is divided in all fronts... amongst tribes, religion, region and I recently realized another very important line of division which is a huge disturbing line between the educated progressives and illitrates who does not have any plan of seeing this country move forward rather they prefare to be roaming around like bush meats without purpose and shouting sai baba upandan for a man who does not even know the name of the man who invented electricity nor the cell phone he is using...
now tell me who invented electricity and the cell phone we are both using
OreMI22: The rape of democracy by Buhari by merely writing fake numbers as votes, while rejecting the true votes at the polling stations will not stand.
The struggle for democracy and rescue of Nigeria from Buhari and his cabal has started.
that is how you will be blaming buhari, afterall it was reno with his obsession that made buhari more popular one day you cannot go to toilet again it will buhari again
Perfectnumber6: Shut up there ancestors kee u there , if you get the opportunity you sef go marry way more older white Woman sef to escape poverty from that your hell hoe called country .
